I'm still getting use to the area of Sunrise so I was looking for a nail shop to get my toes done. After a quick search on Yelp I came across Sami Nails. The plus was it was a quick drive from where I live. As I approached the door one of the nail techs were outside and greeted me and asked if I had an appointment. I did not and she proceeded to walk me inside and inquired about the service I was looking to receive. Upon walking in I was very impressed with the decor and cleanliness of the salon. It didn't seem like your typical Asian owned salon. The nail techs inside were all Hispanic. Everyone was super polite. Music was playing in the back. I was pleased with my toes even though I smudged one of my toes getting out the car :( For just a nail polish change it was $12 which I thought was good. read more

I was recommended this place by a friend of mine who has been here before and absolutely loved it. I was excited to try this nail salon place out as it was very close to my home. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the staff speaks Spanish and many of them are from my home country, Colombia. The salon is fairly new. It's decorated elegantly and simple but stylish. There's a beautiful flower wall when you first come in that you can take your post nail treatment picture and show your nails off! The staff offers you water, wine, or coffee. They're all very helpful, nice, and professional. I definitely would recommend and so happy I've found a spot I can go to now. read more

Went in today had the best pedicure by Diamund. she was so attentive. Listened to by needs and made anure my feet feel like clouds. Enjoyed the atmosphere and Kim was really sweet making sure everyone had beverages if they wanted them. now what disappointed me was there was no way to pay by card. only cash Zelle or cash app. well not sure what was going with the company but my bank would not let me Zelle them. No one there said they could take cards. Multiple people said no they could not. Disappointed that a few people walked in with appointments for the owner and she was not even there. read more

The salon is clean, staff are nice and prices are reasonable. Unfortunately the quality of work is substandard. I had a gel mani/pedi. My cuticles are cut up and it looks like I have a week of nail grow out. I tipped well because it's the holidays and I alway try and be generous but I am leaving completely unsatisfied with the services received. This will be my first and last visit at this nail salon. While I can't speak to most of the services here since I just came in for a removal, I can vouch for the quality of service. If you're looking a good salon in the area, come to Sami. I came in to have a soak off removal done for a botched manicure from another salon. I made my appointment online the night prior, and received my confirmation first thing the next morning. The salon itself is really cute, and the general atmosphere was very relaxing - the soft music and complimentary drinks were both a really nice touch. Sami was extremely kind and welcoming, as were all of the technicians. Despite the bit of language barrier (I can understand Spanish but can't speak it), the team took care to explain everything about the process to me, and were as quick yet gentle as possible in their work. They all seemed genuinely concerned about the sorry state of my hands due to the other salon, and repeatedly offered to book me for a manicure session later that day to try to make things better. I'm going to be giving my nails a break for now, but I would definitely choose Sami if I decide to try a salon manicure again. read more

This salon is truly a little gem if you live near Oakland. It's clean, aesthetically pleasing, and the customer service is spot on! Denise took care of me and she was super nice and did an amazing job on my pedicure. She took her time, gave a great massage, and polished my toes perfectly. They also offer coffee and wine! This is my husband's account but, I will use this to write the review. If I could give zero stars for customer service I would. I loved this place. Now they lost a customer. I made an appt online for 5:30 pm on May 2023. I walk in and was told that the girl who was doing my pedicure was almost done. I waited 30 minutes and asked how long it will be... 10minutes. Ok great. Waited 20 more minutes still not done. After an hr and 15 minutes I was about to leave. I find out the girl who was supposed to do my nails took her clients daughter now..... so they said oh I'm almost done. Meanwhile the person who was supposedly to do my nails was Sami.... And she passed me off to someone who was available so she can get her laser treatment done by another tech in a private room. Then I wait even longer and then as I was leaving Sami appeared out of the private room(they had told me she left and had a family emergency ) they proceed to tell me they will do my nails on Monday for free.... I had gone that day in May of 2023 because I was getting them done for my grandfathers funeral that was happening.... I explained to them I need to get them done. Almost 2hrs of waiting no nails done. Sami didn't come out to do my nails the nail tech couldn't say no to the mom that knew I was waiting and proceeded to ask if her daughter could get her nails done.... And the tech didn't say no... so I left..... this has happened once before where I waited and got passed along to someone else and had to forfeit my pedicure because it was too late. Some may ask why I am waiting so long to post. It literally still upsets me to this day and the review has been sitting in my drafts and I thought it was important for the owner to know that her actions impacted me and made me feel that I was less than important and that her laser treatment was a priority over a client. read more

I walked in and was greeted by a very sweet front desk receptionist. I was quickly able to get my nails done right away. I chose to get gel x nails for the first time and appearance wise they came out great. The cons that i would give is the environment while i was getting my nails done. My nail tech was constantly interrupted by a little girl who was the daughter to another tech. It caused the nail service that takes approximately up to an hour on average, ended up taking over 2 hours. Within a week i had to return to get my nails fixed as there was not enough glue on my nails and i was immediately helped. My suggestion would be to not have children in the area as people are trying to relax while getting their services. read more

4.5 stars. Every time i go, the ladies are super nice. I go to different nail techs every time so i cant recommend one specific person. But they respect your appointment time which i appreciate. I have never waited for over 5 minutes for my appointent. read more

Sami Nails spa is beautiful! When you enter it's very welcoming, warm and decorated so pretty. The staff is super friendly and pleasant. I came as a walk in and they were able to service me right away. Alejandra did my pedicure. She was VERY attentive, gave a great massage and pedicure overall. Updating my last review, they charged me $20 for not showing up for my appointment when I definitely did go. I called them when I got home and asked them to revert the charge and they asked me if I would go back to the salon in person and they would give me cash. I told them I was not willing to make that drive back and they told me it would take a couple of days for me to see the money back in my account. It's been two weeks and nothing. read more

This is my go to nail place and I absolutely love everyone in there! I always get my nails done with Jeimy and she's absolutely amazing. I've seen some of the other girl's work as well and they're all really good at what they do. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes for my appointments and if there ever is a delay, they always call me to let me know. Sami, the owner, is an absolute sweetheart and she's amazing at facial, lashes, etc as well! Definitely recommend this place! read more

So disappointed. Had an appt for me and my daughter at the same time. It wasn't set up properly in the system, so they weren't ready for one of us. I finally got into the chair, which was a near death experience, and the tech still needed another 10 minutes. Not only was she up and down during my service, which included a bathroom break, she gave me a horrible pedicure. Luke warm water, barely scrubbed my heals which are now still dry and callous, and never offered the opportunity to dry my polish. So yes, I ruined my toe nails in the car. AND, they have a posting on the counter that the services come with a free complimentary glass of wine. Never knew, never offered. Highly do not recommend in spite of their 4 star rating. read more

I walked into this salon today by just driving by and needing the service. I was so pleasantly surprised with the ambiance, the great service and relaxation that I received. The offer me a relaxing glass of wine. I had my nails done beautifully and professionally and I had the basic facial. The salon is clean, nicely designed and the manicurists are excellent. I would highly recommend. They also offer pedicure parties on Sundays which I may consider for the future. Loved my mani-pedi which was on special when I walked in!!! read more
