Just to find after a few hours of tear down. There wasn't anything wrong with the part in question. So I wasted money on a diagnostic fee and the parts they claimed were faulty.. just find out several hundred dollars later the part was fine. There has to a lil play in the front hubs so the 4x4 can correctly engage. And they wouldn't budge on the price to do what i originally asked to have done on my 2500. So needless to say they will no longer be working on any more of my vehicles And the lady that answered the phone seems to enjoy talking down to their customers even when they are very knowledgeable about the issues they are having. Sadly I have seen this happen a few times at the Bourbonnais location as well as her talking down to me. Not really something I like to see and deal with when I'm already stressed about getting my truck serviced Most the time I will do my own repairs seeing I am a gear head and am extremely knowledgeable about the repairs I'm seeking. Just upsetting to have to deal with that kind of rudeness when I'm already stressing about the repairs. Maybe it's time to hire someone that is nicer to run the counter that will not talk down and run off the customer. So long story short. I will no longer be a patron to this shop.

The work was done late fall and the east lot was done in the rain. When summer came, the sealant in the east lot began to come up, attaching to people's tires in large chunks. Some of our people have even had to have their tires replaced because they could not remove it from their tread. When our facilities team contacted Clear Path, they received no answer from them about making it right, and have ignored all our calls since. Not sure if other things are happening to prevent good customer service, or if it is intentional. Nonetheless, we are continuing to have multiple complaints from those using our parking lot, and we are getting no response from Clear Path on remedying the issue.

That was until today when I dropped my car off for a simple oil change and tire rotation. I had no issues with my car. When I picked it up, I was informed the back left tire dragged on the way out of the shop but they "managed to break it free". Well, they sure did break it, as they failed to notice one of the studs for the lugs was loose and had backed into the drum. When I drove part of the way home, all I could hear was grinding from the rear. By driving, this destroyed my parking brake system as all internal drum parts were destroyed by the loose stud. Shop refused to accept fault and would only cover labor for the hub replacement. Now I'm stuck with repairing my parking brake system that was fully operational prior to this visit. Never returning.

I've also been taking my BMW to him for jobs like a brake pads and rotor replacement, active flaps replacement etc. The stealership wanted thousands of dollars per job. Other businesses in the area refused to work on it, saying I should take it back to the dealership, or charged exorbitant rates. Took it to Don after I sourced the parts online and made an appointment with him. He gave the car back to me as promised on the same day itself. And I was shocked at how he only wanted a couple hundred dollars per job. They take credit cards and give you an invoice. I have absolutely no hesitations recommending this establishment.
