They are very unreliable. Called us and gave a window from 11-1. Called at 12:50 to change the time 4-6pm. Called at 6:10 to say they weren't coming and wanted to come tomorrow. I got so many calls from them with conflicting information. One said he'd be there in 10 minutes, and the next one would say another 4 hour wait. Sounded half the time was a call center, and the other would be a cell phone. Each time would be a new phone number. read more

I had an appointment for a technician to come to my house between 6 and 8 PM last night with a problem I'm having with my garage opener. A technician never showed up or even bothered to call to tell me they were running late or weren't going to show up at all... That's not the way to gain my business ... read more

He always answers my calls and does great work for my clients. I would recommend him to everyone to get the job done at a fair price.

I found Mike through Conejo Deals. Great at communication and follow up. He tuned up my garage and it needed a bottom threshold seal. He also replaced the keypad. He charged me a fair price and did great work. Happy to recommend this company. read more

The service I received from Mike at Same Day Garage Door was nothing short of STELLAR ! In the middle of COVID-19 my garage door decided when and if it was going to open. I had an expired Conejo Deal and I called Mike in a panic to come out and not use the coupon, he said not to worry that he would come fix my issue and that he uses these deals to make lifelong customers... which he did with me. He accepted the coupon and the door not only works but is so much quieter than before. read more

Purchased a coupon for a tune-up on my garage doors. Mike came out and found that one of the doors had an issue. I had issues with it in the past and Mike told me what was wrong. He had to come back out to fix it but it was taken care of quickly and professionally. I would recommend Mike to anyone that was having issues with their garage doors. read more

Highly recommended! Mike (the owner) is a very reliable and competent person, he has gone over and above to come through when needed. I appreciate the great service at a fair price but more than that, Mike helped me out in a pinch, and you just don't get that professional and helpful after-sales support very often. Very pleased and thankful! read more

Mike is the Man! He installed our new garage door and it rolls smoother than butter. Programmed 4 remotes for me, and was super honest and reliable at a fair price. Definitely recommend ! read more

Mike was amazing!! We sent him a request for quote via Yelp and he got back to use within 10 minutes. 10 minutes and a quick phone call later, he was scheduled to come out 45 minutes later at 7pm. He walked us through the repair process and was super accommodating. Nice to us and of our 3 month old puppy that was barking. What was most awesome was that he was super accommodating, very reasonably priced, and throughly explained the entire repair process to us, from which parts he used to exactly what he did. He even reset our door so it sat flush with the ground. He's our go to garage guy. He's great! read more

Did repair but charged me SO MUCH! When I asked him about this and said he never gave me a quote he said that it was old and our garage was dirty! So what! Charged 5x what both doors originally cost me. And rude read more

Mike was referred to me by a friend and he was so amazing, so professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He fit me in easily and got the job done quickly. I'm so glad I found Same Day Garage Doors. I'd recommend them to anyone for all their garage door needs. Thanks Mike!! read more

Our garage door broke yesterday with our car inside. Called Mike in a panic and he came over ASAP. Spent hours working to fix the door so we didn't have to buy a new one. Our door runs like new - smooth and quiet. Mike inspires trust, is professional, a pleasure to deal with and reasonably priced. I highly and fully recommend Same Day Garage Doors. Mike, thanks again for helping us yesterday! read more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!! There is no rating low enough for the owner of this business. I had him install an opener on my house over a year ago and everything is fine with that. I called him to install one on a rental unit and that's where things went wrong. I trusted him based on past performance and that's on me. The opener started to malfunction. I called him he went out and checked it and made it work for a couple of days. It started to malfunction again so I went to check it out told him what was happening and he said he'd order parts and call me when they were in. I called back after a week and was completely ghosted. After repeated messages on both phone lines and texts i went in another direction. Come to find out the opener he installed was used and not the brand I asked for. Straight outta Home Depot but at least five years old, with Parts from other openers painted to look new. About $600 dollars cheaper. The manufacturing date was even painted over with white paint. The only thing new we're the remotes. I looked on the state contractors board website and his license expired in January 2022. He ripped me off and is possibly doing it to many others. read more

Purchased the Conejo deal for tune up and keypad. Like so many other reviewers I was extremely pleased with my service from Mike. I needed my garage door rollers replaced and he made a special trip to get the supplies. He kept in touch with me on a constant basis to keep me updated as to when he would arrive. I strongly reccomend the professional and outstanding work Mike performed and would very definitely use his service again. read more

Called Mike on Saturday, and he was there on Sunday! Fixed my garage door within hours. I loved how he explained everything he was doing, and since I know zero about garage doors, he explained it in a way I could understand! Thank you Mike...I will absolutely refer everyone I know to you bubs! read more

Mike does not disappoint! About a year ago Mike came out to install a keypad through conejo deals and was extremely knowledgeable and thorough. Then just this past week we had an urgent call when a car went through our garage door. He was there the same day and installed it just a few days later. He was so nice, kept in touch on the status, price was reasonable and the installers were on time and cleaned up nicely. Our new door looks great!! I would highly recommend Mike and his team!! read more

I tried to work with Scott but we didn't agree on some things. He was quite rude but did apologize later. He might do okay for you but he didn't for me. Addendum to review. 4 months later Scott contacted me and offered to make it right by doing a lube and tuneup to my garage door. The door is fine now so I declined but it was a nice thing to offer. I am raising my rating for this. read more

We call SameDay and spoke to Scott he took the time to answer my questions and offered a free in home estimate. He arrived at the promised time (at a time of my choosing Saturday morning) and gave a very detailed estimate. We were giving a written quote with many options and several brochures. He didn't press me for a decision like the other 2 estimates we got and he followed up with us with a friendly phone call. We selected SameDay and they installed a beautiful 3 layer insulated door and very quiet belt drive opener. The installer really did a great job and despite a minor paperwork mixup at the end the job was perfect. I would highly recommend SameDay to my friends and neighbors. read more

Outstanding customer service, high quality doors, great craftsmanship and low prices. Mike at Same Day Garage Doors is amazing. We shopped around for a long time before we found Mike and his prices were so much better than everyone around, for even nicer doors (including the chain big stores). We are so happy with our door. It's so beautiful, we get tons of compliments. Thank you. read more

I had a cable on my roll up garage door come loose, and my door was hung up. Scott, the owner, took my call promptly and made his service call within the hour. He diagnosed the problem quickly, and had the garage door working like new in less than an hour. He is very reasonable with a standard service call of only $30. Same Day Garage Doors lived up to its name. I would recommend this company to anyone who wants an expert job in an efficient time frame at a fair price. Don J read more

I am so blessed to find Scott to fix our garage door in just 5 mins. He is honest, efficient and trustworthy, and of course a master when he is in the garage. I started out being hesitate to get him do my garage after seeing the bad review from Yelp, but he was able to squeeze me into his super busy schedule in just 1 day and did an excellent job. He is very knowledgable and experienced in his field. I would say that Scott did earn my trust and he would be our garage guy from now on. He knows what he is doing and this is how people should do their business. I don't know why people would ever leave bad review but if you are looking for a master and trustworthy garage guy, go for Scott! HE IS THE BEST! Thank you so very much Scott! read more

I had a wonderful experience with same day door. Scott fit me in to a cancellation in his schedule. He was right on time, extremely professional, installed a keyless system and programmed both of our cars to home link system. Also programmed a new remote and replaced a lightbulb and did it without charging me anything additional over his phone quote. I would definitely recommend Same Day door highly. I'd give him 10 stars if I could! read more

The weather stripping on the bottom of our garage door needed to be fixed and Mike came out to our house in Northridge the very next day, even though he had a full schedule due to the recent fires in Southern California. We were very thankful he made a way, in the rain, and he stayed at our house until almost 6 pm in order to get the job done. Mike was punctual, friendly, communicative and knowledgeable. He fixed a couple of other problems with the garage door and problem solved until he figured it out. We felt he gave us a good deal as far as pricing. Without hesitation, I would recommend Mike at Same Day Garage Doors to anyone needing help with their garage door. We would definitely call him again. read more

Same Day Garage Doors installed our doors three years ago. They did an excellent job at a very reasonable price. Appreciated their punctuality, workmanship and neatness. Unfortunately, hit the side of the door when backing out of the garage yesterday, called them and they were on the premises within a few hours. It was repaired, also at a very fair price. Appreciate having such a reputable and honest company and highly recommend them. Mike Bernhardt is the owner and he can be reached at (805) 322-4444. read more

Had Mike come out last year (with a Conejo deal) and knew that I would always ask him back with any issues. Just had him out today to deal with some issues due to redoing the roof over the garage. No question - Mike rocks! Rarely do you meet a service person who is not only knowledgable and does good work, but is also kind, generous with their time and advice, and not greedy or trying to sell you on things that you don't need. He will be my go to call for as long as he is in business, which I hope is a long long time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! read more

Saw the guy in his truck on the road on my way home with all the graphics. Flagged him. 10 minutes later he is at my house. I was sure I needed a new opener mechanism or whatever it's called. I was looking at probably a grand. He looked at it, started working, adjusted some stuff, reconnected a wire, lubed some hinges, 30 minutes later everything worked like new. When I asked him how much - he said "just a $30 service call sir". He even helped me program 3 remotes I bought a year ago on Amazon and never got around to reading the instructions. Here is the deal: he could have EASILY sold me a new system for a grand or two. And he knew it once he saw the cars in the garage... ...but didn't! Honest, professional, courteous, and highly competent are the only 4 adjectives needed to describe him. I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend him. I forget his name, so I will just refer to him as the Garage Door Ninja. read more

Needed garage springs, cables and new rollers installed. Scott came out on schedule, gave an honest and accurate estimate, did the work he promised all with a confident friendly and open demeanor. He will have our return business and I recommend him without reservation. As a side note: our garage which used to sound like a tortured banshee every time we used it now gently hums to itself as it opens and closes. read more

I had used Mike once before a couple of years ago and was very satisfied with his service so when some issues came up with our garage door I called him again. He did not disappoint. We set an appointment and he kept me informed on his arrival time. He had all the necessary parts to correct the problems and was reasonable with his prices. He is very knowledgeable and stays on top of changing codes so as to better serve his customers. I highly recommend this reliable, personable person for all your garage needs. read more

Mike at Same Day Garage Doors is legendary ! My motor was over 20 years old and it finally conked out. He was able to come to my house on the "same day" and install a new (and much quieter) unit ! I love it. Oh yeah, he also included a keypad which I needed desperately. Thank you Mike ! read more

Mike was able to work around my schedule and come out a few hours after my initial phone call. My garage door had broken a spring and would not open. He showed up on on time and ready to work. He replaced, a broken spring, my old bearings, and my old wheels. While doing this he was educating me on the parts he was using and some helpful maintenance that needed to be done yearly. His prices were fair and included tax and labor for each part. This was a nice change from normal service companies. No surprises after the work was done with this company. Thanks Mike read more

My garage door broke yesterday. His children happened to be playing right across the street from my home. The owners 2 children came running over to give me their Dads business card. Of course I called him because of his children. However, I called him three times and left a message without even a call back! I asked him to call me back and let me know either way. Nothing. Not good business especially when your business is called Sameday Garage Doors! Not Good Business. Calling another company tomorrow. read more

Mike was so amazing. I actually first purchased my garage door just as the Woolsey fires were beginning. My old door was stuck in the halfway position. In spite of the evacuations about to begin, Mike came to my house just to get the door closed before I was evacuated. After the fires he installed a great looking and incredibly quiet new door. Recently I needed some maintenance and he came out and did the maintenance at no charge just because he happened to be in the neighborhood! Highly recommend Mike for a new door or just a repair! read more
