Doll-Face Makeup masters Danielle and Diane prepped me for my wedding day…read more Diane did my mom's makeup and Danielle did my makeup. I cannot stress enough the tremendous amount of compliments I received about how beautiful I looked on my wedding day (and I live in Los Angeles with tons of LA based guests attending so that was a big deal). Also, I think my dad nearly had a heart attack when he saw how stunning my mother looked. I had my trial makeup session only 2 days day before the wedding because I live on the West Coast. I really loved the look but fiance was a bit stunned at the drama so I emailed Danielle with his critiques and she honored every single request come the day of the wedding - she was totally supportive, understanding and positive! The look I went with really focused on just enhancing what I already have. We didn't do a lot of drama because it was a day time wedding but the amount of drama we did do was so critical (as Danielle educated me) because it really turned out well in the photographs. I highly suggest looking at my photos - on the day to day I don't wear a ton of makeup so it's a really fair comparison seeing a photo of me on my wedding day compared to day to day. I still looked like me though which I loved! I did do airbrushing which worked out phenomenally well too because I actually had photos taken after my wedding (scary but it worked out!) and my makeup still looked flawless. Needless to say, I cannot recommend Danielle and her team enough. They were punctual and came with a massive kit. It was amazing how organized they were! They even brought lighting to ensure everything would look perfect. I was really, really ecstatic with the results and my fiance was even positively surprised with how beautiful I looked (which was the GOAL). Also, they are amazing with fake eye lashes! Seriously. Eye lash application Gods. I don't need supermodel makeup daily, but on my wedding day- you bet I did! And they delivered! Honestly, it's the best makeup application I have ever had and have probably ever seen. I loved it and loved working with Danielle. She is incredibly gifted as is Diane.

I'm not bad at makeup but I'm not a professional. So I emailed a few places, and Doll-Face responded promptly and easily. They helped make me a 7:30 AM appointment on a Saturday, which I thought was really accommodating, especially since I had only asked about two days in advance. My makeup artist, Diane, was incredibly sweet and had a clean and extensive setup in her home. The makeup included fake lashes, too, which I appreciated. Overall, I thought it came out great, and it photographed beautifully. The whole process was smooth and easy, and Diane really knew what she was doing. I've had my makeup done several times in my lifetime and this was definitely one of the best applications I've had. Super pleased!

I did a trial with her about 1 month before my wedding and I absolutely loved the look. She is easy to get in touch with through phone calls, texts and emails. One week prior to the wedding, I got a facial done by her and the result was amazing. On the day of the wedding, Winnie and her assistants arrived early to the hotel room (despite the long distance they had to travel) and they were very focused doing hair and makeup for the bridal party. During the wedding, Winnie followed me during the photo shoot to give me touch-ups. I have very oily skin, and makeup normally doesn't hold up long. But because of the fact that Winnie followed through the wedding, my makeup was on flawlessly and the picture quality was great. I also had a second look for the wedding... it took her less than half hour to give me a new hair style and makeup touch ups. She followed our wedding schedule closely and the whole experience was just wonderful. She is very experienced and has been doing wedding makeup/hair for a long time. I have already recommended her to my wedding planner and other friends, but just want to share my experience on Yelp.

After being diagnosed with breast cancer, I knew there were going to be a lot of things outside of…read moremy control. Losing my hair was one of them. What I didn't expect was how much the thought of losing my eyebrows would affect me. They frame your face. They make you look like you. I decided to get my eyebrows microbladed before starting treatment, and it was one of the most empowering decisions I've made in this process. The results are incredibly natural -- not overdone, not harsh, just a soft, realistic shape that looks like my own brows on a good day. Amy took the time to understand what I wanted, mapped everything carefully, and made sure the color matched perfectly. The precision and artistry were obvious. More than anything, this wasn't about vanity. It was about identity. It was about looking in the mirror during a hard season and still recognizing myself. If you're facing hair loss for any reason and considering microblading, I can honestly say it's worth it. In a season where so much feels uncertain, this gave me back a sense of normalcy -- and that matters more than I can put into words.
