Its been quite some time since I've written a review on yelp, but after receiving a facial here yesterday, I felt compelled to share. I wandered in to this shop a few months ago while shopping in the nearby stores. Jamie, the sales person, was super nice. I said I was "just looking" and she wan't pushy. When she saw me eying the makeup, she offered a free application. That's when I was hooked. I came away looking like me, only better. Fast forward to a few more visits, and I was eligible for a free signature facial. Last night, again without being pushy, Jamie suggested I could benefit from a specific treatment called "Hydradermie Double Ionization." In the past, Ive been skeptical about upgrading as I feel technicians will say things just to up sell. But Jamie knows her products and patiently explained the process and how it would benefit my skin. All I can say is the treatment was heavenly. Ninety minutes flew by and when I left I was GLOWING. This place, and Jamie, was an amazing find. I highly recommend both! read more

I recently visited One Beauty Salon and had a highly disappointing experience. First and foremost, the salon's hygiene standards were severely lacking. I requested a pillow for my back and as you can see in the pictures. I got a stained, disgusting pillow that I had to use for the entire treatment. On top of that, cotton swab I used kept leaving fibers behind on my face, in my mouth; it's just all so gross! The salon was not transparent about their pricing. I got a gift card for Mother's Day, and instead of regular facial, I wanted to go with Hydrafacial instead. The website quoted $175 online, but when I was done, I was told that the prices have increased, and they charged me $200 instead of honoring the price they had online. Mind you not, I still tipped 20% on the service. Finally, they did not have a relaxing experience. The room is right behind their store (Shiseido). The tech kept the figure white light on the entire team, used her iPad to play calming music, and I felt like I was in a football stadium the whole time. She didn't even cover my eyes, and had the light beaming on my face the entire time. The treatment was painful, and that's something that wasn't conveyed before either. Overall I loved Olivia because of the massage she gave me in the end. But overall; the salon did not follow through with what they promised on their website. The treatments and services advertised were vastly different in quality from what was delivered. I would not recommend this salon to anyone looking for a reliable and hygienic facial experience. Excellent place to meet all your beauty needs. This has always been a go-to spot for the locals. Quite a few ex-girlfriends of mine are die-hard clients of this place. During these special times, they go out of their way to make sure everything is disinfected and spotless, making everyone feel safe and comfortable. So yeah, go ahead and pamper your loved ones. Oh, and they have packages for guys too if you want to refresh your oily dirty mug as a result of being cooped up for most of 2020. read more

I have been to a lot of spas that helps me does facials and bought skin care throughout Asia and in the states. One of my friend brought me here so I decided to give it a try. I met Joey, she was very informative about what I needed and don't need. Never a bit pushy, unlike some other places I've been. The facial I got was called Radio Frequency. Overall I though it was amazing. She's very well experienced and i can tell the dramatic difference compared to other places I've been. read more

I absolutely loved my experience at The One Beauty! At first, I was a little skeptical to get the signature facial as I have very sensitive skin, but Joey did a wonderful job! Not only was it the most relaxing hour of my life, but the products she used were all natural and made my skin glow. No bad reaction whatsoever! I highly recommend scheduling a facial with Joey. She walks you through the entire experience and makes sure you're comfortable and relaxed the entire time. After, Gabriela helped me pick out a great clarifying cleansing foam and even gave me samples of day creams and serums! If I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would!!! I am so happy this Shiseido store opened in the area! The variety of their products can be overwhelming but the saleslady is knowledgeable, patient and not pushy. She walked me through each product line and offered suggestions. They have different twists of the classic Shiseido that I religiously used years ago. I stopped using their products a while ago and now there are so many different varieties, each with a different focus feature. I had signed up for their loyalty program when they first opened, not expecting much. After my purchase today, she told me I qualified for a free facial. Apparently, after you spend $350, you qualify for a free facial. Each time I purchased here, she included a nice travel size set and travel pouch. If you are too overwhelmed by the choices, go the table at the front of the store, where there are samples of all of their product lines which are free to take and try. Joey is absolutely amazing. I haven't had a cleansing done in a while and she made sure to address all my concerns. I have really sensitive skin and she was both gentle and thorough to get all the icky stuff out. The massage was also heavenly. I felt so refreshed afterwards. I'm also super happy with the products she recommended to me as it's kept my skin hydrated and clear. She's not pushy like other spas I've been to and I appreciate how genuine she was. I've been searching for a good facial spa and is overdue for a facial. I opt for microdermabrasion & Gabby did a great job on removing all the white heads. The entire experience was relaxing & the place is clean. Aside from getting a good microdermabrasion, I received head, neck and shoulder massage. I bought additional microdermabrasion at checkout because they offer 20% off at the moment. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try. read more

Before coming to Joey for a facial, i went to a spa i found on Groupon for a cheap quick fix and I ended up having a reaction to one of the products. My skin burned and I regretfully brushed it off. I ended up with dry patches on the outer corners of my eyes that lasted about a week. I will never do that to myself again. I didn't know Shiseido offered facials because not all the boutique stores offer these services. The atmosphere was perfect and the blanket was so soft. Add Joey's gentle techniques and it was the most pleasant facial I've ever experienced. Even the extractions were gentle. I don't have big pores but I do have a lot of little ones and by the time Joey was done, I couldn't stop touching my face because it was so smooth. I have pretty fussy skin that's prone to breakouts and I tend to have problems finding products that work. A friend of mine suggested the Shiseido line. When I got to the store I spoke with Jamie who was AMAZING! She helped me plan a skin care routine and gave me some samples to try before I made the commitment of a big purchase. I loved the results so much that not only did I go back to buy I also treated myself to a facial with Jamie. She did an amazing job, (awesome face and scalp massage).
