Chicken kebab entree with grilled veggies
Jessica Y.

6/5 stars. Can't stop raving about how delicious our lunch was. Drove a little over 20 mins to get here but was totally worth the trip. Ordered the lamb shawarma and chicken kebab entrees both with grilled veggies. Got a side of hummus and tzatziki. Food was ready quickly and served nice and hot. The chicken kebab was so tender and moist- absolutely delicious. The lamb was on the drier side but tasty. The lady who took our order was so sweet and gave us a small tasting of their housemade falafel, baba ghanoush and muhammara. The falafel was moist on the inside and crispy crunchy perfection on the outside. What blew me away was the sides- the tzatziki was one of the best I've had. Thick and creamy, not watered down and very flavorful. The muhammara and baba ghanoush were also spiced well and delicious. All nice and creamy, great texture. And they serve each entree with their homemade spicy tomato salsa which I didn't find to be spicy (but we have a high tolerance for spicy food) but it was sogood We took a menu home cuz we are def coming back or doing take out. Totally worth the drive for great quality food.

Tasty food, quick service and a casual, welcoming ambiance. The falafel were shaped like hearts and the pita was warmed for idealized enjoyment. The hummus and tahini were good and I look forward to coming back and trying some other vegetarian offerings (baba ganoush & stuffed grape leaves, & more!)

Chicken schwarma sandwich

Came here since we saw it was new to the area and actually took over the old sandwich spot Monty's. We got the falafels, the chicken and lamb Schwarma sandwich. The service was quick and friendly. The falafel was fresh, moist and and in the cutest heart shape. The sandwiches were good, although I did think they needed a bit of extra sauce not that it was dry or anything but just a hint of extra flavor. I got a side salad with mine that I really enjoyed while husband got fries that were average. We asked for more sauce for the falafels and I think they were going to charge us but was kind enough not to, since it was our first time but now we know. The ambiance was nice, quiet and if you have been to Monty's it was a few tables so pretty small. Overall happy a Mediterranean place took over this spot and will try more food options next time!

Love this place. Food is super fresh and authentic Mediterranean style cuisine. I have been here several times for both dine in and take out and the food is just so great for the cost & quality of what they are preparing. If you are looking for a new place to try in the Bucks area, show this business some love, they are awesome.

It was disappointing. I Do Not recommend the lamb gyro. There was an imitation of lamb meat. Had to throw it out. What a waist

Very modern and aesthetically pleasing restaurant. They have seating up to 4 on the left side and…read morein the right side it could accommodate even bigger parties. The waiter was nice and pretty knowledgeable. Our seat and area had some rice from a previous party but the waiter cleaned it up quickly. We were recommended the bread and the samsa. The bread sounded pretty good, but flavor wise very mild with a tiny hint of sweetness. It certainly is delicious eaten warm though. Super crispy with a soft inside. It pairs very well with the Korean style short rib as it soaks up the sauce nicely. The samsa was pretty good. The crunchy crust with the pastry that encircles some meat and onions seems similar to the bread they serve. It comes with a sweet salsa. The flavor was nice, well seasoned but nothing too exciting. The beef short ribs were really good. There was about 6-7 pieces but they are not the skinny short ribs you see at Korean places. These were thick slices packed full of delicious fatty flavor with a kick of sweet and savory. No rice came with it but the bread you order is amazing with this as it helps cut the fattiness and grease of this dish. Lastly we had the kebabs. The sauce was the same sweet salsa with the samsa. It would be nice if they had other sauces that can be equally refreshing or something spicy could work too. The lamb nicely cooked and well seasoned. It was a solid dish that Lamb lovers would sit well with. All in all a great place with pretty reasonable prices. Excited to come back and try something else. You wouldn't regret trying it.

My Albanian wife and I loved our lunch experience here. It was our first time…read more They had a special hummus with ground lamb appetizer. The ground lamb didn't overpower the already expertly executed hummus and added fantastic depth and richness. We also sprung for the grilled calamari tubes and the chef did a great job of not overcooking while achieving an excellent char. We shared the baked cod and the spice was delicate and perfect. Using cured lemon was a very clever idea as the sauce was not too strong but still had depth; the saffron and turmeric were well balanced. The fish itself was NOT overcooked and flaked perfectly. The vegetables were also executed well and cooked so they could be eaten with the same bite. The star of the show was still the cook on the fish with the wonderful sauce. The sever gave us some Moroccan mint tea which was also wonderful. We will be making the drive from the Maine Line to just to dine here again.

Our first time at Blue Olive was to celebrate a birthday and it didn't disappoint…read more The fusion of Mediterranean/Tunisian/Greek food was nothing short if spectacular. The service was incredibly friendly and gracious and the ambiance charming. We started with hot appetizers of roasted artichokes, pan fried Halloumi cheese, Spanakopita and an evening special hummus with spiced, minced lamb served with warm pita. All so delicious we were tempted to forego our main courses of moussaka, lamb kebab and delicious lemon/caper cod served over a bed of roasted root vegetable. Desserts, celebrated with a happy birthday candle on a scrumptious chocolate/hazelnut cake , walnut baklava and Turkish coffee made the evening complete. This BYOB gem is a culinary find and we will be going back soon.
