Love the heel quality at Sam Edelman. The staff here are all so friendly and greeted us as we entered. I first got introduced to the brand via Influenster when I was gifted with a pair of beautiful boots. We took a visit to the actual store however there was no AC that day and they used the portable coolers in the back and vent them into the fitting rooms through the door openings to keep the back room cool. I really like this crop top. One of the associates called in and got my size however I decided not to purchase it since there is no fitting room to try it on. The associate said I can buy it and try it on at home and I can always return it if I don't like it but I feel it was a bit of a hassle. Overall, I love the quality here and the service was excellent... however, I did wish the associate never blurted out that piece isn't online while it is. read more

Wow it's came down to this, my one star review for Sam Edelman. I once again was disappointed with the quality of shoes. After bringing it to the District Manager attention Alysha, who was rude, blatantly incompetent, gave zero empathy for another shoe that was worn and broke the same day! When I took this issue up with her she was condescending, and utterly unhelpful. I asked to speak to another manager, and she began to go in circles about her title and gave me snarking looks as I showed her my receipt from the same day! This lady belongs working at a fast food restaurant, where bad attitudes are abundant. If you entrust a person like Alysha in a manager position it says poor things about you as an employer. I've been in this Sam Edelman a few times. The salespeople are cordial and helpful and greet you upon entry. They aren't angling to be your new best friend, but they are not rude or unapproachable. And they aren't high pressure too, which is great. Wandering around the attractive showroom, I wish they had a wider variety of flats, but oh well. The saleswoman helping me was on point when she suggested I try a larger size and even brought out a second pair a size up just in case. I made a return over a year ago (realizing the two shoes I'd purchased were ugly and frumpy copies of other designs) and have still not received my refund. I have called customer support multiple times, and they've assured me each time they'll get back to me in 3 business days and never have. Each time, they've acknowledged that the process just 'dropped off' and something went wrong but have not been able to actually give me my refund. I went to a physical store where they not only refused to help me, but also didn't bother to check if there was actually anything they could do - just flat out refused. Awful quality of $70 slides that injured my feet ** sorry for the wound picture, please do not look at the image of you will feel uncomfortable. there's several other blisters like this but I'm only showing this one** I bought this slide because I was looking for a comfortable pair of slides for casual walking. After wearing the slides on the street for only an hour, several blisters like this formed on my feet. I didn't realize how bad they were until I got home. It's been four days and the wound wouldn't heal and still bleeds and fluid will come out. I would not expect to pay $70 for a pair of slider that I can't even wear for an hour. It's not the fit issue because the sales associate at the store looked at it and said it was a perfect fit. I tried to call the store, multiple times, every time they ended up put me on hold for ten minutes and then hang up. No one seems to care about customer service. The store asked me to contact online customer service number because they can not do anything even if I bought the shoe from the store. I was not allowed to return the shoes even if I bring it back to the store. I tried calling the online customer service number and I was on the phone with the representative for 40 min. All they can do at the end is giving me store credit if I ship the shoes back to their corporate address. The customer representative was very indifferent, saying that blisters like this was normal, blaming my feet for not being the perfect fit for this shoe. Since when does shoe company aim to make shoes that requires specific type of feet to fit their shoes? Tbh I wouldn't even be mad if this was a heel or any other type of shoes that I would expect some level of discomfort. How did you manage to make a slide uncomfortable? At this price? So they want me to spend more money on this brand after what had happened. Being a woman with small feet (I wear a size 4.5) it is extremely difficult to find shoes! Sam Edelman is one of the brands that makes my size and also carries it in their stores (which is more than i can say for Vince Camuto, who makes shoes in my size but doesn't stock in in stores). Walked into this Soho store knowing the brands reputation of nice shoes at a decent price point. I'm a fan of their flats and heels and had purchased a few pairs before at department stores. The salesperson I worked with was super friendly. When she found out what my size was, she walked me around the showroom and pointed out shoes she had in stock in my size. Awesome! I ended up trying on a few pairs and selected a patent nude peep toe pump. The shoe was even on sale, AMAZING! $60 for a pair of shoes in soho is a STEAL and I'm super happy with my purchase. I actually went back to the store 2 weeks later and that same sales associate remembered me. It's like I died and went to shoe heaven! I stumbled upon the Sam Edelman store by accident when I went to the Frye store. I was ecstatic since I'm a HUGE fan of Sam Edelman. Their shoes are comfortable, cute, and affordable! The service here is average, but all the shoes are really cute! They have every color available of their Felicia flat. These are the most comfortable flats I have ever owned. They also have jewelry and clothes in the back of the store. At first when I went into the store, the staff ignored me, but as soon as I asked for help they were very attentive. I walked out with a pair of grey booties on sale for $120 so I was really happy! :) I gave them 4 stars for the great products they carry, but I deducted one star for the average service. read more

Firstly, the service is AMAZING - this place has patient and friendly salespersons that do not make you feel bad for trying on any number of shoes.They place no covert pressure on you by way of body language or weird attitudes to make a purchase. I walked in not expecting to get anything but after looking around for just a few minutes, I saw about 5 pairs of shoes that were super cute and reasonably priced. I already own 2 pairs of Sam Edelman birkenstocks at home and I can say they're super comfortable! The ladies in the store made you feel very welcomed and were very patient. After trying on a pair of cute white sandals and decided not to get it, the sneaky boyfriend of mine bought the shoes for me. They got a new pair for him and rung him up at the register. Beautiful, feminine, unique styles at an affordable price. I have insanely narrow feet, and most of Sam Endelman's shoes are made with straps, which helps so much! The shoes are not the most comfortable, but they are comfortable enough to wear. The service is wonderful, and they will ship your shoes home for free if you don't feel like carrying them home. I just have to preface this review with the fact that I own lots of Sam Edelman shoes. They are beautiful and stylish. Unfortunately I went in on a Wednesday afternoon, completely empty with 5 associates and 1 security guard standing around. I tried to exchange a pair of boots that had a defective zipper. I own 2 pairs of this boot so it was random. They said the store cannot do exchanges and that I need to call customer service. I asked if we can call here. The answer was NO! The store is empty...so I was extremely confused and shocked at the lack of customer service. I left with the 1800 # and it was about a 10 min hold time before I spoke to a live person. I got 2 conflicting responses on how to return this boot! Today someone from corporate called and tried to figure out the story. She was really nice in explaining the process and listening to my horrible experience at the soho store. I will update this once I receive my refund check for the boots. I arrived 10 minutes before closing and I told them I was FOR SURE going to buy shoes and the women gave me so much attitude. I had purchased 2 shoes the day before and wanted to exchange one my boyfriend was a few blocks away with them. I decided on my shoes and purchased them at 7:10- 10 minutes after they closed - and she made me feel so unwelcomed after purchasing over 350 worth of products it was ridiculous- my boyfriend arrived right as I was walking out and they refused to let him in and let me exchange the other pair- the girl told me to mail them to a local friend since I don't live in the area and can't come back on my own - so great shoes but really horrible customer service. read more

I'd never heard of this place before walking into the store with the green sign in Soho. I thought it was a pretty decent price point for shoes and there were lots of fun colors for summer. I thought this place was really cute and there were no tills in the the store, we had to be rung-in at the back of the store. The staff were a tad inattentive although it was really busy. I was quite impressed with the high heels I purchased, they were really comfy, I would love to find another pair of these shoes in my hometown, I will definitely be on the hunt for another pair!
