The windshield washer buckets are always full with plenty of soap, and the big trash cans make it easy to clean out the car. Inside, this Flying J has pretty much everything: Taco Bell, Cinnabon, sandwiches, tons of drinks, a lounge area, showers, and clean bathrooms. Super convenient for a quick break. There's also a Jack in the Box next door, and local vendors often sell tacos, honey, and veggies nearby. Great stop all around -- reliable charging, lots of food options, and easy in‑and‑out.

The female employee seen my son and partner enter the store and as 18 year old son exited the restrooms he was told by the lady there he had to purchase something, so he purchased a mouth wash. As I enter to use the restroom with my 6 year old daughter the same employee let me know we had to purchase something to use the restrooms with an attitude. I Said we would and Asked my partner who had already used the restroom and didn't get told anything about purchasing something, to please purchase something so she wouldn't be upset, she quickly responded I'm not upset you need to pay. So he did, he purchased two juices. Even though my son had already purchased something. I asked the same employee why she charged us more than once to use the restroom. and why she had to have attitude with me and my daughter and son about purchasing something, but when my partner had entered used the restroom waited for my 18 year old son and didn't get told anything , but was bias with my little girl who couldn't hold it , to purchase something. No one was there but us and she had such an ugly demeanor when I told her why charge us twice , she got in my face and told me to report it and get out, she also was blowing kisses and waving while standing in the front door. Such improper behavior (Side note) Her partner pulled up To the gas station and was there when the interaction happened and as I exited he went to his car as to get something (weapon) can't say for sure because I didn't stick around to find out. Lol. It's a little weird to have to walk so far to buy your essentials. In any case, do make that trip because they have another interesting feature to this gas pump: the hot food bar. It's located in the back of the store and I think operates separately from the rest of the gas station because you pay for your selections at the hot food bar. The hot foods are located behind a glass heating situation and the cashier gets your food for you as you make your selections. Weird. I got something called a Tornado with cheesy pepper jack. This was quite good for gas station food. It was a mini rolled up chimichanga with just pepper jack cheese. I also got a chimichanga, which again, was quite good for gas station food - it wasn't overly greasy and the inerts weren't dry. Good for car food. I like weird details like this so make a visit if you're into gas station food too.
