I regularly come to Arvin Fastrip to get gas and buy food but I haven't liked one of the employees named Ryan. What I don't like is that whenever im there, I'm almost in front of him waiting to get gas or to buy something, he's always chatting with someone else and never turns around to help me; he just keeps talking as if he doesn't care. So I end up going to the other cashier. I've also noticed that sometimes he's sitting down and doesn't help clear the line and he's usually always chatting and laughing, but he never looks around to see if there's a customer behind. The only employee I see working hard is a girl with curly hair I believe her name is Lily. She is wonderful. The other not so good. It's not the first time that has happened to me but other customers as well. Whoever is in charge please talk to him. read more

This is my favorite Fastrip. I apologize to everyone who doesn't have access to it, I know it's a longs way from Bakersfield. This Fastrip always offers competitive gas prices. They have a neat beer cave, if you're into that. All beers are kept nice and cool in there. They also offer a variety of fountain drinks, icee machine, coffee and a cappuccino machine. They also offer plenty of munchie items. But... My favorite part of this store is the fried food and ice cream!! They offer deep fried burritos, rolls, wedges, and corn dogs. They have plenty of taco sauce or ketchup available as well. They also offer delicious ice cream and they do not hold back on those scoops. Seriously, one scoop is like three scoops at other places. This store is kept clean and we'll stocked. I'm very proud of it for being in such a small community. read more

It's a full $.10 cheaper than Costco and more than $.20 cheaper than the cheapest other gas stations I've passed in the Bakersfield area. We found this wonderful little stop during a nightmare of a re-route. Was travelling from Carmel to Orange County, when the Grapevine was unexpectedly shut down. What was supposed to be a 5-6 hour trip in the car with 2 young kids, turned into a 8-9 hour stop-and-go hell. We stopped at Fastrip to gas up, make a restroom stop, and grab food for the kiddos. During our stop, my son lost his watch and was pretty upset about it. Within a day or two, the store manager was calling my husband, letting us know that the watch was found. He mailed it to us, and insisted that he cover the cost. What a really nice man. :) If we ever find ourselves along that route, we will be sure to stop on by. Stopped in on our way back from Mammoth. Gas prices are the lowest we saw on our trip. Grabbed some hand scooped Dreyers ice cream inside the mini mart with outstanding customer service by the young lady who had on the happy birthday hat and said it was her birthday. Great price on a huge serving of ice cream also. Will gladly stop here when passing through. read more

On October 17, 2016 I went into the store to use the restroom while getting fuel for our car. As I neared the restroom there was either ice or water that had been spilled on the floor. My foot slipped and I fell hard on my hip. The store was full and I was in sight of the cashier. At no time did anyone ask if I was okay or come to assist me. My friend whom I was traveling with helped me up. She had to ask the cashier to please clean up the wet spot so no one else would fall. He came from behind the counter and put up a yellow easel over the wet spot and returned to his spot behind the counter. I was still laying on the floor at the time. He did not ask me if I was okay or even acknowledge that I was there on the floor. I am a 71 year old woman. The lack of consideration for your customers is appalling. I contacted the head office in Bakersfield by phone and left a message but no one called to see if I was okay. I also left a message on the FASTRIP website with no response. Your total lack of concern for your customers is appalling. I will never spend another dime at any FASTRIP Store. Oh by the way, I am fine. read more
