I love how huge and thick the pupusas are. $4.50 for a pupusa. 2 pupusas is enough for me and I am stuffed! I love supporting small businesses and this restaurant really makes the best pupusas. The restaurant feels very homey like you came over to eat at your grandma's. The red sauce is mild and very good. Their green sauce has a lot of spice to it, so i usually just add the red sauce and the salad (curtidos) on top of my pupusas. We also got their Nuegado pastry which is a salvadorian fried yucca fritter. I really liked it and it was nice to end the meal with a good dessert. The staff are all super nice and they do take card. Easy shared parking in a plaza.

Not too sweet and served with table crema. This food is solid, delicious, fresh made, and they appreciate your business. Highly recommend.

I must have had a brain fart or something because right after I walked in, the worker greeted us and immediately told us they had empanadas. He said they had chicken, beef, and cheese empanadas. I immediately ordered three chicken and three beef. I forgot about the arepas. The guy said it would be ten minutes. So we browsed their store. As soon as you walk in to the business, the small place looked like it is set up to ship packages. It has a small grocery store in the back, and has a kitchen on the side. The whole store was small, but clean. There was no seating in this place as it is not a sit down restaurant. Food orders are placed to go. Almost ten minutes exactly our empanadas came out. We took them to our car and ate there. We wanted to eat them fresh and hot and boy were they steaming hot. I loved the crispness of the shells. The filling was very flavorful and moist. I dipped them in the salsa and they had had a nice kick. They were delicious! We were able to polish off four. When we walked in, there were a couple of tables filled and 2 groups of people waiting in line. We waited in line before we were asked if we were dining in or taking out, at which point we were prompted to take a seat. We took a while to nail down our order but once we did, it was smooth sailing. Our server brought out our drinks, as well as cutlery, and sauces. The pupusas took a while (freshly made and to order, plus many to-go orders) That said the wait was SO worth it. Aside from the pupusas my mom makes these are the BEST I've had in Arizona. They didn't skimp on the fillings and they were burnt or undercooked. They were just right! The curtido was fairly standard (I just wished there was a little more of it) - and I wish the salsas were spicier (but I am also conscious that not every culture has spicy foods). I WILL be back, and I strongly encourage you to give them a try. --- Honestamente las mejores pupusas que e comido en un restaurante en el estado. Recomendadas!!
