We booked a couples massage and it was fantastic. My only complaint was that it was booked for 8:45 so we arrived at 8:30 (I've always been asked to arrive 15 minutes early). Turns out, the massage wasn't actually scheduled for 9, so we were there thirty minutes early. Not the worst thing, but just a blip in communication. We paired a hydro massage with a float and could not be happier. Hydromassage is a massage technique which uses water pressure and temperature to reduce muscle tension, improve blood flow, and reduce stress. You do not get wet. You sit in a chair that massages through it with water. You can increase pressure as needed and speed. Get at least a 1/2 hour in the chair. It goes by fast! After the chair we went right into our float pod. Float therapy involves "floating" in a Epsom salt water-filled sensory deprivation tank, known as a floatation or isolation tank. The goal of float therapy is to calm the mind and the body. REST is at the root of floatation therapy's efficacy. It stands for "restricted environmental stimulation therapy." You don't get the same relaxation in your home bath tub as you do in the tank. The experience is something everyone should try. This facility is a little older but they keep up on the maintenance well. It was clean, well lit and had a big parking lot right out front for everyone to have room to park! read more

I love massages. If I could have a day of doing whatever I wanted, I would do the following: 1. Go out for coffee and pancakes 2. 2 hour facial 3. Go out for a cocktail and sushi 4. 2 hour mani/pedi and foot massage 5. Go out for crab legs and dessert 6. 2 hour full body massage My mother in law gifted me a pregnancy massage for my birthday this year and I finally got to use it! She had heard great reviews about Salus from her nieces and they were not wrong! They only do phone call scheduling but it was fast and easy. They require a credit card and ample time for cancellation, otherwise you get charged, but who cancels a massage?! They have a huge shared parking lot in their strip (they're moving to a free standing location soon if not already), Miranda was an amazing masseuse. She was so nice but really did 'beat me up' like I asked her to! My pregnancy has been taxing on my body and I definitely needed a massage. Even though I love my therapist here, I can't recommend buying gift cards for Salus, as I have been screwed over more than once. The last time I brought in a gift card to use I was told the service would not be the length listed on the gift card, as they've shortened their sessions by 5 minutes per 1/2 hour, and they also lowered the value of my gift card because at the time of purchase their services were cheaper. Also, I called, emailed, and texted before their most recent price increase, leaving messages that I wanted to purchase a new package before costs went up, and (even though I've been a loyal customer for years) they refused to honor that. Not sure if my therapist had a bad day or what. On a deep tissue I fell asleep. I felt like she didn't want to wake me up. I've pet kittens harder than she did my arms. She started as a 10... but I'm not sure what happened. However, the salon was beautiful, and if you are a YELP user, there's lots of ways to get 20% discounts! Had my 1st massage ever today, it was wonderful. My daughter paid for me to have the 60 minute one for a early mothers day present. It was the perfect gift, I had Megan and she was great. Used just the exact right amount of pressure and made sure I was comfy at all all times. I will be going back again for sure. The salon was very nice, clean and smelled wonderful, My bed was heated which was perfect, and the hot towels were just the right temperature. I could find nothing wrong at all. The whole point of getting a massage is to take care of yourself. That's what the whole team at Salus does. The therapists will work with you to make sure they are taking care of you how you want. They regularly make sure they are addressing any concerns. I've had a few muscle spasms that previously needed to be treated with muscle relaxants but the staff at salus got rid of it with a good massage. I was in town for a business trip and found this spa while doing a Yelp search and was pleased with their reviews (as well as the prenatal massage table) I booked a 60min prenatal massage for myself and a deep-tissue massage for my co-worker; booked it 2 days prior and there was plenty of availability. The location was easy to find, esp. for us, out-of-towners. Upon us arriving, walked into a very clean establishment that smelled delightful. We were greeted by the receptionist who asked us to fill out a simple form. We only waited about 2 minutes before meeting our masseuses', who took the time to read the forms we filled out and walked us back to our rooms, I was asked about my trouble areas and gave me time to de-robe. I was assisted in lying on my stomach (which I haven't done in 4 months) and the table was adjusted for my pregger belly :) I felt very comfortable and for the first time fell asleep during my massage. I wish I could remember the gal's name who did my massage (I believe she was preggers as well) she had just the right amount of pressure and was very accommodating. Salus is a hidden gem! I was searching for a place for prenatal massage and I'm glad I was able to find Salus. My appointment was with Autumn and she did an amazing job. Salus actually has the prenatal tables with tummy cutouts so you can enjoy the massage laying on your stomach without hurting the baby. The price was unbelievable and it was very easy to get an appointment. They also gave me a coupon for my next massage! I will definitely be back before the baby comes. It was my weekend to treat myself and I thought what better way than to get a pregnancy massage. Overall, the massage was good -- pressure was just enough. The experience could have been better. At the start of the massage she asked too many personal questions about my life instead of asking how the pressure felt. I felt like I could not relax until she said "one last question." At the end of the session, while working on my neck and facing upward, she decided that it would be time for more conversation about my personal life and hers. When I am getting a massage, I do not want any conversation. I enjoy my peace and quiet, especially if I am paying for it. She mentioned warm towels before the massage and I did not get one at all. Even though she said it would be included. When it ended, she said that she would go and get a cup of water ready for me, and I had to ask her if it was time to get dressed. She didn't even assist in helping me get up -- and I am 7 months pregnant. By the time I walked to lobby, she asked me "if I wanted a cup of water." I thought she was going to have it ready for me? I do not recommend going to this place, I've been here a few times and had good experiences until I got a call on the 9th about me missing an appointment I did not setup. I called on the 8th searching for a time and decided not to come here since the times were to early. As I woke up in the morning I had an email saying that I was going to be billed for missing a time I did not schedule, and when I called back to speak to a manager she was completely rude. Called me back, accused me of lying, and said that I was going to be sent a bill anyway, for something I did not schedule.
