Placed the order on Saturday, and the site said it would be ready Saturday evening (I did this just to be safe, since Mother's Day was Sunday). When I went to pick up the book on Sunday, they said they were having issues with their printer and it wasn't doing the cover correctly, so the book wasn't ready. I expressed my dissatisfaction and asked if there's any way they could get the book done today as it was supposed to be ready yesterday and it is a gift for my mom. The woman working said I could come back in an hour and they'd have it done. I came back an hour later, waited (no exaggeration) 20 minutes at the photo counter for someone to help me, and the woman working the front checkout called for the photo associate 3-4 times on the intercom, she was nowhere to be found. Neither myself or the front checkout woman could find the book. When the photo associate finally showed up after 20 minutes, she located the photo book and I watched her look through it as she shook her head in disapproval. She didn't say anything to me, however, and proceeded to place the book in the packaging to ring me up. I asked if I could see the book and she gave it to me to look through. This is where I drew the line, the images were such poor quality, dark, and looked as if someone had put a filter over them. You could see the staples in the binding, and it was just an overall terrible quality book. I was astonished that she was going to let me pay for it after visibly disapproving of the product. I politely told her that I didn't want the book, appreciated her finding it, but I wasn't going to pay for that. I left the store with no photo book for my mom for Mother's Day :( I will not be using this location for my photo needs anymore, and am now skeptical of Walgreens overall for photo prints. Big thumbs down from me on this one.
