I came to Salt Me Halotherapy with some of my friends as part of an open event they had a while back. Along with salt caves, they have rooms dedicated toward other wellness services that are salt-treated like a sauna, lymphatic massager, red light therapy, and jade massage bed. Upon arriving, we were greeted by friendly staff who helped us out and introduced us to the different rooms and told us more about the health benefits of salt therapy which include anti-inflammatory and anti-respiratory effects. We then got to try out the different rooms: -The lymphatic massager was overall everyone's favorite. There's a small learning curve on how you can lean your body on the machine while it moves so that you can let it massage whichever body part you want. If you have any tense areas it's really good and it's easy to feel its effectiveness. -Jade massage bed is relaxing and passive. It has salt next to it and a salt lamp in the room and there were eye masks. You essentially lie down and let the massage bed work itself on you. -There are two red light rooms. One of them fits one person and you lie down on it but the other you can sit/stand and fit three people. We used the larger one. Even though you can fit three people, you'll all be sitting next to each other in a narrow area. The unique thing about this is that it's also salt-infused and we could taste the salt as it came ino the room. I'd bring a book, meditate or you can put on some music while you're in there. -Sauna has salt on walls. This is one of the nicest rooms visually and cleanliness wise. The room got really warm and hot and they had towels for you to dry off. They also provided water so you can stay hydrated -Lastly, the salt caves - these are the main highlight of Salt Me Halotherapy. The rooms are dark, but the design make you feel like you're at a beach. It's cool inside and salt is all over the floors and wall. We were told they change out the salt on the floor often (not sure about the walls) so hygiene doesn't seem to be an issue. There are a few salt rooms of different sizes so multiple people can be using them at once. It does feel therapeutic to sit inside and relax for a while. My friend said she felt some slight health benefits, but the next day she also said she felt really dehydrated and thinks it might be from the salt rooms. I had no issues myself. Lots of toys and entertainment for kids so it's great for working adults who need a day to treat themselves and there are monthly membership options for regulars. There are lockers in the back to put your stuff away. The customer service is really caring and nice which makes it feel like a premium experience. It's a small building with limited rooms. During the open event we also got to chat with some customers who were regulars and they were very passionate about the benefits that salt therapy has done for them (one person even mentioned that they keep a salt block in their car!). Honestly I'm still a little skeptical of salt therapy as I'm not sure if it's for everyone but it's worth trying out if you're not sure yourself! The idea makes sense, but it's hard to commit to going frequently unless you're local to the area or are going every day and want to have the supplementary wellness. I do like the other services like the sauna, lymphatic massager, and red light therapy. I kind of wonder if there would one day be a sort of day-pass experience where you can do all of the services in one day vs. booking individual services one-by-one because that might make for a nice spa day with a group. read more

Where do I even begin? I love it here! Salt Me is my little sanctuary away from home. I've been coming here for a while as a way to relax and get some self care in. I love sweating it out in the sauna and especially love coming in for a red light session when my muscles are sore from a hard workout. Sore muscles no more! I bring my daughter here with me to sit in the salt caves when she's trying to get over a cold. It helps clear congestion. The staff is amazing. They're more like family! I really enjoy coming to this place, the first session I ever did was a red light therapy with my mom and I instantly fell In love. When you walk in you are immediately transported to such a beautiful and calming place. The next time I came on Tuesday where they do two people and two sessions for $99. I like this option because I got to try the salt room and sauna, also my boyfriend was basically free. Because I had been fighting a cold a few days prior I was definitely waiting to see how the salt room would fix that . I was brought to this wonderful, small business by one of my very good friends who has a membership.. He speaks very highly of the staff and experience, and I was not disappointed!! Upon entering, I was greeted by Riley and a huge smile! She was extremely helpful and right away made me feel comfortable. I had never experienced a salt room or anything quite like this so I wasn't sure what to expect. She was very kind and showed me the restroom, robes and towels. I was lucky enough to experience everything that they have to offer! I started with a session in their sauna, it had beautiful Himalayan salt bricks as one of the walls. Then, after sweating it out in a beautifully clean sauna, I was taken to the salt room. Upon entering the salt room, I immediately felt calm. The room had a nice calming blue light, and you can truly feel the effects of the salt room immediately. After we were done with 45 minutes in the salt room, we then continued onto the infrared light therapy. The entire experience and day was absolutely excellent! I cannot say enough about the experience, the staff and this business! I have struggled with multiple sclerosis for over 14 years now, and I can say that this definitely will start to become part of my program of staying healthy, and the sleep after was amazing!!! I have been to other salt therapy facilities, but none quite like Salt Me Halotherapy. My sister and I bought the package that included the sauna with salt, the salt room and finished with red light therapy (which also included salt). All three were amazing! The inside was very cute and very clean! The staff were very friendly and took the time to explain everything to us. They do offer lockers and robes. Tip: bring a bathing suit to expose as much skin as possible to get the maximum benefits of the salt and bring water with you - they do not provide water and you will get thirsty. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Salt Me! I really liked the fact that I could go right onto the site and book an appointment at 6:30 am for a 9 am same day appointment. They sent confirmations which was nice. Beware. My toddler caught Hand Foot Mouth after playing with the toys. I hesitated writing this review bc I don't want to shame the business or scare off any parents from experiencing Halotherapy. Salt Me offers a relaxing and fun experience. They offer a great deal on Mondays ($25 per kid, parent is free). My friend and I enjoyed a playdate in their large salt room. Lots of toys to keep the littles entertained. The salt room is a cool experience. The next day, my little guy woke up with a high fever and proceeded to develop blisters around his mouth, then feet, then hands. Doctor confirmed it as HFM & recommended Calamine lotion and Tylenol. I called Salt Me them know, they said that they sanitize toys in between session. I'm not sure their procedure... but it makes sense since sick kids go there to cleanse their respiratory systems. Again, not here to shame the business. Just want to share my experience and give honest feedback. As an adult yes, I would enjoy this halotherapy experience. As a parent, maybe not during cold/flu season. read more

Everyone in our house is currently sick with whatever cough/cold/congestion that is going around. We have been trying every home remedy under the sun and salt room was recommended by another family currently battling colds. We were met with a very warm and friendly woman who explained the room to us and its benefits. She was being extremely patient with my overly excited 3 and 4 year olds who were bouncing off the walls. She took us back and we took off our socks and shoes and headed into the salt room. There were plenty of toys to keep my littles entertained and they pretended that the salt was snow. As we were in the room I could hear the congestion in my youngest kiddo starting to break up and I could feel it in myself too. The 45 minutes went by in a flash and we were once again greeted by the kind woman that led us into the salt room. My kids and I reserved a room to help them get rid of their sniffles and I have to say that this business is absolutely incredible! The lobby and all common areas are looked pristine and when we got into our room, the salt looked like perfect snow from a movie. The kids loved playing around with the toys and having fun with the salt as additional salt was being pumped into the room through the air. Finally a salt room in North OC! Took my little in due to having a runny nose, she had a blast! Salt rooms have been a go to with my littles because they just don't know how to blow their noses! The salt room dries things up naturally and helps with drying all the phlegm. I've been hearing about salt rooms and the positive benefits of them for many years. I didn't realize this location was so close to home! It's convenient (albeit the parking lot can get a little crowded) and SO reasonably priced! I took my son who is having some congestion and deals with chronic seasonal allergies. What a relaxing experience. You don't have to "do" anything but sit and reap the benefits for 45 minutes. The room was incredibly clean and although it was a small room, it felt roomy - I didn't feel closed in at all. The ceiling has a sky scene, there are ambient blue lights and you can listen to the provided noise machine with different sound options, use your phone, sleep, or have a good old fashioned conversation!
