I'll start with our Amazing service from Jennifer. She was so nice, gave Great recommendations and made sure we were well taken care of. For our appetizer, we had the yummy clam chowder and basket of fresh breads. I had the halibut over a bed of spinach and creamy mashed potatoes. The halibut was a good size of fish cooked perfectly. My husband had the salmon and said it was really good. Was not good on his stomach the whole rest of the night though, unfortunately. Finished with the yummy banana crème brûlée for dessert. Oh so Good! Would like to come back some time for lunch and get their fish and chips.

Celebrating birthday dinner. Food was great. Jane's service was exemplary. We had a wonderful time. Thank you

This restaurant is inside Harrah's casino. Like most fish restaurants, it is very noisy. It has a stronger than most fish places fishy smell. The service is friendly, but we must have gone at a busy time as it took a little while for our drinks and food. The seafood and chips dish was good, but not worth the cost. Same for the chicken pasta. I was still hungry. Dishes run $32-$60+.

Four stars for the food Three stars for the service I've been here on two separate occasions and each time the service was just okay. It could been better; this restaurant has potential. It's more so of the waiters/waitresses. The chef and his crew are awesome; they cook delicious meals. The waiters vibes are just off; I felt rushed every time I visited and have to get their attention for stuff. The first visit, it was not busy and the second time we went had a bigger crew with a few customers dining around us. My daughter really love their scallops and Rincon reservation road brewery fish and chips. Grilled scallops had ginger & nori dusted on them with lime aioli, scallions and Aleppo peppers. The Rincon reservation road brewery fish & shrimp were battered; came with hand cut fries and tartar sauce. The battered fish are HUGE!!! it's bigger than our hands, they are so good and crispy, cooked to perfection. Our whole family and friends love the Chef Selection artisan bread with whipped butter. My mother and I really like their homemade bread (it has walnuts in it); limited amounts they make in a day. Booo hooo. We love it that much! We asked for more but they ran out. So far I've had tried their New England clam chowder: it had diced clams, chopped potatoes with fresh herbs. It was good and hearty, great portion. Truffle Mac and cheese was made with house cheese blend, cavatappi pasta and truffle butter. Rated 8 out of 10; it was good. Baby bok choy was covered in mushroom soy butter and red chili flakes: rated 6 out of 10. It was decent. Shrimp fettuccine made with creamy Alfredo sauce and topped with garlic shrimp; it was good but not as good as The Cafe shrimp Alfredo fettuccine. I would rate it 7 out of 10. I also had the surf and turf. I was disappointed with the Angus New York steak (charbroiled 10oz steak with steak butter, smoked bacon Brussels sprouts, cowboy onions and red wine reduction) but the lemon butter lobster tail was delicious. Rated 7 out of 10; beautiful presentation of the surf & turf. The drinks on the first visit were strong, flavorful and good! Second visit: drinks tasted watered down and not so great. Location is great, it's in between the KJ Chinese restaurant and Hell's Kitchen. No bathroom inside the restaurant, you'll have to exit and go to the nearest restroom. The nearest restroom is near the TopGolf bar; to the left when you exit Salt & Fin. Overall hefty price for the service but food is worth it. Don't forget to get points but providing your Caesar's reward card along with ID. They also can use your points toward purchase.

It was our first time visiting Salt & Fin. The food and drinks were delicious. Our server, Jane, was very sweet and checked on us throughout the night to make sure everything was good. Definitely recommend trying their cocktails and the Grilled Salmon!

Celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary weekend and enjoyed ourselves with some good seafood. The staff unfortunately never congratulated us, but nevertheless, we had a good experience. Nice quiet table and the decor was really cool ocean themed. Will be returning o try more on the menu

This was my first time dining at Salt & Fin, which is inside of Harrah's Resort SoCal. I like the decor throughout the restaurant. Sandi and Bjonnie had wonderful customer service!! Very attentive. Very friendly. What we ordered: Fried Calamari Cherry Peppers, Lemon, Pickled Cucumber Ranch $17 Very crispy. Loved that it also had the tentacles. That Ranch sauce was so good!! We asked for more. Lemon flavor throughout. Pan-Seared Halibut Alaskan Halibut, Jasmine Rice, Baby Bok Choy, Thai Basil & Mango Salsa. $42 Halibut was cooked perfectly. Firm but flaky texture. The salsa is fantastic! The Baby Bok Choy had a bitter taste, so my friend couldn't eat it. Wonderful presentation! Grilled Spanish Octopus Japanese Chimichurri, Roasted Fingerling potatoes, grilled lemon $30 I was expecting more of a tender-yet-chewy texture but it was a little more tender than I would have liked. I love octopus and I like it to be a little firm. The Spanish Octopus is fattier and sweeter so I would have liked to taste a little more sweetness. It seemed like there was a little too much of a vinegar taste. I also would have liked a little spice. The Fingerling potatoes could have used a tad more salt. Wonderful presentation though. Banana Crème Brûlée Banana Custard, Caramelized sugar and fresh Berries $11 The Banana Custard was very creamy. The crunchy top could have been crunchier. It would have been an even better presentation if they blowtorched it at the table. But, I like that kind of thing lol My friend would have liked a regular custard instead of Banana custard. They have no restrooms in the restaurant so you'll have to find one in Harrah's.

Harrah's is my home casino so I've dined everywhere but this was my first time dining at Salt & Fin. Our server Jane was warm, welcoming and bubbly. She was personable and very attentive. The food was delicious and fresh. My wife who isn't big on seafood loved it too!

Jane was the best! We had the lobster bisque, scallops, bread basket, and chocolate ganache torte. The food was delicious and the service EXCELLENT!

Good dinner good service. Jane was our waiter and was very accommodating. I had the Malbec and the bread bowl. Food came in reasonable time and we left with full bellies.

We had the Filet mignon, spiced lamb chops, potato puree and Mac and cheese as well as starting with the bread platter and ending with the sticky toffee pudding. Both the lamb and filet mignon was cooked perfectly and they basically melted in your mouth. The potatoes were so smooth and delicious, and the mac and cheese was some of the best I've had. The sticky toffee pudding was something I was skeptical of, but it being chef Ramsay's specialty I was keen to try it and was happy I did, it was quite delicious and it's description of ingredients don't do the flavor justice, I would highly recommend anyone try it. Our server was George, and I am so happy we ended up with him as our server. He has a great personality and was happy to talk to us and joke with us over the course of dinner and was always prompt about our needs and to updating us on the status of our food. A member of the management by the name of Moona came around to talk to us and she was incredibly sweet and happy and eager to hear our feedback. The ambiance is exactly what you would expect of a restaurant by Gordon Ramsay. Modern, simple, but extremely nice. Overall I cannot recommend this restaurant enough to anyone who has their eye on this place. The food is an amazing experience and the staff work overtime to make the experience unforgettable.

Concerned that they were undercooked, I returned them and asked that they be remade. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, the staff took the burgers back and returned with the same patties, insisting they were not pink. Although the burgers came back hot, it appeared they had simply been placed back on the grill after we had already eaten from them. If that is what occurred, it is extremely unsanitary and unacceptable. The situation became even more disappointing when the manager was dismissive and treated me as though I was being dishonest. Rather than resolving the issue, she refused to issue a refund. At that point, I no longer wanted replacement food,I simply wanted my money back. Unfortunately, my family became sick after eating the undercooked burgers, making the entire experience even more concerning. Poor food safety, unprofessional customer service, and the refusal to take responsibility turned what should have been a simple lunch into a terrible experience. After many going back and forths with the manager she agreed to give me a refund. I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. First off, note that this isn't a traditional self-serve buffet. You have to order everything through a server, and you're capped at ordering 4 items at a time. The Highlights: Great Variety: Solid selection across both entrees and the desserts. The Standouts: Lobster tails, crab legs, and beef tenderloin. The crab legs were awesome, sweet and surprisingly not overly salty like most casino buffets. Pro-Tip: Skip the prime rib and go straight for the beef tenderloin. The Lowlights: The service was pretty atrocious. Getting food brought to the table was a battle, we dealt with forgotten items, servers disappearing for long stretches, and an overall persistent feeling of being rushed. Great food can only save a place so much when the actual dining experience is a constant headache. Hard to recommend until they fix the service.
