My steak, queso, Mexican slaw bowl with egg

Was in town for lunch with my husband and decided to try Salsaroja. We were greeted and picked a nice spot near the front window. We were welcomed by Tina our server and shown the 2 menus, specials and build your own. We placed our order on the paper and it was ready so quickly! I had a build your own with their wonderful Mexican slaw, steak, cheese and I added an egg. It was amazing! Such great flavors and the portion was just enough for lunch! My husband had the El Loco and it did not disappoint! The mushrooms and beans blended so nicely. The environment was so comfortable and the let me just say the playlist was o. Point. Hubby even pointed it out a few times, classic rock mixed with current underground, it was perfection! Will definitely be back!!!

The tacos here are fabulous. You can taste the meat and it is delicious. Lots of choices and yummy Wish we had ordered more! The waitress was A1

Lime shrimp (left) and El Pastor (Right), each on a flour tortilla, with cilantro/onions, jalapeños, sour cream, and Pico.

Decided to come in with my Dad while he was visiting Wooster. Ordering was a bit confusing as you had to write it down on a slip, and to order multiple tacos you had to fill out multiple slips. I felt like I was taking a test. However to be fair, this was just after the Covid-19 pandemic, and this may have been a precautionary step to help protect the community. As this was my first time I tried multiple taco meats and was not let down. Three tacos was the perfect meal, and each one was fantastic. We will definitely be returning. My only suggestion (assuming ordering was because of the coronavirus) would be to have a taco Tuesday where tacos are half off.

Best tacos, cocktails, and service in Wooster. We are from Colorado, and we are proud "regulars". Easily our favorite spot in downtown.

Went back. My mistake. Charging for chips? That's a first for a Mexican style restaurant. Rent most be high.

First time stopping in to JAFB…read more I am impressed! One bartender serving everyone - and the dude was fast. No time wasted. It's large, several tables - we were able to play some card games while we drank. A nice spot, clearly?l, to come with friends. The important part - their beers were all solid. I have had a couple of their beers in the past, but at Land Grant's Oktoberfest my friend kept bringing me their Cold IPA (I was pouring for Sierra Nevada) - my girlfriend - who grew up in Wooster - ended up pouring JAFB. I believe the brewer Josh was at Oktoberfest, too! Plain and simple? It's a good damn brewery. I look forward to coming back in the future.

It certainly isn't the breweries themselves here but more of the locale. And I am trying to say that with as much diplomacy as I can. One of the latest breweries I tried from The Buckeye State was JAFB Wooster Brewery. Steve and I had the Vienna Lager called the 90 Foot To Vienna. I do like lagers and this type is fairly high on my list on fondness for lager types. Flavors to detect and have fun with here are biscuity, grainy, malty, some honey can be noticed and a clean aftertaste. All in all a very pleasant lager to have as the temps crank up outside for the summer.

We arrived 1530, as they open at 1500 believe we were the only people in the house besides staff. Blake was our server. Must say that he did a terrific job taking care of us. There was a couple moments where it seemed like the bar service was holding him back, but we did not down check him for that. We decided on cocktails, a pickletini for me and mom ordered a tropical paradise. We also ordered an appetizer of spinach, artichoke dip at the same time. Blake brought our appetizer and apologized that our bar order was not ready yet. In fact, we were over halfway through our appetizer before our drinks arrived. Not Blake's fault, but the bartender was not doing him any favors. For our main course, mom decided on soup and salad, their seafood bisque and bistro salad. My wife decided on the lemon chicken with a Caesar salad while I decided on the petite filet Oscar style with loaded mashed potatoes. I ordered a glass of Austin Hope Cabernet Sauvignon to go with my steak. It took a while for our dinner to come out of the kitchen, that said it was well presented and perfectly cooked! My steak was a perfect medium rare and I was happy that there was asparagus with my Oscar Style! My wife really enjoyed her lemon chicken and sautéed vegetables. I tried bites of both and they were absolutely delicious! My mom raved about all of the seafood in the bisque. She also ate all of the salad which surprise us. We are happy to set in the far dining room at a four top. We really enjoyed the paintings on the wall as well as the staged photograph of The Restaurant. Must say that this was our best dining experience at this restaurant! Blake was a good part of it, but the food was as well. Keep up the great work!
