I always have to be honest with the experience. I was so hungry and it is 3:33pm now. I won't return even if they accept EBT here. The pupusas were a bean and cheese that was slightly bigger than the special they had with the smaller pupusa that was a revuelta. I paid $1.79 for the slightly smaller and the larger one was $3. I wouldn't have the revuelta anymore. Looks like they put all ingredients for that one in a blender and stuck it in the pupusa. The larger one was thin and if it wasn't for the curtido which is the cabbage in vinegar and the salsa, I would've rated this place lower stars. I wouldn't eat the pupusa alone by itself with no cabbage. The customer service wasn't that good. I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. The girls weren't smiling and looking at me up and down. It's okay, they just don't want me or my family and friends to visit here. Lots of seating area. I was inside for almost an hour and only 2 people came in. Not too busy. I see why. I've ordered their breakfast plate El Salsabor #1 that comes with carne asada, avocado, rice/beans, eggs, and cheese. Love this place. I stay 2 minutes away, and come often, but not as much as I would like. The food is really good. I mainly order the Hamburger with Fries add cheese, mayo, and fried egg, or the Mojarra Frita. I've had a few other items on the menu but those are my go-to. Being in the restaurant business I must say I really do enjoy coming here. Not-ever dine in but one day yes. The food here is amazing. In particular, their breakfast plates are good. I come here often with my parents. However, I went with my parents recently and the service was horrible. The waitresses are not very welcoming. They seem to have regular male customers who they serve promptly and flirt with. I ordered a dish and asked for sour cream, she brought it out and forgot the sour cream so we asked for some on the side. We waited and waited. The entire time, we could see her flirting with men outside and she even came back in to get sugar for their coffee and then went back out to hand it to them and talk. My food was getting cold so my dad went up to ask for some and she said "right your sour cream!" At this point, my dad said "forget it keep working I'll ask someone else bc you forget" (admittedly, he could've been kinder) but he was frustrated. After this interaction, she brought the sour cream and then never came back. She sent a cook and another waitress to follow up with us. We felt like staff was staring at us for being rude yet we waited and waited for a very long time. We've also been customers for a long time and have always been respectful and tipped well. It was such odd behavior and we felt uncomfortable. Please consider ordering take out. I've read multiple reviews and yes it's true, they're flirty and inappropriate with some customers and dismissive with others. I've only been here for the pupusas, but I have to say these are yummy and they are very filling. These pupusas are big compared to many other pupusas I've at other places. They are cheesy and gooey and the dough is just the right amount of crispy and soft. I will admit that picking up for takeout will make them a little soggy like any other food being steamed after being cooked. The service, again mine is a takeout experience so I can't speak to their sit-down service. The takeout service seems a little disorganized but you do get your food when it's ready. I came across this restaurant and decided to try it out. It smelled amazing outside, so I figured the food was yummy. Upon entering it felt very stuffy and slightly hot, but I didn't mind it too much because I was going to place my order and wait outside. I ordered pupusas revueltas and pupusas de queso con camarón. We ran into this spot looking for a place to order our company's lunch from. We found a flyer with their specials on them but the flyers arent too specific on their " rules" on special prices. Also they take EBT if you're in the hot meals program. One of the best places I've been that takes EBT. Dead Roaches In Food..!! And we still had to pay for it, with No Apology. Terrible Customer Service. We stopped by to get a bite to eat, and noticed a Large Dead Roach inside the food. I almost threw up, it was so gross. When we complained, we were not offered anything other than to be told that we need to finish the food.
