Fiesta Taco - Al pastor Green wet burrito

My new favorite Mexican restaurant in Palm Desert. We had the chili gueritoa (shrimp) tiger and…read moreempanadas. Wow! The chili shrimp was overstuffed and enough for dinner. The wine was generously poured. We're coming back!

Fiesta Taco is located in the food court of Morongo Resort and Casino right off the casino floor in…read morethe center of the main tower. I had the combo plate for $16 which includes a small drink to go along with your choice of protein (I got the pork al pastor), refried beans, and seasoned rice. You have your choice of toppings, which in my pics is hiding the al pastor unfortunately! Good selection of toppings, your choice of 3 different salsas which are packaged as shown. The taste of the pork was pretty good and the amount given was generous. The refried beans and rice were pretty typical - nothing special. The corn tortillas that come with the combo plate are very small, so it's not like you can make soft tacos with them and use up any more than maybe 10% of the plate - it's fine, but more of an afterthought than a stack of tortillas you might find with a fajita dish typically. Luckily, nothing here was over seasoned or extra salty - it just tasted overall pretty good even if it's not the level that you'd go out of your way to go there. Given it's in a casino and could be exorbitantly priced, the value for what you get is pretty good! Out of the various options here in the food court, this personally would probably be in the top half, but not the top.

Came on a Saturday night for dinner, and they have self-serve kiosk options to select a dining time…read more+ pay. Super easy to get a ticket, also they had PLENTY of dining times available. We thought we'd have to wait hours, but arriving at 6:35 PM, and the next dining time was 7 PM. Since there was no line to get in, we saw people go up to the servers, show the 7 PM ticket at 6:40 PM, and were quickly seated anyways. Price: $48 per person. Drinks included. Parking free. I lived in Vegas for a few years, tried most of the buffets (Bacchanal, Wicked Spoon, Wynn, etc.), and gotta say. THIS BUFFET IS PROBABLY ONE OF THE MOST ENJOYABLE BUFFET EXPERIENCES I'VE HAD. SO GOOD! 100% RECOMMEND. Why? - Price point is reasonable considering the quality of food. - Food Quality is LEGIT! Almost every item we ordered was actually delicious. Other buffets I'm used to wide variety but mediocre dishes. Each dish at this spot was legit GOOD. - Each item tasted almost as something I would willingly order at a restaurant, and enjoy - Concept is fun and refreshing. Each "station" having their set menu, with food prepped to order. I initially thought we'd have to wait a while, but we never waited more than 5 minutes in a line - Free parking. Drinks included. - Dessert was FANTASTIC Overall, 100% worth it. Not sure of the poor reviews and overall under 4 star rating, but to me this buffet is a 5/5 spot. So good. Anytime passing through Palm Springs in the future, absolutely going to stop by. Great job, Marketplace and Morongo, keep up the good work, and keep this spot fresh!

We recently tried BKK 78 Street Food in Cabazon while shopping at the outlets because we saw all…read morethe vendors set up in the middle and thought it looked fun and unique! It definitely has a cool street-food vibe with different food options to choose from. Prices were about food-court range (around $12-$18 per plate). I ordered the beef pad Thai, but sadly it was pretty dry and didn't hit my Thai food craving . I also asked for lime (because pad Thai NEEDS lime ‍ lol) and they didn't have any available. One thing to note: the portions come on very small brown plates and honestly felt more like sampler sizes than full meals. Seating is also limited. There isn't much space right by the vendors, and you have to walk a few feet away to find just a few tables and chairs. They do offer other foods besides Thai (some street-food style and Asian-inspired options), so there's variety if you're with a group Overall, cute concept and convenient while shopping, but portion size, dryness, and seating made it a little underwhelming for us

Everything was not authentic at all- ingredients used for these traditional thai dishes were not correct & the flavors were disgusting for the beef boat soup, mama noodle plate, & beef thai rice with two iced thai teas. Mind you it was all $97! Insane, this isnt a restaurant either! You sit outside with the flies and I guess they even knew how gross it was too. We would not reccommend- we had to throw it away after 3 bites. You would think for these prices were at a restaurant. So either theyre making up for having rent at the outlets or something. It was actually so insane and we shouldve also checked the yelp reviews like Jennifer said as well. I agree with her and it is true theres a reason why they dont show the prices on their trucks and I assume not until you ask for a paper menu I assume? Also likeeee HOW DO YOU MESS UP THAI TEAS?! They were so bad & the only thing was correct about all of that was the color of the Thai tea. The flavor entitrely off- do not reccommend in general!
