I like this café chain because you can build your own bowl and choose exactly what you want. It's a convenient and customizable option for a quick meal. Everything today was fresh and hot, and overall quite tasty. The only downside for me was that the food was pretty spicy. I understand that Chipotle Mexican Grill is a Mexican-style restaurant and the flavors are meant to have some heat, but it would be nice to have more mild options for people who don't enjoy spicy food. When we visited, one employee was serving customers and another was restocking the counter, so a line started to form. On weekends it might be helpful to have a few more staff members working. The lady who served my burrito gave me the smallest amount of rice like i'm not even exaggerating. I had to ask for more rice and it still wasn't a normal amount, you can see how skinny my burrito is.. She also put a small amount of salsa and small portions of everything else that my burrito had no salsa. I used to eat at Chipotle all the time when I was in college. Like. All. The. Time! It's not even an exaggeration! Lol. I hadn't had it in such a loonnnggg time until today. It was yummy! YUM-eeeeee. I was starving and my first bite was the most amazing bite .... Shopping can really work up an appetite and Chipotle really hit the spot!! The Cabazon Outlets don't have that many good options to choose from when it comes to food, IMO, so when we saw Chipotle ... it was already settled we were going to go there. Arrived after a long day at 9:40pm to enjoy some food. They were out of most options and only had carnitas. Apparently, closing in 20 minutes meant no food. I walked to In-N-Out and had a delicious meal. Someone asked there if they could heat up his Chipotle burrito because it was cold. (They couldn't but said the gas station had a microwave.) I went to Jersey Mikes next door but left because the service was extremely slow and inattentive and the workers seemed unhappy. After an interminable wait I decided to go next door to Chipotles. What a difference! The staff were cheerful and engaged and attentive. I watched them closely. They interacted well as a team, and the first person was a real pro. She smiled and had a great personality, and passed my order onto an equally efficient cheerful person. I believe that the people preparing the food imbued it with some of their cheerfulness and it was very good. I live in Banning, but I drive a few extra miles to this Chipotle in Cabazon. Why? Because in Banning there is the " Taco Witch " who insists on verifying your ID in order ti pick up your food. NO other Chipotle does this. Cabazon is also much cleaner and more professional too. Last time in Banning there was a used feces filled rolled up disposable diaper on a table just sitting there stinking the place up horribly. I was pleasantly surprised by my recent visit to this location on a Thursday at around 9:30p. What I expected was a slightly grungy location where workers were "wrapping up" for the evening ... What I experienced was a super warm greeting by lovely, smiling employees, fresh food and crisp veggies, clean, brightly lit location, immaculately clean bathroom, and parking that was close to the door. Who knew that this Chipotle on the outskirts of Cabazon / Morongo was so well run?! It was terrific and may become a regular, healthy food pit stop between LA and Palm Springs. read more

A few things. I decided to go around and hit up some local go to spots here in cabazon. I decided to give one more chance to the locations that have not been working up to health code and regulation standards and sanitary needs for the establishment. The food here again is always great during the day. The managers know what they are doing. I returned yesterday to see Damien still works as a manager at this location. First look was at my vegan protein called sofritas. Previously it was cold and had been sitting awhile. I'm this case there was a little left and they flattened it out to make it look like it was ok but when you look at all the food In the current photos you will see nothing looks good. If some things do look good you have to wonder if it was cross contaminated on dirty surfaces or meat or chemical. I didn't notice any ambience again. The second thing I did was use the restroom as I never have. The photo of how unkept the bathroom is shows the lack of cleaning. They did have healthy soap available but is this what I want my experience to be when using the restroom. I won't be returning at all as long as Damien is running the shift. I usually give people a lot of room to improve and I try things more than once but in this case there is no change in behavior here during this shift and the co workers follow lead like it's normal and healthy when it is not! Today my Review is honest. I give the 5 stars for the early to day shift and and the two star for the evening simply because corporate at this location should not let this continue to occur. Also as you can see I have received a generic automated response with another link in which I can't tap on below. That tells me managers don't want to deal with it and offer resolution. I'm not going to waste more time and energy to follow up. I will now be taking my business elsewhere. read more

This location had giant windows for natural sunlight and high ceilings, which I liked. I got the half steak/half chicken bowl with tortilla and the food was good. On our way to joshua Tree, National Park and pioneertown Preserve, and of course, we stopped by good old Chipotle. Like always, we get the usual chicken bowl and the sofritas salad, and to no suprize, it's just good each time. The guy serving around 1:30, I believe , Xanuel was super friendly and generous with the portions. The store looked pretty clean despite being packed when we got there. Overall, the amount of friendliness and food consistency has led to us coming back each time we head out they also have two gender neutral restrooms, which were pretty clean except no toilet paper and soap on one. Expect to see us soon again We need more people like Xanuel! read more

This place offers great hospitality/customer service,very clean store and food was very delicious and tasty so yeah I think I would definitely be back and I would recommend anyone in area especially if you love chipotle but I think the main reason I would be back is how friendly everyone was and the portion sizes was pretty good and upon asking for double meat they confirm that it would be "alittle" extra before serving which I thought was neat. My son, my wife and I ate here today and my son had not been to a chipotle in a while. He ordered a burrito bowl (they were out of flour tortillas by the way) and he got bright red sauce not knowing how spicy it was. He ate around 1/3 of the bowl and couldn't eat any more due to spiciness. He let others at the table try a bite/scoop to see how spicy it was. I thought it was very hot and I like spicy. He attempted to see if they would replace at least half the bowl since he couldn't eat it. Manager Cynthia said no. It was not possible to replace anything since it was partially eaten already. I asked if she could just replace half so he could at least have something to eat. She said it was not possible and how could she ring up a replacement for half a bowl. Terrible customer service. We will not be returning to this location and most likely to the chain altogether for a long while, if ever. read more

I would not recommend this location. I ordered a bowl with half chicken, half barbacoa. The portion size of barbacoa was about 1 oz which I pay extra for and the chicken had 5 pieces. They wanted to double charge me to add more meat. I have visited 20+ Chipotle locations and this one gives about half the protein of other locations.
