Bruschetta
Terry M.

Just ordered Sals Pizza our bruschetta was terrible, the bread was barely toasted and the tomatoes weren't even on The bread it was just bad. The garlic knots are hard on the top just wasn't great. I don't know who is cooking tonight but it's just not that great. We have had better from them.

"Large" calzone

I don't usually do this but I had to in this case. I ordered a "large" calzone with a few extras. It cost $30 dollars. It gets delivered and a cut a piece at the end it was all bread no filling I cut some more all bread. At least a 3rd of this "large" calzone was just bread. I've included a picture. I've always thought the food was good but I'm done now. 30 dollars for this?!! No thanks.

Our exceptional entertainers!!

We stopped here since I am familiar with the Sal's pizza chain in New England. Didn't find out if they're related. Our calzone was very good. The unexpected entertainment was very good. They made our visit much more fun.

Not an authentic Chicago style pizza but it was still good to eat and the Grilled Caesar Salad was okay too.

Zero flavor. If I closed my eyes, I wouldn't know I was eating pizza or what kind. Truly bad or more accurately tasteless.

Food, service & ambiance were all outstanding. Highly recommend for that special dinner.read more

This restaurant is by far overrated. The ambiance is very dark when you go in with piano music…read moreplaying. The host were rude and didn't have a warm welcome upon arrival. We were seated in the back room for a birthday dinner celebration. The room was extremely dark and we couldn't turn on the other lights because it was connected to the most dustiest ceiling fans that had at least 1/4 of an inch thick of dust. The woman who was coming in and out of the room to pour water in the water glasses had an attitude like she didn't want to be there. I asked her a question about the menu and she very dryly told me "you can't order that unless you are on the other side" then walked away. That's when I was inquiring about the bistro menu. At that point I knew I wasn't going to be able to eat anything there due to their lack of plant based items or even easily adjustable items so I just ate the bruschetta. However when we placed the order for the bruschetta it never came out. So once we asked about it, it was then comped and brought out. Our waiter was very irritated and annoyed it seemed with the large party he had to tend to but his assistant which was a younger more personable guy was way more pleasant to be around. The cost point for the food was beyond the taste and size of the portions. When I asked about kid options, the waiter told me he could have the chef make a kids steak or chicken tenders and fries. It was my mistake for not asking for the price since I assumed it was a kids portion. Granted the tiniest steak did come out I still had to pay over $24 which I would have purchased the regular adult size if that was the case. So some clarity on the menu options for the kids would have been greatly appreciated. I can go on and on about this place but ultimately I would recommend not to go here unless you don't care about customer service or price points. Upon leaving the family event, and getting home I then realized my debit card was never returned to me by our gracious waiter. So once we returned to retrieve the card another day we were greeted with the rudest and most annoyed individuals at the host station. Needless to say we will never ever return.

The lasagna and the hot honey pizza were both flavorful and clearly made with care. We really enjoyed the quality of the dishes. When we arrived, an older gentleman working inside kindly let us know that outside drinks were not allowed. We completely understood. Living in Florida, we carry steel water bottles everywhere because of the heat, but rules are rules. We purchased water with our meal without any issue. We decided to sit outside and the same gentleman even brought our plates and everything out to us, which we appreciated. However, shortly after, a man we believe was a cook came out of the kitchen and began scolding us for having our water bottles on the table. We explained that we understood the rule and had purchased water. He responded that "the appearance isn't good." I started to move the bottles to the ground when he became more aggressive and said they could not be there at all unless they were for a child. My husband got up to take them to the car. While this was happening, another man walked in carrying a bright pink sparkling sippy cup for his daughter who appeared to be under two years old. The same employee stopped him and asked if the cup was for him or the child. I think it was pretty obvious the pink sippy cup wasn't for the adult. The interaction felt unnecessarily rude and uncomfortable. Had we not already paid for our meal, we would have left. It's a shame, because the food itself was good, but the way we were treated made the experience one we won't repeat.

This was my first time visiting Carrabba's... despite some of the reviews, I enjoyed my time here…read more The service was great, quick and efficient. My server Kaleb was really great and informative, although a really busy day for a Wednesday he was on point. On to the food -- I ordered the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer to start which were crispy, well seasoned & definitely HOT (cheese PULLLL) lol Next the classic trio because I wanted to try their chicken parm and their Alfredo. Both were really good, I would say the Alfredo lacked a little bit of sauce but that's just personal preference. My meal came with a side, I chose the chicken soup.. it was GOOD but very heavy seasoning which made it somewhat spicy, so I did not finish it. ( Kaleb did try to offer me something else which I appreciated however I passed on the offer.) I tried the Caesar salad and that was good and fresh. Almost forgot to mention the warm bread for the table was sooooo good! Lol ( I know you're thinking it's just bread?) but it was freshly baked, and the olive oil with seasoning was a perfect touch. Not pictured* since it was my first time they gave me a complimentary free dessert. I chose the strawberry cheesecake, which was fluffy, creamy and tasted really good. Not too sweet. I would definitely return back.

The packaging allowed for placing the entries in the oven on warm until we were ready to serve. The portions were as advertised and we had plenty for our group. All were pleased with the quality. I expected that we will use these folks again for our next large party.

Beautiful location, great drinks, average food…read more I wanted to love this place. It has great Yelp reviews and is located right on the water. The drinks were very good, service was super friendly, it was the food that fell short. Here's what we got and what we thought. My husband started with the harborside margarita, which was great. He then decided to get a fishbowl margarita. It's 52 oz so it's huge. It was only $15 which was stunning for that amount. He couldn't finish it and left about 1/3. I got a watermelon smash. It has a good amount of alcohol and was delicious. I'd probably branch out and try something else, but it was pretty good. For food we started with the meatballs. It's all beef and was the highlight of the meal. The kids loved the bread it came with. I got a lobster roll and found it had too much dressing to let the lobster shine. It was $30 and disappointing. The coleslaw was ok. My husband got a filet with a Caesar salad. The Caesar salad also had too much dressing. The filet was ok. I didn't love it but our younger son did eat a bit. My older son got the French bread pizza with fries and didn't like the pizza. I wasn't a fan either, the cheese tasted pretty meh to me. He ate some of the fries. Overall this place is great for the atmosphere but I don't think we'll be back soon because of the food.
