The pizza and garlic knots were excellent. The service was good and friendly. The restaurant is clean and inviting.

Since my initial review we have eaten Pizza Brothers pizza twice more. The last time, 2 weeks ago, we ate on site in lieu of take out. We ordered the Philly Steak pizza (our favorite from here), a salad to split, their house made meatball appetizer and some chicken wings. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, was again fresh and DELICIOUS! The pizza - as noted is our favorite with the medley of flavors. The salad - fresh, crisp and enough for two to share. The chicken wings - messy, but good. And the meatballs - FANTASTIC! The better half, who is a great cook in her own right, ordered these and has dreamed about them since. I was "allowed" to sample a piece and I concurred with her approval! The young lady that served us was very amicable and thorough. We ate in the covered patio area, where nobody else was seated, and the employees (waitress and owner(?)) made it comfortable for us. We had moved out into this room as the bench seats inside the main dining area, at the table we initially sat at were terrible. The springs were literally about to pop through the seat material and were uncomfortable on the ass. That really, until we relocated, is the only negative aspect of the place, which can't justify any star removals; as the food and service were (are) top notch! read more

short response-eat there! Longer response-it was clean and odor free. The bathroom could use some updating but it had the essentials-soap, paper towels, a sink and toilet. The service was super friendly The food was quite good! The fries are skinny like md's They weren't overly salty nor greasy and they were good. The ham sandwich was great, not soggy and had plenty of meat and cheese. The gnocchi-excellent. Perfectly cooked. Not too tender and not underdone. I asked for it with Alfredo sauce as opposed to the red sauce on the menu. They were happy to fix it that way. The salad was big and pretty-I know, not really a determining factor but I thought it was pretty and not just thrown together like some places do and the pizza was good-not too greasy. Not too dough-y. Not too thin and not too thick-Just perfect. I plan on eating here many more times. There were two televisions that I saw inside that were on a cooking channel. We're on a quest to find our favorite pizza and that led us here. The pizza tasted good, but I found the crust to be tough and slightly too chewy. Service was fast and attentive without being overbearing. The interior was...sorry to say...messy. The table was clean and I wasn't concerned about sanitation, bit it just wasn't tidy. For being in Auburndale, this is a good choice and it stays on our list. read more

Its a small place that doesn't have a lot of seating. I ordered two pizza from here. Pizza was very flavorful and reminded me of New York pizza. They have 18" pizza here which is what I got. The pizza stands out from chain pizza places I normally eat at. The price is good for the fact that you're getting a more authentic pizza rather than a clone copy from a chain. They were cooked well and had the right crisp and give to fold. Cheese had the oil on top. Overall very pleased with the tasty pizza and the uniqueness of this place and I will be visiting again. read more

Pizza is NY style and has a crispy crust! They also serve certain pies by the slice. The buffalo wings and cheesesteak are also worth trying. The wings are breaded and absorb the buttery buffalo sauce well. The cheesesteak with cheese whiz and onions is well rounded for a pizza spot but is loaded with flavor. Be sure to get an order of garlic knots as well! read more

Omgoodness!!!! We had some time to kill and was hungry and ended up here. What a great place. EVERYTHING we ordered was amazing and so tasty. It all came out hot and you can definitely tell it's fresh and handmade. Not that frozen or processed taste. We got, salad with the house Italian dressing, 12 wings, garlic knots, meat lovers pizza and a pasta that had potato noodle thing. I wanted to try that as I never had before. And when I say EVERYTHING was good it was. We have had a terrible time finding good pizza and pasta here since moving but this place is the best and the workers, we're so personable. Made you feel like they knew you, chatted with you and very attentive. Loved the small cozy inside. Not big at all and we loved that!!! We live in Davenport but will definitely make the drive to come here more!!!! read more

I ordered a small pizza for take out. Good NY style pizza which is hard to find in Florida. Small seating area. Average pizza shop vibe. I would return and opt to do takeout. Minimal lighting outside at night. Small staff and everyone seems to have there own job to do. I did wait about 5 min after entering without being acknowledged until the front of house guy was free. Incredible! I travel a lot, and we've been in this area in Florida trying all the pizza restaurants. This is a little homey restaurant, but we've been back here 3 times now. We've gotten the garlic knots but it's the pizza that is the star. We usually get half pepperoni and half just cheese, ordering extra cheese and well done. The cheese alone is delicious with a good salty NY style taste, and man that was a lot of cheese. The sauce is outstanding, and the pepperoni is great. No extra costs for a bowl of dipping pizza sauce, and they're super friendly when you come in thru the time you leave. Wow, great pizza!!! Amazing! Have been going there since they opened about a year ago. What I love is that they are constantly improving! Their pizza is the best I've ever had. I could write an essay, but you need to try for yourself. Their pastas and wings are to die for and very filling. Great portions and prices are good too. My family of four dined inside and ordered an 18 inch pepperoni pizza and mozzarella sticks. We were greeted right away by Dante. He took our order right away and didn't keep us waiting on anything. He was quick on refills, everything tasted fresh. Price was on par. We will definitely be back. 10/10 read more

I had a decent first experience with Pizza Brothers in Auburndale. They opened in February after many years as "Angelo's" at the Lakeland Mall. They tweaked some recipes, continue to be family owned with hard-working, dedicated employees. I was surprised to see staff arrived only 5 min. prior to opening, thinking there must be more prep than that! It did smell like gas rather than pizza the first bit. They have a large menu of both pizza and typical Italian salads, sandwiches, pasta dishes etc. The general price was in the $15 range. Saw some online views glowing about their NY style pizza but also enjoying the marinara sauce on things like eggplant parm. I started with their pizza, ordering a 5 topping thin crust. (They also make Sicilian, thicker crust pizzas. Didn't notice if they have a cauliflower crust for GF. Sorry) Though I was first in, several got their orders before I did--thinking maybe they called it in? It looked like they had pre-made cheese pizzas and seemed like they were adding the requested toppings as orders came in. Food was up within 30 minutes. Place was clean, people were friendly. Coke products were generally "flat" tasting, choose bottles if given the opp. They were out of some of the desserts which are not made in house. Very little cheese on the pizza but the overall flavor was delicious. Not the kinda pizza where you want to eat the whole crust. Left the edges behind. I do want to return and try some of the pasta dishes. Has a parking lot and street parking. Currently the only pizza in town! read more

The sauce! It's the sauce! Can you tell I loved the pizza sauce,. I also loved the crust and the veggies fresh and crisp. This is definitely my new favorite pizza! The owners are friendly and our server was wonderful and attentive. Will be back very soon! read more
