    Beautiful place settings.

I went in last week to pick up an order I placed online, pappardelle bolognese. Immediately upon entering the beautiful aromas of fresh sauce on a slow simmers hits you, and to me is reminiscent of home. The private event dining room table you walk past is perfectly set, awaiting its next party. The lush greenery that lines the windows, and fills the corners makes the shop that much more inviting -- as if the smell alone isn't enough. As you walk towards the To-Go case where you'll find your pick-up order, you can find Chef Nic to the right in his Pasta Corner, kneading, rolling, cutting, and hanging the freshest pasta you'll find around here without making it at home. While I was in the shop my pasta was actually being made and sealed as we were casually speaking about how Pasta Packs got started, that's how fresh this is. The sauce selection for my meal was still warm to the touch. The kit comes with everything you need, fresh pasta, sauce, and cheese. The packaging is adorned with a QR code that brings up the at-home cooking instructions for your exact selection, and you even have the option to include a fresh salad, or bread with the kit as well. This was such an incredible experience for me, from the shop to the final product at home. I can't wait to return and try all of Chef's different varieties he makes! We entered and checked in at the host of stand and regretted promptly and sat right away for our reservation at 5:30. Our server Nicole was extremely pleasant and gave us absolutely fantastic recommendations. They have happy hour on food and drinks until 6 PM which we were unaware of as well before we made the reservation. It was a very pleasant surprise. The happy hour is not only on drinks but full sized menu items that include appetizers and entrees as well as drinks. We took advantage of the situation in order our cocktails before 6 o'clock. I opted to start with the lemon cello apeol spritz and ended with the pistachio espresso martini. That may have been one of the best espresso martinis I've ever tasted it in my life and I've been to Italy to drink them! When I say do not pass up on the trio of dip for the focaccia bread- OMG-this sounds like such a simple appetizer, but it is done with precision and elegance, and the dips are absolutely amazing. We did take most of the bread home and put it in the air fryer the next day it holds up to a restaurant quality standard. We also ordered the chicken Parmesan and the meatball sliders. I will say the chicken Parmesan sliders for exceeded the meatball sliders. The meatballs needed a tad bit more seasoning for my liking. Because her eyes are bigger than our stomachs, we ordered three entrées between the two of us . The carpe de Pepe pasta, the margarita pizza, and the Sweet Jamie Kay pizza. When ordering pizza you have two options to get fluffy area dough or a thin crisp dough we chose both pizzas to be fluffy and airy type. The pasta was served al denti which is not my favorite, but nothing was wrong with the dish. The sweet Jamie Kay pizza was absolutely mouthwatering. The slight drizzle of honey paired with a type of meat on top of the pizza makes me want it every day. We had plenty leftovers to eat lunch the next day . Taylor was stellar in her service and the ambience of the restaurant was very authentic.

While we don't typically mind being seated near people, these girls we're particularly excited and louder sharing stories etc and I was having trouble hearing my own thoughts of what to order so we requested a different table and were graciously sat outside instead. We had a much better experience for the rest of the meal. Food-wise, we ended up sharing a simple cheese pizza with some meatballs and some rigatoni pasta with the garlic sauce. We also had to get the famous 100 year old yeast made sourdough which was amazing! Loved the pizza with some ricotta on top. Meatballs were juicy and pasta had a subtle cheese taste that wasn't too heavy. Tried out the pistachio gelato as well, wasn't quite the flavor we enjoy but the creaminess was very quality. Will be back to try out brunch.

A week before they called to confirm again and thank me for making a reservation. We arrive at our time an only had to wait about 5 minutes before being seated. We were greeted quickly and brought waters. We ordered a red Italian wine recommended by our waiter, which was delicious! They had a specific menu for Valentine's Day so we ordered the succotini (not sure on spelling here) but omg this appetizer is to die for. Think honey, pear, cheese and pasta all in one. So yum. Next we had chicken genovese and chicken piccata. Served quickly and tasted delicious. For dessert we had the tiramisu. They also had a woman playing the violin for a bit. Overall it was a wonderful experience as always and we will be back soon. Thank you!!

If location means anything to you this place has not got it. Corner of two busy intersections sharing a difficult to maneuver parking lot with a drive through coffee shack is somewhat challenging. Good news the coffee shack is closed when the dinner service goes on. From the outside it's not much to look at but stepping inside you're transformed into a somewhat elegant restaurant. Staff is attentive and well versed in the menu selection and specials. Wine list is good but they did push us to order the bottle as a better choice and we were able to take the remains home with us so no waste. Menu selection is limited so hopefully they will have what you want. The Gorgonzola bruschetta was of not your typical you'd think of. 4 slices of hard toast with a Gorgonzola glaze over it. Not fresh tomato over it as normal bruschetta would have. The eggplant parmigiana with pasta was done well no issues there and they did alter the dish and remove the spinach. The Seafood Ravioli special was somewhat disappointing and expensive for the actual dish. Covered in a "heavy" cream sauce it was almost tasteless and the seafood was again for the price somewhat lacking. 2 tiny clams, 2 food sized mussels, 2 small scallops and 3 medium shrimp accompanied the dish. At $45.95 I might have expected a better or more selection and the lobster ravioli was ok but again tasteless under the heavy cream. We passed on dessert and coffee and moved on. Satisfied with the service, the atmosphere inside is high class and charming and the sevice good. Maybe other dishes next trip and navigation of the parking lot next time for easier in and out.

Our server, John, not only remembered us and welcomed us back, but he remembered our drink orders. He remembered that my husband drinks club soda, no ice, with a lime, and that I drink unsweetened iced tea with a lime. Impressive. He is attentive and anticipates what we need, bringing refills before we have to ask. He answers questions honestly and makes outstanding suggestions. I have ordered a different entrée each visit. Every meal was outstanding. Today I had the Filet and Funghi with a side of Brussels sprouts. Delicious doesn't begin to describe it. My husband can't pass up the lasagna, but he always orders at least one meal to go for lunch later in the week. Today it was Eggplant Parmigiana. The servings are as generous as they are tasty. I have not had room for dessert on our previous visits. Today was no different, so I ordered cannoli to go. I tasted one as a reward for finishing our taxes tonight. It was delightful! Just as I remember my Italian grandma making them. Bocelli is a neighborhood gem. I'm looking forward to our next visit.

I went on a Sunday and had the best experience. The ambiance was beautiful--everything was clean, the noise level was not loud at all, and I loved the lighting and overall atmosphere of the open-concept space. It felt comfortable, elevated, and easy to enjoy a full meal without feeling overwhelmed or rushed. Our server was training someone, but you couldn't even tell--it was so professional. One thing I noticed was how many people work there, and I really hope it stays that way. Each staff member had a specific role, and it made the entire service feel seamless. There was no rushing and no stress on the servers. You could tell they really enjoyed what they were doing. They also offer complimentary valet, and you can even Venmo a tip, which made arrival and departure super easy. At the end of our meal, someone even came to box up our food for us--we didn't have to do it ourselves. Very old school NY!!! Top-tier service. As for the food: the oysters we had were flavorful, and the garlic bread selection was soft and not overly heavy on the garlic. My friend ordered the scallops with risotto and crispy prosciutto, and I ordered the special chicken Parmesan with a side of spaghetti in a lemon sauce that they suggested. I was in the mood for a lemon-flavored pasta, and they absolutely delivered. Both plates were phenomenal. I wish they had a place like this in Orlando. I also wish the chicken parm would always be a special because that sauce was delicious. Growing up in Brooklyn, I've had some really good Italian food--and I would absolutely come back here. I'd give service five stars and food five stars. Thank you for a great meal--you did not disappoint.

The food simply isn't on the same level as other Italian restaurants in Tampa. We ordered the bruschetta as one of our appetizers, and it was disappointing. It came as two chicken breasts with sauce and cheese, but they weren't pounded thin and they weren't breaded! I'm Italian, and this is definitely not authentic chicken parm.
