If there is one thing people take away from this review, it is that Julie is the BEST choice to go…read morewith when it comes to piano lessons! At the time we first came across Julie, my then 14-year-old brother had been interested in learning piano. I had reached to several music teachers in the area, and while most of them followed up with me, Julie was the one person who genuinely came across as her most authentic self when she said I could call her with any questions I had, which I did. She patiently addressed all my questions over the phone and made herself available for my parents (whom are native Spanish speakers but can get by with some conversational English) and my brother to check out her studio and answer their questions. It was the best decision we ever made. My brother is now 17-years-old and closing up his final year with Julie as he prepares to graduate from high school. Over the last 3 and a half years, Julie has helped my brother gain inspiration and confidence in himself. He was diagnosed with Autism at a young age but is high-functioning and asks a TON of questions, all of which Julie patiently answers for him. My brother really dedicates a great deal of time in mastering the piano and Julie is always more than happy to provide challenging pieces for him to work on. My family and I really enjoy working with her and she has always made herself available when we had to submit letters of recommendation for music scholarships and she truly cares about her students.

She takes time to help our child through tough parts of pieces, and always has great insight and suggestions to help our child understand musical concepts. Ms Julie is very flexible and accommodating with our schedule. When the pandemic surged, we needed to change our piano schedule due to work constraints / requirements and Ms Julie was able to shuffle around the schedule to let my child continue her lessons. Ms Julie is easily accessible for questions and concerns, as well as lesson format. During the pandemic, Ms Julie was able to quickly switch over to virtual lessons so our child could continue music lessons, and stay sane during the lockdown. I am amazed at the amount of ground we covered during the year of virtual lessons. We are very thankful to have found Ms Julie and we recommend her without any reservation.

The place quickly adopted new technologies and developed a new app and using online lessons. My daughter has been taking lessons for 3 years now and she loves the one on one interaction with the instructor and she became very good friend with the instructor, Frankie! The app is wonderful for checking lessons, practicing, cancelling or rescheduling the lessons. It's very great for parents because it's so flexible since sometimes things come up. Other instructors for make up lessons are also great, Sydney, Sam and Jin! The price is very reasonable as well!

Such a huge perk of this program! Consistently impressed by the staff support & that my boys are eager to come to lessons!

We had a poor experience from start to end unfortunately…read more I had called and left three voicemails over the span of two weeks, different days and different times. I never got a call back, and I decided to try once more where I finally got someone and booked a session. (Our other local music school was relocating farther from us, and my daughter really wanted lessons.) Our lessons were.. okay. They didn't always start promptly and they were usually in tiny, hot rooms big enough for one small folding chair (plus instrument and standing student with teacher). We tried it out for a couple months and it was not for us. When canceling, they assured me it would be okay, but of course they continued to charge us the following months. I called, and again no return messages. I called again, spoke to someone and they said James would call me back, but not a word since two weeks ago. I had to dispute the charges with my card, but save yourself the effort I went through and seek lessons elsewhere.
