Ms. Kim has won many awards from the state and city for her contributions to the community. So she is super plugged in. I absolutely LVE Kim Le, she is amazing!!! She is thorough, professional, kind, and diligent with her work. She is HIGHLY musically inclined and skilled with what it is she does. She helped me prepare for the talent portion of an NHL Cheerleading tryout. I called her asking for last minute help on Friday and she made time for me despite her busy schedule -- so, yes, she is TRULY passionate about what she is doing and absolutely LVES it. I've seen MANY vocal coaches within Orange County (previos Miss America contestant) and I've never been SO impressed! She doesn't make her students feel so time crunched the way other instructors do; if you have to go over, she'll allow it if it's to best benefit the student. This is a wonderful place. Both daughters attend classes and camps there. My degree is in vocal performance from Stanford and I loved theory and musicology as much as singing. And I can tell you, these guys know their business. Pacific Conservatory is not one to overlook! I have the pleasure of working closely with the owner, Kim Le. Kim and I began a professional working relationship prior to her becoming the owner of PC. Even then I knew she was a great new contact as she shows so much passion with the students and families she teaches. Most of her students have been with her for many years as she is able to connect with them on both a teacher/student level, but also as a friend. Once I was informed Kim was going to be the new owner of Pacific Conservatory I couldn't have been happier for her. I saw a change for the better coming for the school and all the families. For starters, when it comes to recital season for the students Pacific Conservatory offers the families multiple day and time options to sign up and select one that works better for their own schedules. Now that might not seem huge of a thing to offer, but when you think of how busy schedules can be and that you don't want to miss these special memories it does matter! It also shows that PC is understanding that not any given day is going to work for everyone to come and participate. It's a level of respect and appreciation that I don't see very often. At the school, students can enroll in a diverse mix of music and arts education courses - from piano and vocals or ukulele and guitar - for anyone from beginner to more advanced, children to adult. You can even enroll in language courses! Speaking as someone who studied trumpet and flute, and then Spanish and French, it's important to keep challenging ourselves as it will open more doors in the future. Aside from the great programs and amazing owner here at PC, the staff and faculty are equally as wonderful! Elizabeth Mejia is the administrator for the school and does so much with getting to know the families and helping with all the needs they may have from schedules, to recital options, or by taking her Etiquette class. How many good things can I say about this place and the staff?? Over a million. My kids attend on Wednesday afternoons in Mr. Thomas's 3:30pm class. He is incredible with children and his teaching method is fun, engaging, and effective. My children (age 8 & 6) love going to class every week and are learning so quickly! Which warms my heart because I felt I had zero musical ability... UNTIL I JOINED THEIR WINE CHEESE AND KEYS CLASS!! It's an adult night class that teaches an entire song in one night while you enjoy wine and delicious snacks... the teacher is actually the owner too, Ms. Kim Le, who is incredibly talented and makes everything so understandable and fun, I learned how to read sheet music and everything!! My boyfriend and I had a blast. It's a wonderful and original date idea. Im seriously considering taking adult lessons there. The staff members are so incredibly nice and the facility is inviting and very clean. I 100% advise anybody to try this place out. I even bought gift certificates for my friend and her BF for her birthday so she can try out wine cheese and keys too. I went to one of their "Wine, Keys, and Ukes" events and it was pretty fun. The piano teacher Kim adjusted the music to our limited skills on the fly so smoothly it was hard to tell she was dumbing it down for us, and we ended up learning to play a cool song in one session. I don't drink wine so I don't know how good it was, but the snacks were on point and there looked like a good variety of wine and beer. Highly recommended! read more

The Pacific Conservatory has been the brightest light in my daughters extracurricular life! They were recommended by a friend of ours and we have been dedicated pupils for the past year. My 5 year old takes a Little Mozarts piano class with Miss Kim, the owner, and has developed a love for making music since the day they were introduced. Now down to business: The rates for classes are competitive. The group classes that are offered (as well as private) are not large. The facility and all of its practice rooms are well up to date and the instruments are loved and well cared for. The staff? Well, these teachers are above and beyond wonderful! I have had the pleasure of interacting with many of the instructors and find them not only talented with the instrument (be it wind, string, percussion, etc...) but they are profoundly in tune with teaching young minds to focus on their lessons. Whats harder, learning to play the violin or teaching a five year old to translate Rachmaninoff? I was skeptical about group piano lessons at first, but they were so much fun for my daughter that she would come home and practice without me having to pester her! She tells stories to teach about theory to the little ones and has a wide range of instruments to introduce the kids to. The Little Mozart's program for 4-6 year olds at P.C. makes music FUN. My child is being taught solid music theory through fun games and repetition. As a result of recitals throughout the year, my child has learned stage etiquette. I took lessons at an early age but never got this kind of theory nor did I learn stage presence. . It has been so much fun to watch how much my child has learned in just 1 year! In this particular program, your child is paired with another student which makes the class really enjoyable for children in this age group. The kids love Ms. Kim and her white board stories about 'clean faced half note'...very creative way to reinforce note names and rhythms!! read more
