I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL. They lied to me and took my money knowing the state wouldn't accept my application EVEN THOUGH I HAD 4 years experience and had it signed they didn't count the year I was under 18. MARIO KNEW THAT BUT STILL TOOK MY MONEY AND THE STATE DECLINED MY APPLICATION so I had to wait another year. Mario brainwashed me and sold me a lot of unnecessary CDs and programs I didn't even need. Paying a total of 2,700 dollars. The answers they gave me to study I have proof they were incorrect and I failed my exams 2 times it took me three times to pass. And it's been 2 months I still have not received a refund for paying for the re take fees like they promised! They don't reply to my emails and Jillian is very unprofessional she doesn't reply to me because they got there money already. GO TO ANOTHER SCHOOL OR DO YOUR RESEARCH. YOU DONT NEED THIS SCHOOL TO GET YOUR LICENSE. THAT IS WHY MARIO WAS SO DEMANDING OF PAYMENT WHEN I FIRST WALKED IN THATS HOW THEY GET YOU. ALSO HE ASKED FOR A GOOD REVIEW ON YELP THE FIRST DAY I MET HIM. Boy am I glad I didn't because he's a good sales man. Very persuasive when you walk in talking about congratulations you're starting your business! Than after you pay you don't here from him he doesn't help you at all ! And after 2 years of dealing with this school it was a mess. Very disappointing even the state board warned me that schools like this completely take advantage of people and I was one of them ! BEWARE

When I checked the website, all of the dates were full, but I ended up calling and speaking to a very lovely lady who helped me sign up for some spots she had available. On the day of the course, I came in not really knowing what to expect. Dallas Shelly was my instructor, and honestly, he was amazing. He made the class feel super comfortable, very engaging, and adjusted how he taught the material based on everyone's level of experience. By the end of it, I felt very satisfied and just wanted to come on here and say how easy the whole process was. They gave the certification at the end of the course, and overall, if I had to do this again, I'd definitely come back here. Oh, and Patrick the admin guy was nice as well.

In my experience, students were often told to purchase materials with little notice, sometimes the night before or even the same day they were needed, and some of those materials were never used at all. The quality of instruction also did not match the cost of the program. A large portion of the coursework was labeled as "self-study," with instructors frequently telling students to "read it on your own" rather than actually teaching the material during class. As a student, it felt frustrating to pay for instruction and support while being expected to teach myself much of the material. Students were also assigned handwritten "Signs and Symptoms" homework assignments that took a significant amount of time to complete but were never actually reviewed or gone over in class. With the large amount of material already being assigned, this often took away from valuable study time without providing much educational benefit. On quiz days, instructors would often quickly go over one or two chapters right before the quiz and then expect students to fully remember and understand all of the material immediately afterward. Personally, I felt there was not enough actual teaching, review, or preparation before being tested. During skills days, much of the equipment was broken or unusable, which made it difficult to practice properly. With around 60 students per class all paying nearly $1,500, I believe there should have been enough functioning equipment available for students. Another concern was the Block 2 exam. A new exam format was introduced, and the class average was reportedly around 60%, which made many students, including myself, feel that we were not properly prepared or set up for success. There were also multiple questions covering a topic that had never been discussed during lectures, which made the exam feel unfair and confusing for many students. I also spoke with many students throughout the class about their experiences with the program. A large handful mentioned that this was their second time taking the course because they had failed it the first time, which was honestly concerning to hear so often. The program also charges a $50 fee to reschedule ride-alongs regardless of the reason, including family emergencies or serious illness, and this policy was not clearly communicated beforehand. I also felt that students were often not clearly told why they failed certain tests or skills evaluations or what specific areas they needed to improve on. Because of this, I often felt unable to properly learn from my mistakes or understand what needed to be corrected moving forward. Overall, based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this program. It often felt more focused on collecting money than supporting students and helping them succeed.

It was evident through body language and the instructors' tone that they had issues with everyone. Three students struggled to understand the material, and I ended up helping them on my own time, which shows they were afraid to ask for help. The class faced constant reprimands about punctuality, despite the clinic having poor parking, requiring us to park far away. Jacklyn, the owner's wife, often argued with her husband, Joe, during clinical sessions, making the environment toxic and frustrating. It was clear our cohort, although only eight people, was not liked. For instance, we didn't receive any congratulations or farewell party, unlike other cohorts. I'm not saying we need one to feel validated but why are you going to tell us that's what other classes have gotten and post pictures if you're not going to do it for everyone?! While the education provided is decent, they charge excessively for every little thing. I would have preferred a place that wasn't focused solely on profit, cared about students, and supported their success. Recently, I reached out about renewing my AHA BLS card, which I had when I started since I was already in the medical field. The owners had told me I could get a replacement when it expired in 2025, as it was included in my tuition. However, despite multiple calls and emails, I received no response. It's not surprising, but disappointing that this is still their way of dealing with students. Credit should be given when due, and it's unfortunate they don't treat you well, even when you bring them business. My advice is to save your money and look elsewhere, especially if you have a skin tone darker than white.

I'd recommend this flexible LVN program, it is part time 2 theory classes and a 12 hour clinical each week for a total of around 18 months. It's a bit longer than most LVN programs but I would choose this option again if I needed too. You are able to work while studying, for me I was able to work 30 hours not full time, I started full time and quickly learned I personally would not be able to juggle both and still learn as much as I would like to. They have great clinical instructors with lots of experience and willing to help, they will be on you to learn and if you are falling behind, they will give you that extra one on one time during clinicals! Mrs. Rahimi, Ms. Vanessa, Mr. Faud were so great! Lastly during the end of my time at CCI they brought in a new instructor for theory that made all the difference, Dr Ayman was great! I'd compare his classes to a Mark K lecture, everything he taught was helpful, he would give mnemonics, study material, everything that helped us learn. He would make sure to be available for us should we need anything, he would do one on ones to make sure everyone was working on their weak areas and encouraged us to finish strong. At the end school is hard so make sure you are ready to stay the course both mentally and physically! You have to do the work and with this schedule it's honestly doable.

I was given the materials I needed, and I really enjoyed the teachers -- especially my clinical teacher, Miss Josie. She was amazing! She taught us the skills we needed for the practical portion of the CNA test, and I learned a lot during clinicals. The facility we trained at was also a great learning environment. I know some students did not like one of the teachers because of the way she spoke. I can understand how her tone may not be for everyone, but I also do not think she meant to come across as disrespectful. I think she may see certain things as common sense and is trying to prepare students for real life. We are all adults, and in the working world, not everyone is always going to speak to you the way you would prefer. Sometimes you have to learn how to handle different personalities and still stay professional. That being said, the attendance policy is very strict. If you miss two days, you are dropped from the course and have to make up those days and pay for the missed classes. I understand why they do this the course is short, and I think they want students to take the program seriously and prepare them for nursing school, which is not easy and has a high drop rate. However, there should be more flexibility for unforeseen circumstances. Life does throw curveballs sometimes, and even responsible students may have an emergency come up that they truly cannot avoid. In those situations, it does not feel right to be dropped from a course you already paid for because of something outside of your control. I also understand that charging a fee may be meant to discourage students from missing a class, but $100 per missed class is a lot, and it is unreasonable to ask people to pay that when they truly could not make it to class. Overall, I would recommend this school. I feel like I learned a lot, was well prepared, and had a positive experience.

The curriculum is scattered, the instructor is constantly distracted with her midwife job and checking her phone during class, and at one point she didn't even realize she hadn't shared the venipuncture video before sending us into lab. On October 1st, she didn't show up at all, and another person, Linnea, "taught" us by reading directly off a slideshow, giving unclear or incorrect answers, and providing no real guidance in lab. In lab, I personally witnessed unsafe practices: being told to draw from a swollen site after already being instructed not to, the instructor palpating after the site had already been cleaned, lack of proper tourniquet disinfection, improper PPE use, and students reusing contaminated equipment. Even the parking lot felt unsafe. A woman filmed me while I was arriving. Linnea herself has admitted she feels unsafe at this location, told us to park in a better-lit area, and even said she's afraid of someone "popping out of the bushes." When I told her about the incident of being filmed, she grabbed her keys and asked me to point out where the person went. I told her where but said it wasn't worth my energy or safety to confront the individual. Her response was "it's worth my time" and she quickly went upstairs. I stayed downstairs because I was not comfortable or safe confronting someone who had just been recording me in my car. After three days, I decided to withdraw. I sent a formal email requesting a refund (which the school's own staff confirmed I am entitled to within the time frame). Instead of addressing my email, Linnea left me a voicemail saying she found out I dropped "through the internet," which is unprofessional. She obviously received a notification that they got a one-star Yelp review, and the level of unprofessionalism is only being exacerbated by her response. This program is not safe, not professional, and not a place where students can truly learn. I cannot recommend it to anyone.
