I've been here many times over the past few years. I live out of state but go with my mom when I'm…read morein town visiting. It's very important to me that the place is clean, plays relaxing music, and smells good - if a salon smells like the awful chemicals they use, I can't take it. We usually get regular pedicures and either regular or gel manicures. The nail techs always do an excellent job - thorough and precise. My mom has extremely short nails which she bites and they are kind and help her feel less embarrassed as they care for her hands and teach her to do better herself. It's a little pricey compared to my home state salon but I think it's standard for this area. There are many good reasons that keep me returning as does Mom who eschewed salons for years due to self-consciousness about her nails. Keep up the great job, Uponavon!

The only negative is this - on my last visit the staff seemed annoyed that we were there later in the day but they also tried to upsell us manicures which I found strange. When I politely said no thank you one of the women grabbed my hand as if to inspect my nails to ensure I did not need a manicure. The overall experience is still 5 stars but I am not a fan of being upsold. I will make an appointment for what I desire that day and that is it. Please don't ask me if I want anything else. And for the price I am paying please don't show your annoyance at me being there after closing time if you took the appointment at that time.

I had a skin problem on the top of my foot & she was very careful about it. It is very quiet in here & the music is relaxing. I told Chloe the water was too hot & she immediately started making it cooler. My comfort was her priority. I paid extra to have a 30 minute chair massage. I'll let you know how that goes, also. So, I finished with the chair massage & I know you're all waiting for me to tell you what I think. I Loved when she rubbed my head!!! Other than that the whole chair massage thing was meh. FINALLY NOTES: this place is spotless! Very clean! People are nice & friendly. Prices are reasonable. I would recommend.
