Nineteen years after having a left modified radical mastectomy, I decided it was way past time to…read moreget a breast implant. I was referred to Dr Funk, who came very highly recommended, by someone who knew his work. From the very first visit, to all 3 subsequent procedures, I knew I was in good hands. Dr Funk is a true artist who takes great pride in his work, as one can tell by the end results. Dr Funk is kind, gentle & caring & always greets one with a great smile. He knows my family & he never fails to ask how they are doing. His staff are an extension of Dr Funk. I have always been greeted very cordially and never leave the office without having a conversation with everyone. The girls & John are the best (I might add that I really miss John's sweet little dogs. I'm not an animal person, but those 2 were so irresistible). Keep doing what you do, Dr Funk. You are THE BEST!

The lady asked me if I had used the products, I said no, they just weren't for me, and she was like, Okay! Processed my refund, and I was on my merry little way. BUT WAIT A SECOND... I've been trying to get my LAST NAME CHANGED in the Ulta system for the longest time. Every time I called customer service, they told me, "Yes, we changed your name." Okay, cool. Then one day I spoke to another customer service representative and she tells me, **"No, you actually have to go into an Ulta store to have your name changed. Excuse me?! WHY?! Y'all could've definitely saved me a trip around the damn city if somebody had told me that from the beginning. So anyway, I go back into the store, tell the lady I need to change my last name, and she changes it. THAT'S IT. No ID. No paperwork. No security questions. Nothing. She literally just changed it. And I'm standing there like, OMG... SHE CHANGED IT! I get back into the car and tell Hubby, they finally changed my last name! He's like, oh that's cool. Fast forward...I open the Ulta app. No maiden name change. I said, oh my goodness. We gotta go back. I'm already preparing myself for another Ulta adventure, another explanation, another customer service conversation, possibly a congressional hearing at this point. But before I grabbed my purse, I said, let me just log out and log back in. I logged out. Logged back in. And voila my name was updated Anyway, 10/10 for the ladies being nice and helping me with my return AND finally getting my name changed.

Staff is all around lousy, from the person I spoke to on the phone and front desk who couldn't seem to care less whether I wanted to be a patient there, to the nurse who took me back and didn't seem to care either- which made me wonder why she felt the need to come back in with the doctor and observe, other than she likes to make you feel awkward. The doctor only looked at me from the waist up, which I now know is insufficient for someone at risk or with a history of skin cancer- you should get a full body exam (not great for the self-conscious, but necessary). Anyway, if you're look for a good dermatology practice I would recommend one of the Dermatology of York locations (York, Hanover, Gettysburg, Mechanicsburg), I'm a regular there now and it's great.

All went well except they were not the size i asked for, but no major issues except if i want the size i requested i would have to pay the same amount all over again because he didn't listen. He also makes quirky comments like "how are my boobs?" Very awkward and weird. Anyhow, before realizing implants were the incorrect size after waiting for the swelling and stuff to go down, my mother booked a breast lift with implants as well. Long story short he did a terrible job, she is in pain and need reconstructive surgery. The way Dr, levin and BARB at the front desk treated my mom while she expressed her concerns are disgusting. Dr. Levin offered to do the surgery again to try and rectify the situation but rudely said "after this we are done!" I do not feel safe with my mom receiving another surgery by his hands and we will pass on the second botched surgery and will be going to someone more skilled, and who actually cares about their patients and listens. I should have payed attention to the red flags of others about how they treat their patients here once they receive your money. Also he's to be selling his practice so i assume he just doesn't care any more and wants to make a few bucks on his way out Leaving his table with too small implants was never my goal, and pain and disfiguration was never my mothers.

I am a huge fan of Dr Jennifer Mueller's so she gets 5 stars from me! She has treated my entire…read morefamily and I like that she's easygoing and doesn't have a pretentious attitude like many specialists. Fortunately she has also accepted every insurance I've had in the past 8 years since it changes so often. On the flip side unless you are established patient it's hard to get an appointment. Even as an existing patient sometimes it's a challenge and depending on the nature of your visit you'll get booked several weeks out. But on the other hand if you are having an elective or cosmetic procedure done you can get in the same week. To me that makes no sense. Dr Mueller sees both medical and cosmetic patients and I have seen her for both. I especially like that when I book an appointment with her that I see her and not some physician assistant like at many specialty practices. I pay a much higher copay for that specialist and by damn that's who I want to see! If you are lucky enough to get an appointment come prepared and on time. They are usually right on schedule and if you're late will need to reschedule. If seeing Dr Mueller she's really good at explaining things and covering all of your concerns so make a list to make the most of your appointment. Also if finances are a concern ask if she has samples if prescribing medication, if she does she'll happily stock you up but they won't be offered if you don't ask. From personal experience if you have something funky...like a skin tag or such and they offer to remove it ask if it's covered by your co-pay....before they even touch you. Chances are it's not and let me tell you dermatology visits are expensive! You'll be forced to pay for the removal before you leave + your co-pay for the visit. You don't want that unexpected expense!! Again, I know this first hand! Also know that if you even show the slightest best of interest in your appearance they will "tell you" about a cosmetic procedure or treatment they offer. A times I have felt the line was a little too thin between doctors office vs spa. On your way out if another visit is required BE SURE TO BOOK IT BEFORE YOU LEAVE. Even calling back the next day can cause a huge delay in getting on the schedule. Also be sure to check at all the nurses stations on your way out for samples. They have a box at each of higher end non prescription products, lotions, sunscreen, face creams, etc. Grab a few, I always do.

Scheduling a routine…read morebody check was a complex process on the phone and with email forms, followed then by a six month wait for an appointment. Then the appointment was rushed and cursory. Their idea of a body check amounts to a fast moving series of quick glances, in a speedy rush that skipped a lot of body areas. I didn't object or argue because it was clear that I was going to have to run the appointment myself if I wanted the doctor to slow down and I just was not up to the stress of doing that. I'm now looking for another doctor or practice that does a thorough, honest body check. Body checks take time and this practice does not give that process nearly enough time.
