Kim provided a truly luxurious experience, from the satin velvet robes to the soft lighting, aromatherapy scents, and calming music that made me feel transported to a peaceful resort. She began by analyzing my scalp with a magnifying tool to assess its health, followed by thorough brushing and a gentle head and neck massage. The highlight of the treatment was relaxing on a warm table with my head laid back into a sauna-like waterfall basin, surrounded by soothing colored lighting. Kim then cleansed my hair and face simultaneously using gentle yet firm massage techniques, incorporating both her hands and specialized tools that brought me into a deeply meditative state of relaxation. I especially appreciated how she worked out tight muscle knots in my neck, shoulders, arms, and hands -- something I truly needed. I had the best spa day at Salon Vous. Salon Vous is so beautiful and relaxing. I would stay there all day if I could. Kim gave me an amazing head spa experience. She is professional, detailed, and thorough with me. I have oily hair. Kim was able to rebalance my hair. I couldn't believe how light and refreshed my hair was after. One of my other favorite parts of the service was the scalp massage. It felt like a waterfall was running through my hair. She gave me one of the best massages I ever had. Came in for a hair consult with pictures of me in my desired hair color. I had come in to Salon Vous because of their great results on individuals with a similar hair color and skin tone, so I was hopeful. I had requested my previous stylist at another salon to recreate the look but sadly she fumbled through it, and didn't even change my hair color in the end...I had achieved this ideal look before in one sitting and my hair was undamaged. Back to Salon Vous: I believe the stylist was in training (I am not naming her because it's not her fault, the owners appear to run the show). The owner came and looked at my current hair and pictures and said the look was not too different from my current hair color and could be achieved in one sitting. I was hopeful and made an appt. Come hair day, the same owner is not there. I wasn't too worried, the stylist and I had discussed this with the first owner and had a plan on how to proceed. Well, the second owner came in and gave her input and plans started to change. The second owner essentially told me that my ideal look was not achievable in one sitting and that a slightly more subtle version would be achievable in one sitting and more affordable/what I'm looking for (we had already discussed a price point in the first visit and even considering the cost of bowls/extra length, that price point was going to include my ideal look per the first owner). By this point, my head was already in the sink and color had been applied. I was quite literally stuck. The hair color turned out decent but not the ideal that I had desired and had been done prior! Even my friends said it looks like nothing has changed in your hair... This switch-and-bait tactic is unacceptable and I ended up paying close to $300 for a half-job. BEYOND the best salon! Kieu, the owner, should have a PhD in color and extensions. I'm a 20+ year veteran of the whole lineage of extensions, and she surpassed me in 5 minutes. The new head spa, sounds crazy, right?? FABULOUS! Infinitely better than a traditional massage! I hate massages, but this is not that, so much better. Kim is SENSATIONAL! All of the stylists are outstanding! I'm there frequently and know firsthand that Jordan, Madison, Ana... amazing! Vlada is MY routine hero! SO EXTREMELY knowledgeable in recommending treatments and products that have improved the quality of my hair beyond all expectations! Better than in my youth. She's a gem! And the nails and pedicures, you won't believe the attention to detail by both manicurists, Suong and Cassie! I go to either because the consistency is seamless. I NEVER EVER write reviews. I never go on social media at all, honestly, but Salon Vous is so amazing, especially as my hair is aging (I'm 55), consistently exceeding my expectations every time, no matter what the service, and I've tried lots haha , that I had to write a review. What I love is that the salon caters to the full spectrum of hair types among a diverse clientele bringing out the best version of you. Honest to god, they consult with each other. I came here for Japanese hair straightening, a process that normally costs around $400. I was informed that she changed her rates to be $150 hourly, but I assumed (because I've had this treatment done many times and it never takes longer than this) that it would be about 3 hours, so about $450. I decided to continue as this wasn't too far off from what I had expected. However, I noticed that she was working extremely slow, taking extra steps to take longer than needed. I sat with my hair soaking in water for about 30 min, and this is just not a step of the treatment. This was purely to waste time. One of her assistants was taking time from my hair to take out her own hair extensions. Finally after 4 hours I realized I needed to leave before my bank account went dry, so I had to leave before they could even blow dry and finish my hair. So I left....almost $700 later...with soaking wet hair. Once I blow dried by own hair, the process did come out well I will say, but regardless, I will not be back. read more

A little background... my stylist at Vidal Sassoon has been cutting my hair for over 15 years in New York City so when I traveled up there, I got my cuts. Not practical but when someone took shearing scissors down here in a salon, it scarred me for life. With no more trips planned to NY city I was in desperate need.
