I…read morewanted to get my hair curled for the wedding and I was able to make an appt. for Sunday afternoon for a curl set a couple weeks in advance. The salon was a quick, easy walk from the historic Bethlehem hotel where I stayed. The salon was very clean and bright inside. Only one stylist was working that day and I was the last appt. at 1 pm for the day. Jen was very friendly and did a nice job curling my hair for the event. It cost $45 and I was very happy with how it looked. The curls held all night (and I even left them for a couple days after). I would definitely recommend Clementine salon if you are in town and need a blowout or curls done for an event.

They never gave me a quote before hand and just charged me over $4000 for the same extensions I have gotten for over 10 years in NYC for $250 for the hair and $200 for the service. Then when I go to pay there's ALWAYS someone saying oh it looks so good knowing it looks terrible. They cut my hair even tho i said curly cuts are done dry she cut it after she wet it AND brushed it out while it was dry?? I dont have a single positive thing to say about this place. I book with someone different every time in hopes i'll find a good hairstylist but they're all worse than each other. I don't think anyone here is skilled enough for how much they charge and let alone with curly hair? they're clueless genuinely.

I made an appointment for a simple trim and was booked with Chris. No one told me he was new or…read moreasked if I was okay with that. During the cut, I had to ask if my hair was even, and he never showed me the sides or the back. He clearly didn't know what he was doing -- he couldn't even style it before I left. When I got home and saw it in the light, I was horrified. My hair was uneven, chopped up, and I even had bald spots. I went back hoping they'd fix it, and another stylist did what they could, but I walked out with basically a G.I. Jane haircut. Here's the worst part -- Chris never apologized. He was "too embarrassed" to say sorry, but apparently not embarrassed enough to give me the finger. The salon didn't offer a refund or any kind of compensation, just said they wouldn't charge me for fixing the damage their stylist caused in the first place. Hair grows back, sure -- but respect and trust don't. This whole experience was completely unacceptable and unprofessional.
