I have had facials with Ambee and Allison and both are excellent. They use high quality products that are healing for the skin with no harmful chemicals. They have a variety of facial types to chose from depending on your skin needs. You can always customize your facial as well. One of my favorites is the Wonderland facial as they use light treatment at the end. Included in your facial is a neck and arm massage as well. I would highly recommend Julie for any facial / skin treatment service!…read more I requested a customized 70-minute facial because I had been breaking out for awhile and wasn't sure why. During the intake process, it was super apparent that Julie wanted to understand how to best approach my treatment. She asked me what my goals were by the end of the facial, & I had answered that I wanted to better understand my skin in general, and I wanted to feel relaxed during my time there. Julie made sure both of those objectives were met! She had let me know that I had some dry areas (which I had no idea) and made many recommendations for different products to use -- I had been using cleansers that were way too harsh for my face. All of her suggestions she documented on my forms & invoice that were sent back to me for my reference, which I really appreciated! I feel like I understand my face much better, and my skin is looking SO much clearer and brighter! Julie also made my comfort and relaxation a top priority -- she had offered different types of headphones / earplugs for noise cancellation, always let me know in advance what technique she was about to switch to so I wasn't caught off guard, made sure the heated bed I was on was at an optimal temperature; I felt like a princess the whole time! Julie's skills and expertise are incredibly evident, as is her passion to help her clients feel better educated about their skin, feel pampered, and feel confident! I can't wait to book again!

Let me start by saying that I have visited many nail salons in the Lehigh Valley. And this was…read moreprobably one of the worst experiences I've had. I had a gel polish manicure and pedicure from another place. I wanted that soaked off and replaced with a regular polish manicure and pedicure. First, a woman at the front questioned me when I said it was gel polish. She said it was builder gel. It wasn't. Not a big deal though. Then I was directed to pick a color from the wall. Pretty standard. However there was really no greeting, no instructions about the multiple shelves of polish, no request to sign in, I had to ask. Again, none of this was a big deal. My manicurist again checked my nails to see if it was builder gel or if I had tips. Again, no. She half soaked my nails and half used the electric file to sand off the gel polish. Overall, she seemed inconvenienced and like she was rushing to work on another client. She cut my cuticle which caused it to bleed. She wiped the blood off with a paper towel that she continued to use and wipe everywhere. She never cleaned my cut cuticle with any sanitizer. Then she ushered me over to the pedicure chair. And left me there for a little bit of time without saying anything. Then someone else came over and started doing my pedicure. The second woman seemed to do a better job with my toes. But again was not very communicative and only told me to go to the dryers, didn't carry anything, didn't come over to make sure the dryer was on. It wasn't. I had to turn it on myself. I have to say, I am not a high maintenance client. I go to another place where many of the reviews say how rude the staff is and yes they are but they get the job done. I have no complaints about that place. This place was just really unwelcoming. The staff seemed to be poorly trained. The salon was pretty beat up and just not clean. I had to wait to pay because the young man at the from was struggling to juggle someone trying to make an appointment while I was checking out. I was really surprised at how busy it was but they did seem to treat their regular clients much better. I will not become one as I do not wish to return. Oh and my nail chipped 4 hours after leaving but I am tough on my nails so that may not be their fault.
