Seriously! BEST HAIRDRESSER IN THE WEST IS BRIDGETTE!!! Y'all--if you want a great haircut, honest prices and impeccable service...this is the place to be! I am super picky--high maintenance to say the least--and I have never left her salon disappointed! Before Bridgette I would DIRECT (to put it mildly) the cut and style--now that I go to Salon Phoenix, I Sit down and let Bridgette cut my hair that is best for my face, age and style needs! I have recommended her to my friends--which is HUGE for me...for a bad haircut cut END a friendship. read more

Bridgette at Salon Phoenix is truly amazing! I'm very protective of my hair because I've had many disastrous cuts in the past which made me wary of who cuts my hair. Bridgette is extremely easy to talk to without that awkward silence most people experience while getting a haircut and she listens to how you vision your hair to turn out while offering a professional, realistic opinion. Her shop is so unique that I feel like I'm at Kirkland's (a great store that no longer exists) exploring all aspects of the world. Thank you very much for a great experience!! read more

I first went to Bridgett based on the reviews and boy they were right. First was hair cut and months later, highlights. I showed her pictures and she was so completely honest and told me her recommendations. She was right. The ability to create hair based on personality and complexion is the ultimate skill master. I had not seen her in 5 months and she remembered who I was and what my vision was for my hair!!!! Absolutely recommend Bridgett read more

Lana was great! I went in for a haircut and color and she did an excellent job. I wasn't completely sure what I wanted to do when I came in and she helped me figure out some fun things to try. I am super happy with how it came out. The salon is a relaxing environment where I felt welcome and appreciated. The staff was professional and friendly and definitely seem to enjoy their craft. I would recommend this salon and Lana as a stylist, especially if you are looking for someone who is creative and willing to do a variety of fun things with your hair. read more

I don't usually get my hair cut in a salon, but I made an exception when I was in Albuquerque for the balloon festival. A friend of mine recommended Lana at Salon Phoenix. She was amazing. I asked for a really specific look and she did an even better job than I thought she would. She also did a really cool dye job on part of my hair that turned out really cool yet still natural looking. I was really satisfied with the cut and dye job she gave me and would go back to her exclusively if I lived there. Ask for Lana! read more

Bridgette is amazing! She takes great care of my hair, she can somehow maintain the length but keep my wavy curls, she never takes off too much, but keeps my hair pretty and healthy. She's also the funnest hairdresser you could ever go to. I leave her looking amazing and with a huge smile on my face every time! I highly recommend Bridgette!!!! read more

Bridgette is a genius with hair! I've been going to her for over 2 years now, and have never received a cut, color or perm that wasn't completely awesome and I always walk out feeling like a new woman. She takes the time to talk to you about how you envision your new style, and asks about your routine at home to determine if you'll be able to get the results you are imagining. Another thing I appreciate is how she is always quick to explain what the various products she is using will accomplish for your hair, and how to apply them. On top of getting great styles there, it's an adorable salon and Bridgette is beyond hilarious with a good and lively rapport with her staff. It's pretty much the most fun you can have getting your hair done. read more

Bridgette Otero, or as I like to call her Hair Goddess Extraordinaire, has been giving me amazing color and cuts for nearly a decade. She is insightful, creative, and professional. She also has great taste in music and is funny as hell! Going to Salon Phoenix and having Bridgette transform me time and time again has been incredible. She is the longest, most stable relationship that I have had and for good reason, she truly cares about her clients. Go and book now!!! Do it!!! read more

As a guy, I wouldn't normally go to a salon for a haircut but I heard good things about this place so I gave it a try. I called for an appointment & Bridgette took care of me with a great wash & scalp massage, then a cut & style. They have products for sale if you need them, too. I've been back several times since & would definitely recommend it. read more

Bridgette did a fantastic job on my haircut. See for yourself: http://lambaround.blogspot.com/2010/11/fancy-new-haircut.html

Bridgette is the best! I don't know which is better...walking out of Salon Phoenix looking and feeling fantastic or the couple of hours I got to spend chatting with an amazing human being. My hair feels great and the color lasts way longer without looking washed out than with any other stylist. You get one-on-one time and never feel like you're sandwiched in between other appointments. The music is always spot on. I look forward to seeing her latest painting. My only suggestion is to not go with a full bladder, she'll make you laugh so hard you'll pee yourself. read more

How is it possible I've been going to Bridgette for seven+ years and haven't reviewed her here?? I have very curly hair, and Bridgette brings out the best in it every single time she cuts it. She's beyond talented with both cutting/styling and also coloring; we used to have a lot of fun experimenting with color before I decided to just go grey. (And she brings out the best in my grey, too. :-) ) I adore Bridgette, and I know you'll like her too. She's fun, funny, easy-going, and her rates are great! read more

I felt very welcome and pampered here. The staff was very friendly and seem quite knowledgeable. Meggie did my hair, it was just re-layering and a trim but I was(and still am) very satisfied, I decided this is the only place I'm getting my hair cut from now on! read more

I got my blonde highlights done by Elyse and I highly recommend her. She listens to what you want, takes her time, and really makes you leave a happy customer. I also had a few questions after I left and she took the time to give me all the information I needed! I will be returning to her in the future! read more

5 stars all the way. I have been to many salons only to be let down for one reason or another. Once I was seated in Bridgette's chair I knew my search for a stylist was over. She listened to my wish list of long, shiny, healthy, voluminous hair. She kept it real and suggested styles that were suitable for my hair type and colors that reflected my personality. Every time I visit her I feel like I get VIP treatment with personalized services. I have never been pressured to buy products or walked out spending more than I planned. Not only is Bridgette a superstar when it comes to cut and color but she shaped my eyebrows and showed me how to achieve the look I wanted. In summary, if you are interested in looking like you spent a fortune on your hair (but didn't) this is the spot for you. read more

I've been going to see Bridgette at Salon Phoenix for about three years now. I heard about her through a friend and have been going ever since. She's very knowledgeable, friendly, and ok, just amazing. Love my experience every time I go. She's the only person I recommend when anyone asks me about a salon. read more

Great salon! Bridgette does a wonderful job of cutting and styling my hair, and the cut lasts for weeks. When I first went to her, I told her that I am lazy when it comes to my hair. I am not going to take the time to use styling tools such as round brushes, curling irons, etc.. Also, I don't use product in my hair due to allergies. I needed a cut that wouldn't take more than five minutes to style in the morning. She nailed it! My husband loves it. He says it's the best cut I've ever had. He's right. I've never enjoyed going to salons, but it's different with Bridgette. Spending time in her salon is enjoyable. She is pleasant, sincere and fun to be around. read more

The spa treatment was nice but she didn't do anything fun with my nails after sitting in the chair for almost two hours. Couldn't do and designs just plan boring nails. I'm disappointed and feel I wasted my money. Don't reccomend this place for nails. read more
