This place is amazing. I came during their grand opening day and bought a package. Came back last week and Joanna was truly the best. Their whole staff is super accommodating; they offer you water and snacks because they know you'll be on that chair for a long time. I don't know what Joanna did exactly, but it's so blended that you can't tell I had two inches of roots. The price is affordable and the service is amazing, great recommendations and I would 10/10 recommend to anybody looking to fix or change their hairstyle! Came in originally with the idea of going dark brown for my wedding updo. Jeanne suggested if I wanted to add dimension to an updo, to add partial highlights so my hair would really pop even when it's up. I was very hesitant, but I also didn't want black roots. So she was very open to adding a brown base color plus the partial highlights. She was very helpful in choosing a color and going through pictures. Initially the color was way too blonde and it was already like 9pm, but Jeanne and her assistant really wanted me to love my hair so they both stayed behind to tone it down again. I didn't want to be one of those people that act like they love their hair and walk out because I don't want to feel like a burden, but then bash them in a review for messing up my hair. They advised me about the safety guidelines which I appreciate and once you arrive to your appointment they will ask you to wait in your car until they are ready for you, they will also take your temperature and give you hand sanitizer. I had my hair done here a while ago and it's always bothered me since. I paid for a bleach and color. Before arrival I was already promised a certain price of around 260/270 for everything. Then once I arrived and they went over the price with me, they charged an extra 30 dollars. I had stated I had a price already agreed upon and they wouldn't honor the texts between me and the company. For the hair, I had a very specific look I was going for. I have brunette hair and I wanted a very light blonde look. One thing that upset me is after one bleach, the stylist said after starting to add the color that the color isn't going to take and she thinks we should of added another bleach treatment but added the color anyway. I would of been happy to pay for more bleach if that meant getting the color that I wanted. The color I wanted didn't stick. It was supposed to match the roots, so with that I hated my roots. I wasn't happy at all and I just wanted to get out of there as I was there for almost five hours already. When leaving, I felt pressured into buying the purple shampoo and conditioner. I stated that I didn't want it and would buy it myself from an outside source. I was then made to feel like I had to buy it to leave. So I purchased it just so I'd be left alone and then more product was pushed in my face to buy and I kept saying no several times. Now for the total. When she put everything into the system I was charged over 400 dollars before tip. I have no idea how it got to that total as the agreed price was around 290, the shampoo set I believe was around 30 as the price tag said 24.99. And even though I hated my hair I still left a decent tip so the total came out to around 510 dollars. I feel like if I'm paying 500 dollars for hair I should really like my hair. I had to get it fixed a month later by someone else. read more

After doing so I waited until Wednesday just for them to reply to my text message. Then they seemed to be quicker as Wednesday I was getting more responses that day because I was questioning whether I needed a shadow root. After what seemed like we were staring to finalize an appointment, she replied on Thursday to clarify one small aspect of the price. I said ok immediately and sent the available dates. It is now Friday evening and I still don't have an appointment and nobody has responded to my text yesterday. For a business with such high reviews I was eager to become a client, but honestly it didn't seem like they wanted my business. I would expect responses to be on a timely manner because that was the preferred method of communication by them and it was going through their business phone number listed above. This is so late, I apologize but I ended up getting sick so now I have the energy to type this review for my appointment on 10/5. I had a really amazing experience at Salon One9! After getting a consultation (they emailed me back within the same day!), I was set up with my appointment. They asked what I was looking for and for pictures of the hairstyle I was considering and everything was dine in a timely manner. I got set up with Karen and she was so sweet and understanding! She helped me pick out which hairstyle and bangs would look good for my round face. She was so gentle in washing and cutting my hair. She even saved some of my locks for me to take home to donate to make wigs for cancer patients! She definitely took her time to make sure I was happy and satisfied with how my bangs were looking and how the length of my hair was! I really appreciated that. I absolutely reccomend Karen as she is very knowledgeable about hair and she takes her time in making sure you are happy with your haircut. I just got my hair cut and styled at salon one 9! One of the nicest place I've gone to in a while :) I really just needed a haircut and hoped that they could squeeze me into their schedule. Adriana was simply the best! I have gotten a lot of compliments on my haircut ever since I had it cut by her. I was pretty nervous going shorter with my hair, but her easygoing personality and kindness made the process easier. The only thing was I showed up on time for my appointment but didn't get started until 30 minutes into my appointment slot. I'm not one to frequent salons, bc my time not working is usually spent doing things with and for my kids/family. Bc of that, I go to the salon only when I've reached a point of complete frustration with my hair. It's usually long, split ends galore, and any color faded wayyy out. My hair def needed some care, and I found this salon while searching in my new neighborhood. I messaged them and within an hour they had responded and after some back and forth to hone in on what I was looking for, I was scheduled for that same evening! The front desk was super friendly when I arrived, and Elicia was great and really attentive to what I wanted. I had had a really long day and wasn't all that talkative, but she was awesome, and just worked on pampering my hair. I left happy with my cut and color, and she even said if I wanted more of a pop to my color, I could come back and she could do just that. This salon is a GEM!!! I went in for an all over refresh with Elicia. She started by moving up my extensions and giving me a gloss toner, which made my hair feel hydrated and luxurious! She then gave me a trim to even out the ends and styled my hair afterwords. My hair felt so healthy and refreshed! Elicia even talked me into adding black sparkly tinsel, BEST IDEA EVER!
