I'm disappointed with my recent experience and wanted to share it so others can make an informed decision. I booked an appointment based on the salon's $169 highlight special. I specifically explained that I wanted to refresh my existing highlights and add lowlights because I wanted my overall color to be darker and more dimensional. I was told lowlights would be added. The end result does look nice, but it is not what I asked for. Instead of lowlights, a toner was used, which actually made my hair lighter rather than darker. I was also charged $285, substantially more than the advertised $169 special. Because the result wasn't what I requested, correcting the color will require another service and additional expense. I reached out to the salon owner directly to explain my concerns and give them an opportunity to address the situation before leaving a review, but I never received a response. I understand that hair color can sometimes have unexpected results, and I would have been very open to working with the salon to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, the combination of paying significantly more than expected, not receiving the color service I had specifically requested, and receiving no response when I reached out has left me disappointed. I have gone here twice using an advertised Groupon. The first was for a Brazilian Blowout, the second was for a keratin that the owner allowed me upgrade to a Brazilian (hefty charge). Both times, the results lasted only a month and clearly were not true Brazilian blowout products. I have been getting Brazilian Blowouts for almost 20 years and have never had one wash out so quickly or leave my hair feeling so lifeless and tangled within a month. I had grown-out highlights and about 3-4 inches of virgin roots, so I wanted a softer, blended look rather than highlights starting directly at the root. I also specifically asked that bleach be avoided on the ends of my hair that had already been bleached because I explained that my hair couldn't handle additional bleach. This was my FIRST time ever getting my hair professionally done, and I'm honestly so upset and disappointed. I trusted someone named Kero to give me a balayage something blonde but blended naturally with my dark hair and what I got was the complete opposite of what I asked for. I came in with VIRGIN HAIR--never dyed, never touched and somehow still left with hair that looks completely ruined. My hair turned out GREY. Not blonde, not bronde... just straight up grey. Very shady practice! They advertised $130 for balayage hair color on instagram. I booked it while chatting with Tony the owner. I said I see the deal on your page and would to book for the deal amount of $130 special. He said sure and booked the appt. On the day, I told the receptionist I have the insta special- she just smiled and told me to work with Tony. He got another staff to work on my hair, Tony hardly touched my hair. He was working on 5 people at the same time, taking me a total of 4 plus hours to get the color and wash- majority of it was just waiting time. After the wash, he said he would fix my bangs which I hadn't asked for, took scissors and cut my hair. At the end of it all- I was charged $650!! I said I have the insta special- and he brushed me off saying of "that's just half hair. You have full hair plus toner plus haircut plus blow dry!! " All of this was not made clear to me at all! The other guy hardly spoke English. And then the audacity- tony says he doesn't personally accept credit card so I had to Zelle all that money. He says you can add tips for the other guy and I will give it to him. I had to add tips on top of it all! I felt very cheated! Stay Away - Hair Extensions Nightmare & Unprofessional Salon This salon completely ruined my hair. I got K-tip extensions here, and it was hands down the worst experience I've ever had at any salon. The installation was done so badly that the K-tips were fully visible; even at the top of my head. When I put my hair in a ponytail, they were showing everywhere. On top of that, the parting was wrong and caused tension that started breaking my real hair. I've worn K-tips before for over 5 months with zero problems, so I know what a proper install should look and feel like this wasn't it. The hair they used was dry, frizzy, brittle, and tangled constantly. It looked and felt like it had already been over-bleached and damaged before it was ever installed. Honestly, the extensions I had removed before this looked 10 times better. What makes it worse is how they handled the situation: They didn't. He handed me over to a gentlemen that highlighted my hair, he did not converse with me, treated me like a "unserious" customer and seemed to be rushing through my highlights. I got my hair done with Muhammad here. Found him on instagram. I went in with virgin hair and no prior work done. I came out with a headache and fried hair!!! The amount of damage that was done was unbelievable. He was extremely rough for no reason and I could feel my hair being ripped out. They burned my hair to the point it couldn't be brushed when they were shampooing it!!! They were being soooo rough!! He hit my head with the brush MULTIPLE TIMES when he was trying to tease my hair to add the color. I'm not being dramatic. This is not a salon but a chop shop. They use extremely cheap products and cram in as many clients as possible. I would not recommend this place. At the end, my hair did not look like what I asked. I went home and did a Madison reed color treatment myself. Over the last few years, I have been consistently disappointed when coming in due to the volume of customers and the constant wait times for my appointments. I had an appointment on December 20th at 12 pm. When entering the business, there was an employee doing someone's hair outside because there was not enough space inside. Once inside, it felt more like a nightclub than a salon. The music was very loud, and employees were rushing around every where. I checked in with the receptionist and was taken over to get my hair washed. I had to wait about 5 minutes for someone to come. The woman who washed my hair was by far the highlight of my appointment. While she was very pleasant and did a good job, the water was freezing because the hot water did not work. She apologized for the cold water and worked quickly so I wouldn't be uncomfortable. She then had me take a seat on the couch back in reception because there wasn't a spot for me to sit at a salon chair. I was then ignored until I got up at 12:30 and spoke to the receptionist. I told her I had had an appointment at 12, had been waiting half an hour and would be happy to see anyone who had time because I had to leave by 1:30. She apologized, went to speak with Tony and told me that it would be just a few more minutes. I sat back down and was finally seated in a salon chair. I was then ignored again. At 1 pm, an hour after my appointment time, I went back to reception and cancelled my appointment. The receptionist apologized again, went to speak to Tony and then asked me if I wanted to reschedule. I told her no before walking out.
