Worse customer service!! I scheduled an appointment weeks ago and to find out (1week before the appt) that the stylist will not be available! The customer service rep Sarah was not apologetic AT ALL! The only availability offered was for either a CUT OR COLOR ONLY! I mean it doesn't take 1 hr to cut hair! So upsetting because i took the day off for this appointment and the rep was so nonchalant about it and have no sympathy AT ALL. I love my previous stylist but NOT going back here because of lack of Customer service. Go else where!! read more

1st visit my daughter got a great haircut and the allover dark color she wanted; my haircut was passable although not what I asked for. 2nd visit with two months of growth my daughter's root touch up was $140! They were rough with her hair, with her eyes closed at the shampoo and holding back tears, she opened her eyes to find her stylist pointing at a balding spot and mouthing "can you believe this" and the other stylists snickering. I was not aware this was happening because I had my own situation with my stylist who was not who I did my color consult with despite the salon claiming it was when I made the appt. Mind you I have thin hair, I repetitively say I don't need a helmet of highlights to EVERY colorist EVER - just a thin streak here and there. Well, every single strand of hair had foils. She didn't come back when the buzzer went off - went to have my hair washed, thought she was doing leave-in conditioner because she walked away saying she'd be right back. When she returned, I asked her what that was and she said TONER. OMG - right girls? You don't want to hear that because it means they screwed your highlights and they don't want you to see until they "tone" it down. Never talked about; asked for toner. Got charged $40 for her attempt to hide her mistake. Go to now get my triple processed hair cut, explained plainly, showed pictures, argued, had to agree to the kind of cut that gives me Mickey Mouse ear affect cause I don't know my own hair apparently. There is no definable shape, no amount of styling to be done, to make this look anything more than a boy's mistake of a haircut. I said I like to flip my ends - don't like to curl my hair under and what did I get? Does neither but more likely to curl under. The "senior stylist" exclaimed she couldn't style my hair after cutting because she "doesn't know how to do that -she's working on it". My daughter was now crying in the car and me - I was speechless - when the bill was nearly $500. Speechless. Stopped moving. Waited for them (three people trying to figure out how to work the system to charge me) to say anything to fill the uncomfortable silence. Like explaining how they arrived at that. SO, I asked. My stylist said she charges top dollar for cuts, and this and that. etc. I said I am not paying $500. We had more work done two months ago and paid $300. They "discounted" the toner. Still, I am shocked. No - we'd love to make it right; No - you're right we didn't discuss thsi with you. Mind you, their website was down and we brought it to their attention. So, again, I asked where their pricing was since their website was down. No answer, lots of looking down -anywhere but at me. I was SO tempted to refuse to pay and my CC company says that is what you MUST do if this ever happens again. Because I am disputing this. I have long text records of where the next day I immediately brought all this to the attention of management, and they were like "have a nice life." Learn from my experience, girlfriends. I'm not even sure this is the right place. We thought we were going to a place called THE STUDIO in Tysons, but they said the PR at Partners website wasn't down. I look for PR at Partners in Tysons on Yelp and this is the listing I got. From what I've read, people everywhere have the same experience at PR at Partners. They don't really care if you like your haircut or color. read more

Alright, I was pretty skeptical. I've let people do unforgivable things to my hair before and the turnout left my hair hating me so I had not done anything for a while. I booked an appointment with Julie at PR at partners with a million pictures in hand to give her an idea of what I wanted (OK, more like 7, but I probably looked at about a million online). I really wanted to go for a light ash brown balayage. I had a bad experience at an unnamed salon in Ashburn months before so I was legitimately nervous. Julie greeted me with a friendly smile and showed me the way to her chair. I sat down and gave her all of the details about what I wanted (perhaps too much detail but I didn't want to risk anything this time around). She was confident, friendly, really listened to what I wanted and even calmed my nerves. She was so patient with my hair, especially since she had to lift the color since I had dyed it back to a dark brown after my previous experience at the other salon 5 months before. The outcome that she had left me with was magical (check out the attached picture!). I was so amazed at the hard work she had put in, and was thrilled that she was able to do it! She made my hair beautiful and got me what I had asked for. I was so happy with the outcome. I would definitely recommend Julie to all of my friends! She is also great a cutting, and did a great job when she updated my layers and trimmed my bangs to complete my new look. I had a great experience with her and PR at partners in McLean. :) read more

Stopped by because I was looking for a specific hair product and knew this place sold the Kerastase brand. The gentlemen at the desk looks up, seems very surprised and asks flatly "Can I help you?" When I smile and tell him I'm just looking for a particular hair product, he looks back down at his phone without saying another word. He doesn't ask which product, doesn't tell me he's there if I have questions, doesn't offer to help me find it, or even acknowledge my presence. He was not in the middle of any work related activity and there were no other customers in the entry. I recently moved to this location from the Tysons PR at Partners (I had to hard of a time getting an appointment after my stylist left). I have seen Shirin a few times now and am so happy I've found her. My hair always looks amazing after. Shirin takes the extra time to straighten my curly hair (not the easiest task) to ensure a proper cut. I received the kerastase treatment last time in preparation for my wedding - my hair was so shiny, vibrant and beautiful for the big day. First of all, they have a new location, so Yelp should really get around to updating their address (especially since the PR at Partners sign is still up at the closed Lowell street location). I'm a salon monogamist, but after getting the same cut and perm from the same hair designer at a different salon for years, I felt my regular stylist was getting a bit complacent with my signature wave and length and I needed someone to take a fresh look at my hair. Enter Richard. I was asked to fill out a detailed questionnaire about how I wear my hair and my lifestyle, which at times seemed a bit embarrassingly exposing (Job? Awaiting employment...Do you work out? No...How often do you wash your hair? Depends on whether I have anything to do that day), but I appreciated that they took those things into consideration. I further appreciated that Richard actually took the time to look over the details and sit down to talk with me about exactly what I wanted. It's a small detail, but the *sitting down* part helped in making me feel comfortable enough to discuss my concerns and habits without feeling rushed. I explained that I wanted to wean myself off of the perms, but didn't actually know how straight or wavy my natural hair was, as I've been getting perms for the last ten years. I liked that he worked with what wave I had left from my last perm--after some slight layering that didn't leave the ends of my hair looking wispy and overly-trendy, I now somehow have waves that look bouncier despite my out-going perm. He taught me how to get rid of the hump in my bangs that keep forming an arch instead of brushing across my forehead. Many a designer has tried to teach me this technique, but whatever Richard did with my hair, this is the first time that I'm able to maintain my bangs just the way I want them weeks after my cut. We took it easy for my first cut and agreed that we would have to keep experimenting as my perm continued to wear out--hooray for long-term outlooks instead of trying to achieve an end result on the first go to prove revolutionary prowess. Richard has earned my trust with my first visit. Being somewhat a-social, I appreciated that Richard was very friendly but not overly-chatty. Building a relationship takes time, and as any girl who cares about her hair will tell you, your relationship with your stylist is one of the most important that you'll ever form. Thank you, Richard. She's hip to the trends, and won't allow you to make the wrong decision on your hair either, because we all know how sacred our hair is to us. I loooove my hair! I asked the always stylin' Ms. Kimberly S. for suggestions on where to get my hair prettified after staying away for over a year while pregnant. She highly recommended Kim Tran at PR at Partners... I looked over Kim's social media #hairbykimtran and liked what I saw! When I called to book, she was booked a month out. Even though I really wanted to get my hair done asap, I decided I would wait and see, I had waited a year already, what was another month? After a long drive after work (DMV traffic :( ), I finally made it to my appointment. Kim was friendly and personable. She asked me what I wanted, showed me some pictures, I told her I trusted her and to make this new mama pretty! This was hands down the worst salon/experience that I have ever had. Michelle Park, supposedly a manager and stylist, which is quite frankly laughable due to the lack of standards that this company has in regards to management, did my hair. I came in asking for my hair color to be lightened (balayaged), which she agreed to.. Within minutes of her beginning to deposit color into my hair, i realized that she was dying my hair dark brown - literally the complete opposite of what I had asked for. Not to mention was this NOT what I came in for, but she also decided not to use a permanent color option, which completely defeated the point. To top this all off, once I recognized that she was dying my hair BROWN, she proceeded to tell me to stop talking for the rest of my time with her. Excuse me??? What a complete lack of professionalism, especially coming from a supposed "manager". I have seen homeless people on the side of the street with more tact than Michelle. I came in with pictures and a very knowledgeable background on the coloring process, considering I have been having my hair balayaged for over 10 years now. I was clear during the entire consultation and appointment as to what I wanted, and she didn't listen at all. I understand sometimes people come in with unrealistic expectations when it comes to their hair, especially when going blonder, but as a stylist, IT IS YOUR JOB TO SAY SOMETHING, rather than just continuing and doing your own thing. THIS IS SOMEONE'S APPEARANCE THAT YOU ARE ALTERING and I never agreed to anything that she did to my hair. The WORST part is that before I scheduled my appointment, they quoted me one price. Upon my arrival, they confirmed that price. Upon payment, that amount mysteriously doubled. After asking to speak with the manager, they confirmed the now doubled price. Upon reluctantly agreeing to pay, this now double price DOUBLED AGAIN. I'm not understanding how I was quoted three different numbers in a span on one hour. I would ensure that you DO NOT come in with any article of clothing that you care about. Michelle was absurdly careless with how she was throwing around hair dye and completely ruined my designer blouse. Of course, no empathy or offer to replace the blouse was made due to her own carelessness. I reached out to corporate on numerous different occasions, to only be met with the audacity of an attitude from their director of customer service. I had to follow up numerous times to even be presented with a refund (they wanted to only partially refund my money for a color job I never asked for in the first place). When following up in regards to my blouse, they told me that they did not care and that it was a lost cause. The director of customer service suggested that I try reaching out to the Better Business Bureau since she wouldn't be doing anything else for me. After calling in to receive my refund, Michelle RUDELY slammed the phone down and hung up on me. I can gladly say that I will share my experience with any one, whether or not they ask. This establishment is truly a blemish within McLean, VA. I would think twice before giving this salon any of your money. read more

Eleanor is AMAZING!!! I have super fine straight hair with strong parts tricky cowlicks etc. To me a good hair cut starts out looking great from start to the next appointment for a trim. (6 or 8 weeks). Mine still looks fantastic at 8 weeks!!! I am only going in for a slight trim and shaping. Elanore had a lot to fix when I came to her and all I have heard since our appointment was who cysts your hair. She does fine detailing and examines the hair and follows the cut to the cowlicks. Thanks to a random visit to their website and an intriguing bio, I walked into PR at Partners' McLean location and onto the chair of the extraordinary hair genius, Richard. I had just moved to town; I had no idea what I wanted to do or how things would turn out but decided to trust in this young man with an infectious smile and lovable personality. As it turns out, he is the son of a couple of former colleagues and the protege of my previous stylist--a very cool coincidence and small world. I took it as a good sign. Richard took one look at me, tried hard not to roll his eyes and said,"I can't see this 'NoVA soccer mom look' on you." He tried to ask me about my daily routine and hairstyle ideas, but I was not very helpful. "Something different. Cool and classy. Not weird." He responded with, "You're not NYC. But I do see London." (Huh?) He downloaded and printed out pictures of Paris Hilton, which made me want to get up and walk out. He assured me that even though I didn't look at all like her, we shared the same facial shape, and it would look fantastic. I was dubious but willing to take a chance. By the time he was finished, I had a big smile and the best cut of my life--a graduated bob with a decidedly European edge to it--apparently his specialty. What began as total karma is now hair nirvana. Richard can do magic with anyone's hair. Talk to him about your needs, lifestyle and ideas, and be open to his suggestions. I've been getting my hair done at PR at Partners for years now at different locations. Every stylist I've come across has been extremely professional, friendly, and kind. Today I came to the chain bridge road location for the first time and was quite underwhelmed. I came for a simple blowout with curls and was greeted by a stylist who seemed intimidated by my long hair (goes to the middle of my back - pretty common for a female). He was being rude to me for no reason and asked why I didn't specifically tell the receptionist that I had long hair... she didn't ask when I was making the appointment on the phone nor have I ever had a problem with my hair being too long for a hair stylist... I told him I wanted loose curls and he started using a small wand to give me tight curls. When I told him again that I wanted loose curls he gave me attitude and slamming his tools. I decided to give PR a whirl after being an in-house hair model for Vidal Sassoon for the past 2 years (read: free haircuts/ color). Since I was actually paying for my haircut this time around, I was a bit skeptical going to a chain salon. Boy was I wrong. I heard good things about PR so I decided to make an appointment with any stylist who fit my schedule that day. That person was a guy named John. He was ever so friendly and was thorough in asking questions about the haircut I wanted and explained how he was going to achieve it. John managed to take my shapeless, frizzed-out mop and somehow transformed it into a fresh, new look. I also gave him the green light for some fun, heavy bangs which look perfect-- not too short, not too long. He gave me some pointers on how to keep my haircut looking its best in between cuts and also offered to give me free bang trims. What a guy. If you can walk into a salon you've never been to and get awesome service and a sweet haircut, it's definitely a place to you'll want to try again in the future. read more

Can you give 0 stars? I made an apt. last week and when I arrived the receptionist said, "oh, I wish we would of had your phone # your stylist is going to be late." She went about her business and I had to ask her how long would I be waiting and she said maybe 15 minutes." I waited 30 MINUTES. (How many salons do you know that would keep your apt. when we're that late??) When the stylist came in she walked past me. A few minutes later she came over to me and said she was sorry she was late and to follow her. I sat in her chair with a pix and the stylist, Bebe, was looking at something else while I was talking. I was trying to show her a pix and she glanced at it for a second and then looked at my hair and said I would have to go really short to get that look. My hair is short already and this was a cut to even out some areas--not a big cutting job.--I told her I didn't want a lot off. She made some weird comments that she has to be able to put her hands in my hair without cutting her fingers. My hair isn't THAT short, so I picked up on her vibe that this she had somehting else going on to make her this snotty and I told her that I thought it was best that I didn't get my hair cut now and left. I recently broke up with my hair stylist...no...seriously broke up with her... and had to wander in the wilds of DC to find myself a new stylist for both me and my 3 princesses (ages 16, 12, and 8). Luckily, it seems I run with a crowd literally awash with hairdressers, so I didn't have to look too far. A friend pointed me in the direction of Sarah who happens to work @ PR at Partners in McLean, and after a conversation, I was convinced to give her a try. Sarah did my hair first on a day after work. She did a fantastic job of walking the line between hip participant in DC's nightlife (I'm a DJ and nightclub promoter in DC) and my slacks and jackets day job where I pay the bills as an agent of the oppressor. The girls' appointment came a week or so later. Now, I should preface this by saying that I'm likely one of the more attuned fathers to current teenage girl fashion trends and whatnot. Since their mother and I parted ways, I've been primarily charged with ensuring that my daughters' hair and clothes are on point, so I really do know what's up. In any case, it had been a few months since any of them had seen the inside of a salon, so they had a great deal of work to be done. My youngest had well over shoulder length hair and because she's 8, it wasn't really all that flattering. I asked Sarah to take at least 4 inches off, and she did an excellent job. The haircut was so, so, so cute and her bangs were done in a way that would allow her to grow them out but still be flattering in the meantime. I was too impressed with both the haircut and how Sarah handled my 8 year old. The 12 year old was next. She had decided that she wanted to take her hair a few shades darker. Sarah did more magic with her hair and gave her a nice trim to even things up and get rid of all the split ends. The 16 year old was next with a full set of highlights. Again, Sarah rocked her hair and made it look fantastic, again with a nice trim. Both the 12 and 16 yo's use a flat iron religiously, so Sarah also took the time to give them a few tips on using the flat iron and minimizing damage to their hair. She also recommended a pre-straightening spray that they could use to further help. All in all, I was very impressed with Sarah's work, her friendliness, her attention to detail, and her willingness to take extra time out of her schedule to offer hints and advice. I and my daughters thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will definitely be back in the future. read more

I had been getting my hair cut by the same stylist in Virginia Beach since I was 4, so naturally I was traumatized when I relocated and needed to find a new person. I see Richard and I could not be happier. My hair is pretty thin and I like to switch up wearing it naturally curly and straightening it. It also grows super slow so a bad haircut can linger for months. In addition to that I get pretty restless as far as my hair style goes and I like it to look a little different every time I leave. I have never left here unhappy. The thing that impresses me most is that I can say something like " I'm growing it out but I want it to look edgier and still be able to wear it curly, just don't take more than 2 inches off the longest strand" and Richard can translate that into something I'm happy with. On top of that I always get plenty of compliments on my hair. I actually told someone the other day that I would feel comfortable walking in to get my hair cut blindfolded and saying nothing as far as direction. For me the only reason this place is getting a 4 is because the receptionists usually get an attitude with me on the phone and rarely greet me when I walk in until I've been sitting there awkwardly for a few minutes trying to get their attention so I can let someone know I'm there. Overall though I am extremely satisfied with this location and would recommend Richard to anyone! read more

I LOVE BEBE!!!! I hate to post that because I don't want people booking up my fav stylist, but I give props where props are due. She gave me the serious hair intervention that I needed because prior to her I would go MONTHS without getting my hair cut and, although I realized I looked like hell, still wouldn't bother (too lazy, didn't want to spend the money, didn't have a stylist I was really happy with). Now I see her every eight weeks or so and my hair has never been better. She is very knowledgeable about cuts and goes out of her way to show me how to easily take care of my hair. I am not one who likes to spend a hour every morning primping myself for the day so she gives me tips that make my life easier in the morning. One trick she's taught me is this way to blow dry my hair that takes less than 10 minutes and always makes it look great (instead of like I stuck my finger in a wall socket). Sometimes I feel like she can read my mind. During our last cut, I asked her to go more edgy and the cut she gave me was exactly what I envisioned. She's very friendly and chatty, but not to the point where it's annoying (and I have a low threshold for annoying small talk). I'm not much of a chatter during salon services, but find her engaging and pleasant. As far as Bebe goes, 4.5 stars. The rest of the place I give 4 stars. The receptionists always seem aloof and somewhat out of it. Maybe that's because I usually get my hair cut early on Saturday mornings and they're hungover or something...but still. It can be very crowded and hectic there, but, again, I usually go on Saturday mornings so it isn't surprising. I like this place so much that I'm moving soon and will continue to go there. It'll take me twice the amount of time to get there, but finding a great, somewhat inexpensive stylist is DIFFICULT! Kudos to PR at Partners for not being a total rip off. I usually pay $45 - 55 for a cut here whereas I was paying $80 at the last salon. They also don't try to shove products down my throat, which is nice. read more

My friend raved about Richard for a while before I gave him a try (that's how little trust I have when it comes to my hair- I'm afraid to go anywhere!). He is truly amazing. He took my hair from light blond to super dark brown and back again all with minimal damage and always being completely honest with me. When I was changing over to dark brown (something I'd never done) I had this exact image of what I wanted it to be- in my mind and in a photo and he was able to replicate it exactly. I was so happy.... then I got tired of it and we're slowly working towards becoming blond again. I really trust him for color and I can't say that about many people. I was apprehensive about going after having a bad experience at a local salon last year, but they quickly set me at ease. The person I spoke to on the phone was very friendly and accommodating. I made an appointment with William. When I arrived, I first filled out a detailed questionnaire about my hair habits. This was a first for me. William read my answers and followed up with some points. He really listened to what I was doing with my hair, what I wanted in a style and what made sense with my daily habits. My haircut was basic, but he did it flawlessly. I was extremely happy with the cut. It looked great, made me feel great and has been really easy for me to style. I went there with a hair "issue" so I needed help but also didnt exactly set anyone up for immediate success (unless they could perform a miracle). I got Sarah. She was nice and spent a lot of time with me which made me feel better about the "issue". I was completely preoccupied with the prospect of having to change my whole hairstyle or just deal with my self made mistake. But she talked me from making a drastic change and while I was there I got a great cut. I still like it a couple weeks later (in my opinion proof of a good cut). I will be going back. My only suggestion to them is that they need to update their website. Before finding my stylist, Dyan, I had a rough couple of years when it came to my hair. I bounced around to different salons and just could not find a stylist who would listen and give me what I was looking for. I will preface this by saying that the first time I came to this location, I had my hair cut by John. He literally butchered the cut so badly that I had to complain to management. They were super nice and let me have a free cut with the person who was known for cutting curly hair, which turned out the be Dyan. No beating around the bush, Dyan's cuts are pricey. But she is so cute and nice and she really knows what she's doing. She always gives me exactly what I ask for and even makes my hair look better than I expected. My only complaint is that the shampoo area is small and cramped, but 5 stars for Dyan. read more

If you're going for color, I highly recommend booking an appointment with Lily! I had terrible outgrown highlights all over and Lily helped me go back to a richer version of my natural auburn. I was so pleased with the results and the color is beautiful! My haircut was average, but the main focus of the visit was for color so I didn't come in with a specific haircut in mind. Julie is the best hairstylist I've ever had. She does flawless color and cuts and is very quick! Recently, I started school in MA and can't go to her for every color. Unfortunately, almost every stylist in MA has botched my hair and takes roughly 3 hours just to complete the color. So, on my breaks from school, I go to Julie to have her fix what other stylists have done. Compliments from friends and strangers always follow an appointment with her. I'm a client at the PR@Partners in Friendship Heights but wasn't able to get an appointment with my regular stylist. I was going to be in the Reston area so called the McLean store and got an appointment with Olivia. The salon is clean, modern and staffed with professionals, from the front desk to the trainees who sweep up. I've now seen Olivia twice, once on May 5 for highlights and a deep conditioning and once on May 19 for a haircut. I'm very happy with the services I received and her approach. She asked a lot of questions, to find out what products I use, how often I wash my hair and what my goals are. I will probably stay with this salon from now on. So first off I'm 31 years old and it took me 10 years to finally find a salon and hair stylist that understands my hair and what I like! Thank God for Sarah! Sarah has been my hair stylist for the past 5 years! I will not let anyone and I mean no one else touch my hair! She is absolutely amazing and such a great person too! Everytime I get my hair done (it's usually color and cut) I'm bombarded with compliments! Sarah is absolutely an angle sent from the hairdressing gods! I am so happy to have found her! So Julie K at PR is amazing. I've been following her around to all the salons she's been and she does an awesome job. Every time I go in with a new idea she gets my vision exactly. Not only does she just get me she's super fast so I'm not sitting at the salon all day. I'm pretty high maintenance with my hair and she's always spot on. Last year I had ombré for the majority of the year and she always made it look amazing. Color, cut, new style.. She's the one you want. I have people ask me regularly who does my hair; I've even convinced my boyfriend to get his cut from her! read more

JULIE IS THE BEST!! If you need a good hair stylist she's the winner. I've had my hair red for awhile now and it's rare I go a day without a compliment from someone, sometimes even straight men! I've had a lot of strangers go to Julie after they ask who my stylist is. All my friends started going to her as well. And I love that she's quick. I hate wasting my day at the salon and Julie cuts and colors my hair in under 2 hours. Other places have taken up to 4 hours to do the same job. The salon is clean and everyone is always really nice. Was encouraged by the recent good reviews to try this place. A year back, this business had BAD reviews. I am now posting one more - I saw Minh Huang and shelled out $150 ( and an undeserved tip) for a VERY UNDERWHELMING experience. They had me fill out an intake form like one does at the the doctor's - pointless exercise given the scant lack of interest in providing good service. I spent a good part of 2.5 hrs for nothing. 1. BAD COLOR JOB - I am Asian - the brown kind with shoulder length hair. One may wonder how someone can mess up a "black all over color". She did. My hair looked dull and flat with NO shine post treatment. My home job is way better and takes less time! Minh has PINK hair - so she should know how color works. She just chose not to work it. 2. The CUT - she was very reluctant to cut anything more than the split ends after being expressly told to do 1-2 inches to reshape the cut. The DESIGNER cut had me with one side longer than the other. I had to come back and INSIST that it be fixed. It took MANY tries before she could trim the longer side down because she seemed out of it. 3. PRODUCT - for the first time, I had an itchy scalp after the treatment - I got back and washed it and took 2 Benedryl because I was concerned. I left a $30 when I first left the salon because I did not want to stiff someone so young. Now I want a refund. I am going to follow up with the manager - an establishment that has staff perform tasks with such reluctance is unlikely to do the right thing. However, they are welcome to surprise me. If they do the decent thing, I will post it. read more

I started to go to Sarah because the other girl I went to constantly was jipping me out of money for butchering my hair. When I first visited Sarah she was in dismay at the state of my hair. Through patience and Sarah's awesome talent my hair is getting back to it's healthy self. Sarah is wonderful with applying color and styling my hair and my husband's hair in a funky unique way that gets us noticed in a good way. People recognize my husband who is a well known local DJ and music producer so when we venture out people spot us because of our fabulous hair all thanks to Sarah :) Thanks to Sarah we might have a shot at our own reality TV show. :P read more

I was a customer for almost 10 years. Unfortunately, the last few cuts have felt like my stylist of the last 2 years has "phoned it in." Also, she stopped washing hair herself and passed it off to the shampoo staff - who do a lousy, half-hearted job. She didn't even ask if the shampoo was done well. I've left to go to The Smitten Salon in Arlington where the stylist gave me the the blunt cut I've been asking for. She cut my hair dry and the precision was awesome. I'm happy to have found a better salon. read more

There is only one person you should be going to see here and that is Sarah. I have been going to her for over two years and my hair has never been in better condition nor so stylish! She is constantly going to classes in New York City or other major fashion locations so she can improve her skills and bring more to each customers specific style and needs. Sarah is very creative and honest. She will not do things to my hair if she doesn't think it will turn out right. I have referred over 10 people to Sarah who are still all current customers of hers. She is so easy to talk to and I always look forward to girl talk when my hair appointment comes up. Plus she is flexible and always makes time for me and my busy schedule.
