Oh the terribleness level of the woman who greets you is making me speechless. She stood there blocking the way as if I would try to run by her and sit on the hairdresser's chair or something. There was literally NOBODY in the entire salon. She looked straght to my eyes and said they were fully booked! She then asked if I wanted to make an appointment. and when I tried to grab the list of services menu, she pulled it back from me and put it down where it was. When I asked if anyone was actually available for a haircut, she said all 3 of the hairdressers were in the 'back'! I saw no one. Is this place a public service place or not? It was so weird, I still can't believe what happened there. And I wasn't looking like a bum or homeless mind you, even if I was, they should treat people nicely. After all it is a salon! People go there to look better! Avoid this place! Find a better spot! read more

I can't stress how terrible my experience was here The absolute worst haircut!! Brought my 2 year old son here for a trim. Trim!!! He had a ton of hair. He cut his hair with the scissors and it looked fine. Then, all of a sudden, he grabbed a razor (I thought maybe he was cleaning up the bottom? Why else would you use a razor for a child's hair?) and then I looked and he had shaved part of my son's hair!!! He didn't even ASK me if he could use it. How could you not ask the mom!!! At this point there was nothing I could do, he had to shave the rest because he had already shaved a part of his head. On top of it, he didn't even shave it properly!!! He created holes all over his heads it's absolutely TERRIBLE. Im including pics of the before and after. Absolutely horrific. read more

If I could give a salon 0/5 stars, trust me I would, clearly Amero does not know how to deal with Dark/brown/ Black hair, I asked for a simple balayage and received HIGHLIGHTS? Not even in the color I asked for!! Extremely unprofessional method of coloring, left my hair with chunks of untouched hair, leaving lines in the middle of my hair where he missed the bleach. He even ADMITTED he messed my hair up after i pointed out his numerous mistakes. Extremely disappointed and would not recommend anyone to go to get their hair colored here, trust me, I was very insistent on going here and completely regretted my decision. Now I have to wait three months to get it fixed so I don't fry my hair. Not worth the price, and a complete waste of time, I am urging anyone who wants to go here to just find any place but here, I wish there had been a review like this that prevented me from going here. While I was getting my hair done as well, he was talking horribly about his clients!! Saying he was "sick of them" and curses them under his breath, he has an anger issue and treats the poor hispanic lady (i believe her name is jenny) in an inhumane way, constantly snapping and getting angry at her. read more

what i really like about the service and Amer the stylist is that he is talented, fast, processional, and a meticulous stylist with a good eye for a good haircut and a great understanding of hair types and conditions. i have been following Amer from salon to salon for two decades and find that wherever i go i always end up back at his chair -- he has never disappointed me with almost all services. The salon is roomy, exceptionally clean, pleasantly quiet and relaxing with lots of space to sit and kick back if you are waiting on someone. I was at the Mall years ago looking for a stylist as mine had moved away... As the gods and the stars would have it, I met Amer that day.... I have difficult to cut hair, fine,straight and not super, duper thick and takes me forever to find a stylist. Amer is amazing with my hair, it grows out and holds a cool shape in the meantime until back for next trim. If I want to change it up a bit, I'll sometimes bring a photo of a style I like, and he somehow amazingly knows exactly how to cut my hair to bring out it's best. What a beautiful salon and conveniently located in the mall. Covid protocol was followed and the price was right. I had my hair highlighted after spending over a year, not getting anything done due to having a child and the pandemic. Amero is the only hair stylist who listens to what his customers need/want. If you are not happy with something or if you want something changed, he goes out of his way to make the customer feel accommodated and comfortable. All other staff are extremely friendly as well. Everything Amero did was great: color, highlights, cut, and blow-dry. A few months ago, I walked into his salon because my usual hair stylist was out of town, and I was desperate for a haircut. Amero was incredible: listened to what I wanted, was willing to add his opinion when I asked for it, chose the perfect color (natural looking but with more shine than I can ever manage), and the cut and blow-dry were amazing. Amer is an absolute master. I have been going to him for 24 years and have NEVER had a bad experience. He is extremely professional and an incredible stylist. His ability to craft colors that make your hair look exceptional is second to none. He is a true artist and an exceptionally wonderful person.
