I've tried styling it like she had suggested, but unfortunately it is much too short and not salvageable at this point. I understand that to some degree my straight hair makes it a challenge, but I've had bangs many times before but never anything like this. Lastly, I was left with all the loose hair on my face and eyes. At any other salon I've been to, the stylists would usually dust my face off as a courtesy at the end. For those who're not fans of the shampoo component of salon visits, Yoshi might very well convert you: washing was thorough and seamlessly executed, with a warm towel placed under your neck, and the scalp massage= sheer magic! From the very first message, Lauren at Darlwas responsive, empathetic, and incredibly kind. She truly listened to what happened and what I was hoping to achieve. When I arrived, she was welcoming, professional, and explained everything in a way that made me feel comfortable and informed. She performed a full color correction and completely transformed my hair. My previous layers were choppy and uneven, about six inches apart, and she beautifully blended everything so it looked soft and seamless. My haircuts with Mie are always fun and the staff are always encouraging and give great advice on what hair would look good on your face and even adjusting styles to see what would look better! I always get my hair cut by her and she always does an amazing job. I'm always amazed at the precision and skill it takes to pull off the hair styles I want but she never fails to deliver. She also is so good about recommending styling product and heat tools to use if your hairstyle is high-maintenance. Mines is pretty high-maintenance but she always guides you on how to style yourself so that you look good every day not just after your hair appointment! Whenever I go to her I always like to go out because I love my hair LOL No isolating for me :P Their space is also very clean and aesthetic. It was convenient but I never felt I was appreciated as a long time customer. The manager male is never friendly. Maybe he is shy but can't hurt being more friendly. Their 75$ hair cut fee is not worth it at all.
