I needed to use my own spa music on my phone for relaxation and noise buffer! then when I was lying on table for my massage his pants made noise every time he moved! he also didn't have the oil on him like other masseuses have so he had to constantly stop and walk over to get more oil so it was very disruptive I explained I wanted a great full body massage to ease my symptoms but he spent so much time on my back (which was not my area of concern) that I really didn't get the relief I wanted....even though I paid for a 90 minute massage!! i was not impressed with his technique...both his body work and "tucking me in" with the sheet when he worked on other body parts. at the end he only gave me a small glass of water (for the cost I would've expected to be given a full water bottle) finally, when I was ready to check out, they had an issue with the gift certificate that I was using from Spa Finder (u called multiple times to be sure they accepted this) she had yo call a manager in a different location and was on the phone for over five minutes with no resolution while others waited behind me to check in and check out. I finally had to say to her I needed to leave I had driven an hour and 45 minutes just to get here from Columbus. Then she had the audacity to ask me if the person could call me later to get payment if this gift card didn't work! she had the audacity to ask me if the person could call me to get payment if they couldn't figure out GC!!! Overall, I would never, ever recommend this salon for any type of massage service. Not a Spa at all. Definitely not worth the money. A very disappointing experience

After a few sessions, I felt a world of improvement. No surgery or meds needed! My MD was impressed. Then when I was facing surgery for a different medical issue; I was recommended to get a massage pre-surgery. My surgeon stated that massage 'seems to help patients when preparing for surgeries." The office itself is small and intimate. I had written her prior to massage and we talked more in-depth about my migraines. I paired a full-body massage with cranio-sacral (which I had never had before). The massage room is very cozy: dimly lit with fabric hung from the ceiling (it reminded me of a cloud). Much to my surprise, despite her use of oils, I was not overpowered by smells. The massage was great - I loved the warmed socks she provides. The week after my massage I felt wonderful. I could definitely feel that the tension in my neck and shoulders had been significantly reduced, and my migraines were not quite as intense. I would highly recommend Lotus Tree if you're looking for someone who will take the time to listen to your ailments and work on them! I'm hoping to make visits here a regular occurrence.
