She is an…read moreexcellent representative of the company, an absolute stellar, employee, and she went out of her way to help me today. In addition to the service at the front desk with Julie, I would say I've had positive experiences with Massage Envy in Newport.

I never spoke to manager and said I would call back. They went ahead booked the appt, and yesterday my husband got a text confirming an appt which we never made, while he was out of town. He told me today and when I called Hailey was very rude and told me she is charging my card for an appt that was never made. Also I have 8-9 massages built up, so they should never charge my card anyways. I told Hailey I will talk to her manager and she doesn't know what she is talking about. It's ridiculous. I've been a client there for over five years with a plan that comes out monthly. This is the worst we have ever been treated and she honestly needs more training. Terrible service Hailey! Zero stars honestly. Newport ky location

This was unfortunately the most disappointing salon experience I've ever had. The reception team…read morewas lovely, the ambiance is beautiful, and the stylists are kind and professional. However, the results were consistently not what I requested. I brought in an inspiration photo and clearly stated multiple times that I did not want any red tones. The result was noticeably red/orange and looked nothing like the photo. I called the salon, and they were courteous and offered to correct it. The manager was helpful and encouraged me to return to the same stylist so she could learn from the situation. Although I was uncomfortable with that, I agreed as long as there was guidance. At the redo appointment, I again showed the inspiration photo and reiterated my concerns. Unfortunately, I left with hair that was pinkish/reddish/yellow and extremely dry -- again, not aligned with what I requested. The manager did ask if I was happy with it, but with the stylist present, I felt uncomfortable speaking up and said very little. The situation felt awkward and difficult to address in the moment. While the redo was comped, I was charged approximately $150 for a root retouch. Within just a few days, my silver growth was already visible. At this point, I am over $500 into the experience and have left each appointment feeling embarrassed rather than confident. I've decided to move on and find another salon, but I was truly disappointed by how far the final results were from what was clearly communicated.

Unfortunately for me, my massage had to be rescheduled twice due to masseuse being sick. Despite being told less than 24 hours before the massage... twice... the discount they gave me as an apology was only 10% (they charge you 50% if you cancel less than 24 hours ahead of your scheduled massage). I wasn't expecting a 50% discount or anything... but if would have been nicer if it was close to 20% since I had to rearrange childcare twice. The masseuse went over the basics with me at the start of the massage and I decided to sort of let her lead as I had no idea what I didn't like or what to expect. I'm not sure what's normal, but most of the massage was pretty good. I did think too much time was spent massaging my head, too much time fiddling with hot towels, and sometimes I couldn't tell what she was doing for short periods of time (since there was no massaging going on). The thing that I disliked the most was that the 90 minute massage seemed to be 90 minutes minus the six minutes she had spent going over some basic info at the start. Which again, not sure if that's normal but it seemed a bit odd to me to include that in the massage time. Overall, it felt nice but I also felt that some of the massage time was wasted on massaging places that didn't really need it like my arms. Not sure if I'll be back but at least I'll be able to give more direction if I do.

Today was my 90 Coolsculpting follow-up, and I have to say, I'll definitely be coming back. I'm not…read morea regular "derma spa" client, but I think that I've found the location that I'd be 100% comfortable visiting on a regular basis. One of the main reasons: the staff. Any question or concern I've ever had (or have), they answer--and in terms that I am able to understand. They don't give false expectations for results, they are honest and transparent and I really appreciate that. It's hard to find a place that doesn't give you the run-around and the "advertising taglines" for all the new products. They don't push anything on me and I feel that any decision I make is fully _my decision_ and I'm as informed as I can be. The front desk girl (I'm sorry I don't remember your name) is just a doll and she was able to answer all the questions I had as well. I really appreciate when the people making schedules are as informed as the technicians. I think it's super important to have as many knowledgeable employees as possible. During my first-ever Coolsculpting appointment, the technician made sure that I was as comfortable as I could be--he gave me a pillow and a blanket, he checked in on me a few times to make sure I was alright... just everything he did was what I'd expect out of a professional--but one who genuinely cares about his clients as if they are his best friends. His attention to detail is what really made me feel special. He wasn't rushing the application process or having me feel like I was just another "time slot" for the day. I didn't feel rushed either. It was a very pleasant experience (minus the stinging of the Coolsculpting machine, but you'll have that anyway). And, what made me feel even more special is that at the end of the procedure, I felt as if I was going to pass out. This was mainly due to the 2-minute "massage" to push any of the nearly-dead fat cells over the edge--that was the most painful part of the entire Coolsculpting experience. To make sure I was alright, the front desk girl (once again, I'm sorry I don't remember your name) came in to sit with me while I ate some "emergency" candy to try and get my blood sugar back up. She didn't seem inconvenienced in the least--she was more than happy to make sure I could safely stand up and that I felt 100% good to go. After seeing how well they take care of clients (I even had a brief conversation with the manager), I decided that signing up for the membership was a good route to take. Now that I'm 31 (eek!) years old, I guess regular maintenance isn't a bad idea? I hope that this $99/month fee pays off like I hope it will, but only time will tell. I'm not the best at pricing what services I think I'd be interested in within the next year, especially since the prices are per unit and I never know how many units a particular service will take (that's what the consultations are for). Overall, I'd definitely recommend Juvly to any friend or family member.
