But due to my back surgery I could not use any massage services. Was told my only option was to 'freeze my account until I could use my services." Then the account was 'unfrozen" without warning and I was charged AGAIN. I spoke with the manager more than once and it was clear this was a membership trap that Massage Envy uses to charge people for services they did not receive. There was no customer service. So I sent a written request to cancel my membership, knowing I would lose all that money. They had the nerve to write back and say I had to verbally cancel the membership. It was an ever evolving hell. Had to get my credit card company involved to get this mess stopped. STAY AWAY from membership at all cost. What a nightmare.
