The entire wash and cut appointment lasted about 20 minutes and there was very little consultation about how I wear my hair or what shape I wanted the cut to have. With thick hair, a blunt shoulder cut leaves the hair very heavy and difficult to manage. I did try to address my concerns after the appointment and Diane later offered a refund, which I appreciate, but the experience itself was still very disappointing given how much length was removed compared to what we discussed.

Nikki was working on a child's hair doing a Cornrow and beads install...and it looked nice! Toya, was busy adding color to the client that was scheduled before me(I came early). I was entertained by the television, my phone and the typical salon chattered about kids, family, food and life....nothing inappropriate for a child's ears to hear. So, Toya's specialty is weaves and Nikki does everything, however she says that she is not confident in doing short hair but she would say her specialty is styling children's hair.
