The more you pay, the better the services, if not , results can be poor. Front desk workers poorly trained in politeness and aptitude. Somewhat run like a strict school, demanding and snooty. Zina is so much more than a hairstylist to me. For the past five years, she's been someone I've…read moretrusted not only with my hair, but with my confidence. She somehow always knows exactly what I want, even when I can't put it into words. It truly feels like she reads my mind every single time. When I first found her, my hair was completely damaged from a horrific bleach job, and I honestly thought it was beyond repair. Zina didn't just fix my hair--she saved it. She took her time, was honest with me, and cared more about the health of my hair than making money or rushing the process. That kind of integrity is rare. There are plenty of people who are good at hair, but it's almost impossible to find someone with her level of talent and heart. Zina is kind, sincere, and genuinely loves what she does and the people she does it for. She treats you like a human being, not a transaction. On top of all of that, she's an incredible mother and an even more incredible person. I'm beyond grateful I found her, and I'll forever trust her with my hair--and my heart. What makes this salon unforgettable is the women. Jasminka is powerful, ambitious, and one of the smartest women I know!! She gave me the most amazing facial. Berisa and Aida always greet me with warmth and kindness. I wish I could remember everyone's names but there is so many more sweet uplifting women! Every time I walk in, I feel welcomed and cared for. This place holds such a special place in my heart. I've been wanting to write this forever!! Thank you ladies!!

She was too concerned about seeing her next client and said she didn't have time to correct her mistake. She'd purposely get my shirt wet every visit and doesn't curl my hair well. I'll show the conversation and pictures to follow. So she decided to quit me as a loyal cash paying customer accusing me of things I didn't do. She'd been trying to quit me for some time. But I didn't catch on until my hair went purple. Kind of hard to tell on the first picture. But plenty of people we astonished. What an embarrassment.

My fabulous hair stylist (Cate) moved her clientele over here to Jonathan's shortly after hair…read moresalons re-opened at the beginning of this damn pandemic. I am so glad that she did. I love the smaller salon feeling that Jonathan's has, while still offering all the amenities of a larger salon. When the hair salons reopened, the salon Cate was originally working, really wasn't following the recommendations of the CDC and St Louis County guidelines. She wanted a safe place to work and a safe place for her clients to return too. So, she found Jonathan's. Let me repeat, I am so glad that she did. First off, I love how she cuts my hair. I prefer scissor cuts to a clipper with a snap comb attached, which so many use for a mans hair-cut. She takes the time to totally scissor my hair and only uses a clipper to trim up my neckline. We've had a professional relationship/friendship going on 15 years. Now, why I am so glad she moved. Jonathan's is really protective of their staff and clients. When you arrive, outside they have a table where you are required to spray the bottoms of your shoes with a sanitizer. Once you enter, if you don't have your own personal mask, they'll provide you one. They also, provide gloves for the clients to wear while in the salon. In addition to these protective measures, they sanitize the chairs and workstations in between each client. I feel totally safe! A bonus of coming here, is the other staff members. I just adore, Queen. She makes me smile every time I visit. Will I return? - Every 6 weeks, like clock work. When: Most recently, September 23, 2020 Why: Hair-Cut
