Scheduled an appointment for a fill in and everything. My nails weren't even raising so a dip fill in shouldn't be a problem but no it warranted a whole new set apparently. I am handicapped so I had to have my head down the whole time to keep my hands and arms where the tech could reach them. It wasn't until she removed all the dip on the right hand did I see she wasn't doing a fill but a complete removal. By that time I knew it was too late to stop her. I thought okay maybe they were worse than I thought and she is just going to do a whole new set. No big deal. But then she started putting on color polish. Found out she was doing gel in a glittery blue. My nails before were a darker blue with a slight shimmer that I loved. Now I'm stuck with glittery blue nails and I'm not a glitter person. I'm never going back there. ****I do want to update my review after being told by my mom that with dip, taking it all off first is typical. That is my fault for not understanding the process and not the nail salons. I do stand by my not being able to choose whether I want gel or dip. I thought with me coming in with dip that I would get dip again. I never said anything about gel. I saw a white box with blue in it and thought it was the same thing I had last time. I do remember a white box with blue in it last time so just assumed they were the same. I do have multiple painful spots around my nail bed from the tools used. I do appreciate the owner calling to fix it but unfortunately I'm leaving for vacation in a couple days and do not have time to go back up there to get them fixed to what I originally went in for since I live 30 minutes away and only go to get my nails done when I'm in the area. I've avoided these types of places because it's hard to tell if the employees are treated and paid well. But this one is run like a well oiled machine. I got tired of my one-woman tech being slow and I ran out of things to talk to her about after all these years. It was like too much work. Here you can just sit in silence and they are done in a timely manner. I usually bring my own polish but I just picked one from their table. It's a little confusing what's what on the table but do your best lol. At the end,the tech gives you a ticket. I didn't know what to do with it or how to tip. There is a nail drying counter/fan but they don't tell you to go there so I didn't know. Next to it are foam sandals. I think you pay on the way out and tip there too. I'll be back with better expectations and feeling less intimidated. I'm glad they take appointments and foot callous removal is with a machine (that is new to me!)

Recently I've been coming in & seeing Nurse Kalie. She's wonderful! Super nice, listens & offers great advice. Everytime I come, the staff is always super kind & welcoming! This space is super clean & very updated with all the technology they have. I can't wait to see their new space opening soon!
