Well this review is way overdue.. it was several months ago I walked into the salon to be presented to I would say The BEST of the best a top stylist "Marisol" she not only has the look of a celebrity stylist her techniques and precision where mind blowing. I actually felt as I was being filmed. I felt like a star and walked out looking and feeling like a million bucks. Her qualifications superseded the outcome. I not only recommend her I bow to her skills and magic she inhibits. She's a genius and master in her craft and if your a guy who likes style and wants nothing but the best..go and book only her.. Marisol is the absolute very best! I can't say it more.. absolutely loved... read more

Wonderful, caring service. Not only was the cut and style perfect but they went out of the way to make sure my time there was special.

This place gave me an amazing experience both times, start to finish! Incredibly relaxing and at some times spa-like. Everyone was genuinely pleasant. This is an Aveda salon, but they didn't oversell the products (which makes me more inclined to actually look at them) but used a perfect amount on my hair and even gave me samples (on my second visit) to take home and try. Brandon gave me a "makeover cut", which meant it was going to be a dramatic change. In this case, taking about 10 inches off. He spent a ton of time going over every tiny bit of my hair so it was absolutely perfect. I cannot say enough about my appreciation for his professionalism and thoroughness! It was like he treated my haircut as a work of art. As an actor, my hair is hugely important, so I cannot thank him enough. Nona (unsure of spelling...) gave me partial highlights, and took so much time and care in the process. She knew I was going to see friends after my appointment and wanted to make sure I left looking fabulous, and even made time to do some extra things for me no charge. It was my first time changing my hair to blonde, and she walked me through every step since some people freak out when their hair is radically different. I will continue to return to her for my upkeep because she definitely established trust! It's definitely on the expensive side of salons, but I promise it's worth every penny. They've made a longtime customer out of me! read more

Colorist Nicole is super and always does a great and professional job. The salon is meticulous in handling the Covid guidelines and I applaud them New Review. Best hair cut in my lifetime from Marisol. My hair was a challenge due to health issues and the cut was exactly what I wanted. Done with precision and TLC. Best I have seen both in NY, CT, Va Bach and here. read more

Monica works wonders. She's my new favorite stylist - she makes me comfortable when I'm on that seat, and is open to giving me some options when I'm thinking about doing new things with my hair and style. The Salon Dulay Team organically caters your trip every time. My fiancé and I both got cuts, waxes, and color done and it was a smooth transition to each stylist and specialist. We have definitely started a new relationship with the salon, and can't wait to come by every month! read more

I had an absolute 5 star experience today at Salon Dulay. Sarah cut my hair and did an amazing job. It was my first visit, and she showed me around the salon before starting to work. She was great to talk to and also did an amazing job of listening to my needs. The salon itself is beautiful, clean, and the team works well together! I was so impressed and I'll definitely be coming back. read more

Heard a lot of great things about this Salon and decided to give it a try. Best decision I could've made!! From the second you walk in you are treated very well and the customer service from every single individual is phenomenal. Have been getting my men's haircut with Vanessa now for about 6 months and I really can't see myself getting my hair done anywhere else! Do yourself a favor and let the hair/color stylists work their magic on you!! read more

Great salon! This was my first time and I definitely plan to back! ACTUALLY... I already have my next appointment scheduled! :)

I've been getting haircuts at Salon Dulay since 2014. I've had many hairstylists over the years and I have never had a bad experience there. Whether my hair cut was done by a level 1 or 3 stylist, the hair cuts have all been excellent. I always walk out of the salon feeling very much pampered. Love this place! read more

I booked a haircut w/ Melanie because she was the only level 1 stylist listed on the website, and I was not disappointed. My hair looks pretty awesome!! She was very nice & OH the blowout after the cut was the best blowout I've ever had. It had volume & bounce & it laid perfectly!! (Seriously, I've had blowouts where the stylist had to back comb & hair spray to get volume.... To me that's not a blowout, that's a helmet). This salon needs to stop having their customers pay separately for the tip, they lose a star for that because it's awkwardly annoying. read more

"I was afraid I was petrified. Kept thinking I could never live without" my hair stylist that left me at my previous go-to salon! (Hate it when it happens) Just to get an idea of how long I had prolonged my haircut, my usually shoulder length hair-cut, had gotten long enough to donate! But this chic and sleek salon opened up, and I decided to try it out. Everyone is super nice and I found Jason! He helped me chop my hair off and then styled it just the way I want. He is now my go-to stylist. So Jason, please don't up and leave me! Note: also uses and sells Aveda products and smells good!! read more

Love this salon. My first experience was alright. My stylist didn't really talk to me and I just didn't feel like we meshed well, but the next time I went I had Lauren who is sweet as can be and does great work. I've since gone to here 3 or 4 times. She gave me a split end treatment today and it was incredible. My hair feels and looks so healthy. The salon it's is great! It's also a great value for the experience. You can have a complimentary glass of wine (or beer or coffee with kahlua) with your visit. The stylist also provides you with a hand & arm massage during your wash. LOVE! read more

These ladies know how to help you relax and look great. I recently went for the first time and was greeted by the receptionist who was very welcoming. Then I met Britton, who is a very talented colorist. She worked with me to figure out what color would look best. I was not disappointed by the full color and dimensions afterwards. During my shampoo, I received a great hand and scalp massage by another talented stylist. Afterwards, Melanie gave me a cut and blow dry that breathed new life into my hair. She even took the time to style my hair and not just dry it. I walked out of there feeling very pampered. On another note, I was impressed none of them tried to sell me any products. They have plenty of good quality things to buy. I love not feeling pressured to purchase anything. And that is one of the reasons I will be back. read more

Salon Dulay is by far the BEST! Nonna knows her stuff and I would recommend her as a colorist to anyone especially if you're into BLONDE! Finally my hair doesn't look bleached out anymore! Ashley is also the best at what she does. She goes above and beyond to make your hair look beautiful. Nonna and Ashley are very informative with the aveda hair care line and will guide you to the products that work best with your hair type. This post was from Tina W. But for some reason it showed my husband Richard W. He also agrees that my hair looks much better thanks to Nonna and Ashley. read more

Bernice, is the young lady that always does a wonderful job on coloring my hair. Then after a whole afternoon of sitting around flipping through magazines and sipping on wine while waiting for the colors to perfectly blend in my hair... Jason, styles and cuts my hair! With Bernice and Jason combined you will walk out of that salon like a superstar!!! #dynamicduo I get compliments all the time on where I get my hair done. Ladies, its a whole different experience in salon dulay!!! read more

My sister recommended Salon Dulay so I booked an appointment last minute. The only appointment available was with Lauren (Level 4 stylist). I was a bit hesitant because of the price point for a Level 4, but it was definitely worth the price! Everyone was extremely kind and Lauren went the extra mile by even offering me to go back to get a shorter cut if I changed my mind. I ended up going back again and she went above and beyond giving me the same treatment as if it was my first appointment! I would definitely recommend Salon Dulay if you're searching for a new salon! read more

Really nice first visit! Staff was super friendly and courteous when I arrived and offered me a drink, (they have wine!). I arrived early, so I was hanging out a bit and not just the front desk girl, but other stylists or colorists came by to check on me. If it's your first time, your stylist will show you around the salon and the different services before they do your hair. Really nice, clean, and friendly facility. I'm new to the area, and I got my hair done before I came to Orlando, but I wanted to get my hair flat ironed. I've been going to the same hair salon for 20 years, so you can say, I was a bit hesitant to go to another salon, let alone someone else touch my hair, (I'm half black, so my hair is very unique.) Cleo is the first person who is not my normal hair stylist to do my hair and she did an amazing job and I will return to her again. She was very attentive, listened carefully, and knew exactly what to do with my hair. Even though it was a simple, just getting it flat ironed, she was very efficient, delicate, and overall, amazing at doing my hair. She also took the time to explain the different products she was using in my hair incase I wanted to buy them afterwards, which she did not push at all. For the price I paid for the service I received, I will return here. Strongly recommend coming here for anything. If you are Cast, they offer a discount for color and cut! read more

Clean, contemporary, classy. The staff are all friendly and honest about what they can do to make you look you're best, and are right about it. Im picky about my hair and was impressed when talking with Brandon he took the idea of what I thought I wanted it, combined it with what he thought would look great, and gave me the best haircut I've had in years! read more

I had one of the worst styling experiencing with one of their "top stylists" didn't listen to me and instead of a shoulder length cut that I requested I came out with a chin length bob...two days before Christmas! If this was what their "top tier" stylist did then I shudder to think what one of their other stylists would have done. Don't get fooled by their atmosphere and named brand, this is not a quality salon. I honestly don't even think she knew what she was doing. read more

Recently moved from L.A. and found my new hair salon! Relaxing atmosphere, welcoming and attentive staff (anybody who gets a hot cup of coffee in my hands is my friend!). Charles gave me a great cut, followed the pic I showed him to a T. Carole was sweet and caring and gave me a relaxing shampoo and hand massage. Glad to have lucked out on my first choice of salon in my new home. read more

Went in about a year ago for a cut with waist length hair. I wanted layers added in for a bit more movement. I called ahead and requested a senior stylist and was quoted 90$ for a make over cut with a level 4 stylist. I brought in several pictures to show but in the end it did not matter. I was in tears in the chair before the cut was even over. The stylist cut my hair to shoulder length with little to no layering. It was the worst experience at a salon I have ever had. I left the salon sobbing and refused to pay. The owner did reach out later, but by then the damage was done. I have had two other friends of mine share similar nightmare experiences with this over priced salon. Beware that just because a place has high prices does not mean they do quality work. Below are pictures of what I asked for and what I received (photo taken immediately after I got home). The stylist cut off about 10 inches if not more and then "styled" it with no product and did not even ask where I parted my hair or how I wanted it styled. I blocked out my face as it was blotchy from crying. read more

Great staff. Everyone who works here is extremely nice and professional and super polite. The salon itself is modem and clean and bright. They have a nice waiting area, a good selection of magazines and a very nice retail display area. Always top notch service and fantastic haircuts. I would recommend Salon Dulay to anyone wanting a great high end hair experience. read more

Great salon. Professional and modern! Although a chain but still with a local, small business feel. And I love my styling people! I rock because they rock!! Thank you!! Only request. If they can make it a little quieter so hair wash room would be able to give a zen feel even if it is quasi. Right now quite noisy. read more

Just moved into town and didn't know where to go for my color, which I do monthly. I found Salon Dulay just by searching the internet. I'm always super nervous trying out new salons, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Sandy did an awesome job with my color. The salon was very nice and clean. I'll definitely be going back. read more

Great salon, I do like Aveda salons and their products. This salon is great and not overcrowded, nice and new. I have been here a few times and each time the experience has been positive. I have gotten highlights and a haircut with great results. My only feedback was when I asked for a funky hairstyle (highlights) the result wasn't at all what I asked for, even though I brought in pictures. I would skip this place if looking for a trendy hairstyle or something out of the box. read more

I have never had a better coloring experience than Amanda at Salon Dulay. I have snowy platinum white hair and if done wrong it can be so tragically fragile. Amanda knows her stuff and keeps my hair slightly to the purple/gray tone, just the way I like it. I will say that the one time I had my hair cut here, I was beyond disappointed by the amount and combination of product that was put in my hair. It seriously felt like the tail of a My Little Pony doll.. it was really awful. And no matter how many times I asked her not to, my hair still ended up in this weird flip. Thankfully washing it made it feel normal again and I could see that the cut was nice too. Be sure you know who you are getting when you schedule a cut. Otherwise, just remember to book a blow dry if you are only going for color! read more

The salon itself is lovely. The design elements and layout are really sleek and modern. I've been here 3 times total. My first visit was with Shawn, and I can't say enough about how great he is. Beyond talented, he's exceptional at listening to what you want and helping you achieve a cut you love. He's worth the bump up in price, as far as I'm concerned. (Aveda has different price points for their various levels of stylists. If you think it won't make a difference, you're mistaken!) My second visit didn't go as well as the first time, but after voicing my disappointment to the salon, they did everything they could to bring me back in and keep my business. I was very, very impressed at the level of customer service I received. This led to me booking another appointment with Shawn, who again, exceeded my expectations. I've had SO many compliments on my hair in the week since my cut. I couldn't be more pleased. It's nice to have a salon like this right down the street. I'll be loyal for years to come! read more

I read the salon owner's comment. Obviously she has the right to state their side of the story. However, I can say with confidence that I was *NOT* confused. I stand by my review. read more

Great salon. Friendly staff. Amanda Nicole does a great job on my highlights. Definitely worth a visit.

My haircut was absolutely terrible. My hairdresser clearly did not know what he was doing. If you have curly hair do not go here.

Giving this place 5 stars right now, but will update later as this has only been based off a color correction consultation. I met with Amanda K after having a HORRIBLE experience at a salon a few days ago, where someone who said they had 30+ years experience with balayage simply gave me unbalanced highlights. Amanda sat with me for a half hour to go over all my concerns and pin point exactly what we would be doing the next time I come in (in a week) to fix the previous stylists mistakes. Very hopeful and excited for my appointment next week! Will update after the appointment read more

This salon is very overpriced. I had an all over color which had to be done in two stages. I was there 4 hours! My colorist actually made me wait 30 minutes with nothing on my hair while she touch up another client. I had a all over color and a hair trimmed $269 dollars and 4 hours of my day off. They sure charge A LOT for their time but our time is worthless. Not happy at all with my experience. ***Update. I was given a refund for having such a bad experience. This does make me feel better about this salon. They made some mistakes and they are correcting them and compensating me for my time and frustration. I MIGHT try them again sometime. read more

It was my first time at this salon and was welcomed by my stylist Amanda. She took the time to show me around the salon and the products offered. My hair is very difficult to achieve the right shade of blonde, but she nailed it!!! I recently lost my hair stylist because he switched salons and I am always hesitant about finding a new one. Amanda your AWESOME! Please dont leave! Thank you very much! Job well done! read more

Lovely people and the hair wash with massage Amazing! But sadly did not receive the stylish cut I expected. Was very disappointed,

I had such an amazing experience here! Cleo is amazing and so is all of the staff. I received just as much attention even after they knew I'm from out of town. I wish I lived closer because this would be my go-to place! read more

I had Yari as my stylist!! She is excellent!! Very patient and awesome at reshaping my bangs and giving me a trim!! This place offers a beverage and a head & hand massage which is just spoiling me for any other salon I may visit! Very clean and just overall nice atmosphere! Parking is a bit tough (not the salons fault!!), but they were great about me being a couple minutes late. read more

Salon Dulay is the best salon and salon experience I've ever been to! Great customer service from the second you walk in the door and throughout your appointment! Also they have extremely talented colorists and stylists to make your hair look amazing! I also love the fact they use only Aveda products which are cruelty free and naturally derived. Highly recommend this salon to all my friends and family! Thank you Salon Dulay!! A+++ read more

This salon is the best there is! Stylist and Colorist Brandon, Tabby, Nona and Lauren are outstanding! I have been going to this salon since moving to Windermere from Atlanta and the service and customer treatment is over the top! Moved here from Chicago after going to the same hair stylist for 15 years. I get bleach root touch ups so it is very nerve wracking trying out someone new - you never know if they don't really know what they are doing. I tried a few salons, but Salon Dulay was definitely the best one. I've now been going there for about 6 or 7 months and getting my touch ups with Tabatha. She and the rest of the staff are FANTASTIC. Throughout our appointments she has adjusted my color and toner formula to be 100% perfect every time. I even had them do my hair for my wedding! Gabby was on point and did exactly what I described on both my trial and my wedding day. I also love the process of getting your color washed there. They give you a warm towel for the back of your neck, a hand and arm massage while your conditioner sits, and offer eye cream or lip gloss when you're all finished. It really elevates the salon experience. read more

Loved it! I've always loved Aveda products! I am over the top excited that this new salon opened so close to my house! The Salon is very tranquil and relaxing. Everyone is very nice. Laura, the owner was very patient and attentive over the phone when I called to make my appointment. The customer service is supreme. I can't remember when was the last time I received a hand written "thank you" card in the mail for my visit! Thank you Bernice! You made my day! 5 Stars for follow-up. Jane read more
