The nail salon was packed with customers getting their manicures and pedicures when I entered the store. I was walked to the back of the store to a room with three beds. One bed had a customer getting her lashes done. The other two beds were set up for the head spa experience. I had booked the elite wellness head experience. I was assisted to change into a spa towel with the staff holding a blanket up to cover me from the other people in the room. I would have preferred curtains and hope the store will eventually install some curtains between the beds. The customer getting her lashes done finished shortly after my service began. The head spa experience was quite relaxing. My scalp enjoyed a thorough cleansing and massage. The aromatic products used added to the experience. The experience included my ears washed (I was surprised but did not mind), a face mask, and my neck, shoulders, back and arms massaged. Massage style was Asian style is the best way I can describe it. Hot towels were used to wipe the oils off my arms after the arm massage and then my arms were towel dried. Lastly, my hair was blow dried and finished off with a hair spray. I noticed my scalp felt really clean afterwards. The price point was great especially when there is a promotion this month. Also, not many places offer the hair spa experience in Surrey so this is good alternative than having to go all the way to Richmond or Vancouver.

My nail artist Lee noticed my acrylics (which I had gotten done in Seattle) were lifting and needed to be refilled in order to prevent more of the water damage that had happened to the nail below. Lee asked me if it was ok if she continued her conversations in Vietnamese with the other employees while she was doing my nails, which was so courteous of her. We had really nice conversations in English too and she spent a lot of extra time on my nails to get little details. They kept their salon open for me even though they were well past closed and all the ladies really seemed to enjoy working there. Overall, super nice employees and amazing service. Yelp reviewers were right about this place -- clean, nice job, friendly staff, and prices were very comparable to other nail salons! The owner, Lana, was there and was super friendly. I had to wait about 10 minutes (as I did not have an appointment), but I didn't mind as I was not in a rush and it gave me time to look for my nail polish colour. She also offered me some tea or water while waiting, which I declined since I wasn't thirsty at the time. The girl who did my manicure, Noewa, did an excellent job and didn't rush at all. During my manicure, Lana came back to ask if I wanted tea or water this time, and I happily took a cup of tea, which was so nice! Just before my nails were done, I overheard Lana ask Noewa (in a motherly way) if she had taken a break and to get something to eat. If you ask me, that's a nice boss to have, making sure her staff gets the proper treatment! I'm not sure if these 2 ladies were related, but it was still a nice thing for Lana to do. To top it off, they have a stamp/loyalty card, which gives you $5 off after your 5th and 10th visit. My nail technician was very thorough and this was definitely one of the better polish applications I have had in a while. She was very focused on her work and was not the chatty type. I passed the time watching her work, looking around in silence and listening to the music in the background. Nail salon was clean and tidy. I was very impressed with their polish selection. From the moment I walked in, I was treated like a VIP, with fresh tea kept at the ready. There was never any sense of being rushed, even through the nail color selection, which can take me quite some time! Special nail effects, chrome, cat's eye, gems and all the rest, are all readily available and professionally done as well. Prices are very reasonable, allowing me to have a regular monthly mani/pedi. Total bonus! Parking is not an issue, as it's in a large mall and they accept walk-ins as well as appointments. Give them a try. I think it is good they are offering kits to be more hygienic and environmentally friendly. I did not notice any pedicure salt being used in the foot soak. There was a liner used in the basin. Pedicure service included cuticle care, nail cutting, shaping, foot scrub, a decent lower leg massage and a polish application. The foot scrub consisted of using a pumice stone (part of nail kit) to scrub the foot. I would have liked a body scrub for the lower legs. Overall, it was a decent basic pedicure service for the price. Service was about 40 minutes plus drying time with a fan. I thought that was great that they made sure your nails were dry before you leave. Overall, 3.5 star experience. COVID precautions were in place. Staff wore face masks. Hand sanitizer was available. There were plastic barriers between customers and staff.
