This location is the closest to me and each and everytime uts always been great. There's plenty of parking both in the front as well as the back. Pretty decent size lot in the back of the building. It's decent size store but the carry pretty much everything for the professional needs. Now, I love that they call you to tell you whenever there's any deals going on. Prices have gone up ok products but that's a given as it's pretty much everywhere now. The selection of things they carry is quite nice. A one stop shop for all your hair needed. Color, loads of brands on site. So many selections of tool to choose from. All the girls working have alway been the sweetest. The hello when you walk in and alway asking if I needed any help with anything. Good customer service each visit. When there's deals, don't miss it. Though she did give guidance and recommendations, her attitude was so bad. She was rude and condescending, which was totally uncalled for. When a customer asks you a question, either answer the question to the best of your knowledge or just say sorry i'm not sure. Very unprofessional! I come here often because the location is close to my home! Sometime I'm greeted by Stephanie the manager which always a great and pleasant experience but other times I'm not acknowledged at all or treated very poorly by Brenda and light skin blonde thats works there.Back story on me I'm intersex always mistake for trans !!! Regardless of gender, sexual orientation or birth abnormality, I'm amazed how ignorant and uneducated can be! Specially at a private store for license professionals! I love the salon centric in Woodland Hills and usually do my shopping there but today I was on this side of the valley so I had to go to this one and let me just start by saying the women who work in this store are so miserable and it shows. I simply asked if they had an item in stock because I'm not familiar with where things are located in their store and the woman rolled her eyes at me and shook her head no... didn't even verbally say no she shook her head? And then her and her co worker proceeded to go on their phones and ignore me. On May 3, I purchased 6 camo colors, 3 medium ash & 3 medium natural. When I got to the shop I realize that on accident I ended up getting 2 dark natural in error. I went today to try & exchange the 2 dark natural. Andrea G!!! Came up to do my exchange... I explained what had happened and she began arguing with me, accusing me of stealing the two colors, and that if I wanted to return one I could but had to pay for the other?? "Because clearly I had stolen one of them or took it without paying "!! Andrea was screaming after 35 minutes of her not understanding or trying to fix the problem i walked out as Andrea continued to yell, "she's stealing, she's stealing!" And they will aggressively ask you about what you want and why so you can't just come in and buy and leave. This is just for salon centric in general! We are a salon that used to have a member card. Out of the sudden, they put restrictions on the card. We call corporate and they seem not to care. They don't call us back or seem to do anything about it. We wanna buy stuff from them, why do they have to make it so difficult. It's not like they doing us a favor or giving us the stuff for free. I have been coming here for a while, when Loretta was manager, she always made you feel welcomed and so important. Now that this other manager has been here (For quite sometime) she is the absolute worst. She never greets me when I come in, I'm always saying it to her. She acts like she doesn't know who I am, she never says good bye, thank you. She never communicates with me. I have complained to corporate before, but that didn't seem to help. I feel that I need to write this, because someone needs to read this and do something about it. Since her last episode with me I have been going to Woodland Hills and Simi just so I don't have to have her negative energy for that day. Of course today I had to come because of a last minute client, but still she hasn't improved any. I don't normally give a bad review if I don't like some place, I just won't go back but unfortunately cosmoprof doesn't carry everything I need. Anyway, I was told about two weeks ago by one of their sales associates to hold off if I could on a blow dryer (cuz we know those can be pricey) until December 7the for a 40% off sale. So , I did just that. Well when I came in today that same girl wasn't there but another girl that works there told me that I had to have come in yesterday and buy something in order to get the 40% off. Um..okay?? So, I explained that I had a flyer which didn't mention anything like that nor did the magazines and asked if she could just honor it because I was told by the other sales lady to wait until this sale today. She wouldn't and when I asked for a manager, guess what? There isn't one. Isn't that convenient. I called corporate who says someone will be calling me in a day or two from the east coast to discuss it. (Not sure why they couldn't just make a phone call to the GH store and tell them to honor it? I get the feeling that isn't going to happen but we'll see. My point of this rant is that the customer service here isn't that great at all.
