Upon arriving, we found parking to be a bit of a challenge, and even locating the building was difficult as the business is located in a small yet charming little house. I must say that the building had tons of potential curb appeal, but sadly was in disarray and had a tiny almost non visible sign. Our appointment was during the holidays, so the cozy little house and front yard could have really been decorated and made to look like the owners of the spa really cared about the business and the complete overall customer experience. Sadly, though, the business looked run down and neglected, not a good first impression. Once entering the spa, it was a bit cluttered, but everyone was extremely nice, professional, and accommodating. Our massages were wonderful, although due to covid, we were in separate rooms and had to wear masks. Neither of which supported our original plans of a relaxing spa date. However, we both enjoyed our massages. The room I was in was beautiful, and the total environment was very relaxing for all the senses. My massage was wonderful, the masseuse was very knowledgeable and respectful. To sum things up, my husband and I loved the people and the service they provided. However, a lot was lost on appearance and branding. The employees seemed to want to make this appointment a "total experience" but forgot that that begins before you ever enter the building and before the massage ever begins.

To start with I treated myself to a facial spa day with Meghan Richard; I've waited a couple of weeks to write this review on the treatments I had with her, so I could say how my skin responded post treatment. She started with Dermaplaning to remove dead skin and as a side benefit, all of my peach fuzz! Then I enjoyed her 1 hour signature facial, and finished up with Celluma light therapy. I've had facials at some very nice spa's across the U.S. and this was hands down the nicest one I've ever received!! The techniques Meghan used were fantastic and so incredibly relaxing! Her products smelled amazing and felt wonderful on my face. During the facial, she told me about her Hydrafacial machine, so I made a follow up for the 75 minute Platinum service a week after my facial and all I can say is WOW! I'm pretty sure my face has never been cleaner!! She showed me the water after the service to show me all of the gunk that was extracted....it was brown water! To say my face felt clean and refreshed is an understatement. This service isn't as relaxing as her signature facial, but I feel it is more for treatment for your face than what a regular facial might be. I'm someone who's face tends to break out after treatments and get super super dry. I had essentially back to back treatments and my face never broke out (I feel like the Celluma light therapy helped with that somewhat). The area under my jawline where she treated it has tightened up and looks so much better, I have a sunspot on my cheek and that lightened up; my skin just looks and feels better. My husband keeps telling me my skin looks great and he asked if I changed my makeup! I will definitely make Meghan's signature facial and the Hydrafacial a part of my regular skin routine now. I highly recommend her and her services! I also had a 90 minute relaxing massage with Meghann (yup, there are 2 Meghan(n)'s, that's all you need to remember!). This was another fantastic experience. I'm someone who gets monthly massages, so I'm so happy I don't need to try other places to find a great therapist! She had me so relaxed and was able to work on sore areas in my neck and shoulder without causing soreness afterwards. I am chatty during my sessions but I always go to my girl and we have a good time. Today during my husband's massage his massage therapist spent the majority of the appointment talking to him. That wouldn't have been a huge deal and he didn't mind the conversation but she stopped massaging while she talked. He got there ten minutes early for a 5 o'clock hour long massage and got taken back a few minutes early. He called me about the experience at 5:50. The first thing he did was apologize to me because he felt bad that my membership paid for his experience. We understand the included ten minutes of consultation time means 50 min of massage but ending the appointment ten minutes early doesn't make sense. He left feeling like he got maybe 15-20 minutes of actual massage time. She stopped at multiple points during his session and remained resting on one point of his body while telling her stories. His words exactly were "she would massage and then start talking and stop massaging, removing her hands" We usually love Massage Envy but using a month's worth of credits ($80) and paying a transfer fee ($10) for 15-20 min worth of massage was really disappointing. My husband is non confrontational and would never typically complain but he is a hardworking man who deserved a nice hour long massage.
