The length was much shorter than I wanted, and the French tips were uneven and sloppy. I called afterward and spoke to another lady who told me I could come back for a free fix. When I returned, the staff rushed through the entire set, leaving acrylic underneath my nails, and overall they still looked terrible. I even offered to come back the next day so they could take more time fixing them, but the lady told me no. For the amount of money I'm paying as a high school student, I expected much better quality and service. I think the salon either needs to hire better nail techs or lower their prices to match the quality they provide.

They always have a plethora of staff working and even if you don't make an appointment, you can usually just walk-in. Pedicures never feel rushed and they take the time to ensure the services received are quality or if mistakes are made they make sure to correct them. I usually get the herbal pedicure where you pick a scent and includes the hot stone massage. Prices are pretty reasonable and on-par with other places in town ($45-$50).

Pro tip: they have a website that has those automated reservations. That no longer works. We were sitting and waiting when three ladies walked in and they had made their reservations with that. Well, that no longer works and they haven't been working for two years. So please don't make your reservations with that. That said, they have a lot of parking lots available outside the nail spa. They have a variety of nail colours, and the styles available. They have two rows set up with massage chairs for pedicures and one side for manicures. They were super gentle. Because it's nearby, this is my "back-up" salon when I can't get to my regular place....and can't figure out why I keep going back. There are a lot of things they do right: no 80s-looking pop art decals on the windows, no posters of disembodied hands posing with a crystal ball, ice cream cone, or rose; and no sports on the TV when I last visited. The décor is nicer than many comparable salons. So are the massage chairs. However, I always feel like I'm an inconvenience to the staff. No one greets you at the door; instead you get someone shouting at you from a station as they file another client's nails. (To be fair, most places do this & I hate it.) I then waited in an empty massage chair for about 20-30 minutes before I was helped. The pedicure was good, but I feel like I get more for my money at my regular place (longer massage, more treatments). Note: I consider myself a "good" client. I routinely tip well, and I think I'm polite/patient with the staff. My worst visit there: the woman who was scrubbing my feet slipped and cut my leg with the stone, burned me with the hot towels, and then flat-out *asked* me for a tip. This time, my pedicure was much better. But...they vacuumed around my feet as I sat at the dryer. I took the hint and left soon.
