What surprised me most about the call was that she asked multiple questions like what kind of hair I had, what texture my hair was, and if there was anything I wanted my stylist to know about my hair. I thought this was fantastic because in my 25 years of getting haircuts I had never been asked questions about my hair prior to sitting in the chair on the appointment date. As for the appointment, Kimberley was super sweet and was so responsive to my questions, concerns, and desires for my hair. She was super talkative and consistently checked in to make sure what she was doing to my hair was what I had in mind. As someone with curly hair, it was so nice to have someone who had curly hair herself understand where I was coming from and use her expertise to give me a great cut. Highly recommend!

Something is really off at this salon. I made an appointment 3 months in advance with a stylist who…read morehad cut my hair once and did a good job. Three times before my next appointment, the salon called to tell me that my stylist was "no longer with us" and they would need to reschedule me with a different stylist on a different day. After this 3rd time, I nicely told them how frustrating this was, and they accused me of having an attitude. Instead of saying, "I'm so sorry this has happened again, let me schedule you at our next available appointment." The person on the phone (owner?) became very rude to me. If this is how they treat their clients, I can only imagine how they treat their stylists. I guess this explains why so many are leaving. I will not be returning either.

I am upset with my service as I paid for something I didn't ask for and didn't get any discounts or deals for the next appointment. I wish I could give this business a good review, the staff was kind and the vibe of the shop was nice too.

The wash was INCREDIBLE! My stylist, whose name is escaping me right now, was very thorough and checked in often to see if temperatures and pressure were good. The style itself was very much like the photo I showed her, and the owner, Sam, followed my stepmom's instructions very closely. My stepmom loves the style- and she's very hard to please so it's a big compliment. I took off a point because I didn't see any stylists use any heat protectant at any point, which worried me a bit. There's also almost an excessive amount of hair spray on both of our heads, although I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. Every other customer in there seemed to be really enjoying themselves and seemed to really like the staff, which is fair because they're all very nice. Please be aware that they are CASH ONLY! I didn't know that until I was there. It wasn't an issue for us, but that's the only form of payment they take.

A few hours later, I walked out of there with the best blonde highlights I have ever gotten since we moved to VA in 2009.  No one has ever stopped me when I've been out and about and said they loved my hair and where did I get it done - but they did it twice yesterday!  Thank you, Morgan - you are amazing!  Ladies, run to your phones and make an appointment!
