The extensive hair loss meant a full wig was the best option. When the family came in, the stylist gave them the time, understanding & compassion they needed to feel relaxed about their decision making. The child chose a wig for herself & was carefully fitted. As Mom watched, the child learned all about wearing & caring for the wig. When the lesson was over, the child looked in ALL the mirrors. Then she ran to her mom, & twirled around. Mom just smiled. I prefer to go into a shop that doesn't make me feel like they don't know what they are doing and that they are more focused on gossiping than doing the customers hair.
