Love it here this is our second time staying the owner is nice. Was an easy check in even with our dog and he answered all our questions. The room was clean the beds where nice and comfortable we had two beds and a curtain we could use to have privacy if we wanted. The cleaning ladies and (Man) where funny and helpful with directions and places to eat. Great place to stay for a fun trip to Riggins, Idaho. We had a room with two comfortable beds for $75/night. The shower was hot and they give you plenty of towels. Free ice for your cooler and beers. A nice mini fridge in the room to keep drinks and snacks cold. The owner Tom is a nice guy. Will definitely go back. read more

Stayed at the Salmon River Motel during an extended salmon fishing trip during Memorial Day weekend. It was nice to have a comfy place to come back to in the evening after a long day, away from the hordes of anglers who camp and fish along the river and roadways. For a mere $50 per night, the room was equipped with a very comfy bed, small desk and tv on the wall. The bathroom was spacious and included a vanity sink, good-sized shower and a small fridge and freezer for storing food for the week. Everything was clean and relatively new. Not fancy by any means, but the room fit our needs for the week. The owners are friendly and accommodating. My only two complaints were that it was a bit humid in the room and the noise from the road and adjoining rooms was not entirely peaceful, however the air conditioner next to the front door did a great job of keeping the noise down. I would definitely stay here again! read more

I travel 4 nights a week on average. I generally stay in the bigger chains but in riggins there is not that choice. All that to say I was nicely surprised to find this motel on expedia. The staff was friendly and helpful, The room was in good repair and clean and functional. The bed was comfortable and heater adequate. The price was VERY good and I will be back the next time I am through. read more

Wife told us one price over the phone, the husband then did not charge us what his wife explained over the phone and charged us for something completely different than was explained. He was not very kind and over all the experience was a 1 out of 10. Partying out front of the motel until 2 am. Was not able to contact front desk to complain.overall not very pleased read more

We stayed here the weekend of 9/13/2013,it was a very pleasant stay,the owners/operators are just great small town folks whom are very familiar with the area and the salmon river valley community! I don't recommend this motel to anyone. When we pulled into the driveway looking for the office we was given dirty looks as this guy pointed to signs that stated this wasn't a turn around area. We told the guy we were looking for the office to see if they had a Vacancy. He pointed us to the office. As I went into the office he followed me in and went behind the counter (not very friendly behavior). We went to get into bed and noticed a couple of bugs under the covers. When we pulled the sheets completely back there was tons of bugs at the foot of the bed. It was obvious that the sheets hadn't been changed. But better yet, how did that many bugs get into the bed. When I went up to the office and requested a refund the owner acted like I was lying. Upon the owners inspection a refund was given. Although the owner apologized, we were still stuck searching for another place to stay at 9pm in the evening. I do recommend the Riggins Motel. Very clean rooms and the staff was extremely friendly. read more
