OK, let's the the not-so-good stuff out of the way first, shall we? This isn't a luxury spa. There are no huge rooms with spas and hot tubs and people to put cucumber slices over your eyes while you have a lava-mud facial. So if you're looking for that, well... this ain't your place. However, what this place actually is, is a very clean, tidy motel with comfortable beds, within walking distance of several restaurants and bars, that doesn't charge you an arm and a leg. To be honest, I don't need a hot tub or a spa. I need a clean, comfortable room within walking distance of restaurants and bars. This place fit the bill perfectly. And I paid a grand total of $77 after tax. Seriously, what more could you ask for? Five stars, and I wish I could give it more. read more

Smooth, easy check-in. Room was very clean with no smells, which I truly appreciate. Spacious bathroom, with large shower and lots of hot water. Had the usual basics- single serve coffee maker, small fridge, clean comfortable bed, and a TV. Again, the cleanliness and lack of odors would bring me back if I get that way again! This place is great! It's affordable and clean. The owners are very kind and the best was comfortable. What more can you ask for? I wish more places like this existed. My husband and I enjoyed our stayed for 2 nights while we were in town for a day of river rafting. Jeff stayed late to ensure we could get checked in and the whole crew was friendly throughout our stay. We appreciate that there was someone on site and available to help when we needed it! We had an awesome time here! We always stay at the Salmon Rapids Lodge, which is nice but this place has a charm like no other. It's very peaceful, clean, and the rooms are very comfy. Best bed and pillows I've had in a long time! I didn't want to leave after such a restful and comfortable night! The owner is very friendly and we got to chat with her for a while. Super sweet and love that she moved there from the city to run such a great find. We will definitely be back and prefer the comforts of this place. The owner recommended the cattlemen for breakfast and she was right so we now recommend that and the owner Kate at the Cattlemen is worth going in and her amazing breakfasts! Don't forget Seven Devils for lunch and dinner too! The Riggins Motel is a must so let's get back to that...I stayed in room 13 that has two queen beds in separate rooms. Spotless, cute, and very nice! Mini frig,microwave, and nice wall hanging TV. I usually turn on the TV first but this was such a peaceful place, I just wanted to enjoy the quiet and comfort. My folks stayed next door in room 12. It was also very nice! Give this a try....you won't regret it! Riggins is a place where everyone says hi and makes you feel welcome...you meet a lot of travelers from all over. The river and hills are stunning. Enjoy if you go!! read more

We were in town salmon fishing and needed a place to relax for a bit and shower. The room was small but clean and very comfy. We were camping already so we didn't get to hang out at the fire pit or try the hot tub, however the set up looked like it'd be fun & relaxing. The front desk guy was very kind and helpful. We didn't eat in Riggins, instead we drove to McCall for an excellent dinner. We will definitely be back to this motel. I highly recommend this place read more

I stayed two nights at the Riggins Motel and found the suite we rented to be clean, spacious, and quiet. The owner was responsive to all our needs and the hot tub fire place room added a great place to relax after long days on the river. All of Riggins was in walking distance of the motel. Very friendly and helpful. After 5 days rafting we were happy with anything with a shower, and these rooms didn't disappoint. They were very clean, had AC, mini fridge, and comfy beds. You can even get two buckets of ice for your cooler per day, which is really nice and hard to find. Thanks so much for the nice place to crash after a long trip! read more

Small cottage type motel. Our room was clean bed was comfortable. It was hot hot in Riggins when we went and AC was off in room wen we went it. It took several hours for room to cool down. Owner was extremely friendly when we check in. We had no reservation and got her last available room. We would stay again. Price reasonable walk distance to places to eat and drink. read more
